Sept 19 2025 Lets begin: Windows are absolutely filthy - so for a first time to be at your restaurant it's a minus one impression. Once inside you cannot see outside so imagine it's not considered an important part of the overall experience. The hostess says absolutely nothing on arrival so we stood there staring at one another before finally saying 'two of us please'. Table provided us with a view of the entire restaurant. When we arrived there were two couples at the bar. Several minutes after being seated we were greeted inquiring about beverage - 'shall we start with water' - yes please - "house water ok?" yes - unless it tastes funny. It did taste funny so we did ask for a bottle of non-carbonated water - thinking it would be pellegrino or similar - server called it still water - apparently a new way of charging for filtered water - And how can they not have Ketel One vodka? It's non-GMO. And no house wine? Guessing no winery trusts them with theirs. Lots of people working here - standing and chatting at the servers station adjacent to the bar and kitchen entry. They do an awful lot of talking to one another, ignoring guests at the restaurant. A few other guests arrived - noticed how long it took for them to be greeted and asked about beverages. Caesar salad was ok. Pizza was ok. Nothing to write a 5-star about. Thought cappuccino and tiramisu would be nice. Waited 15 minutes to get servers attention - asked to view dessert menu. Waited another 15 minutes for him to return - he only did so because hubs flagged down another employee. Sorry but nothing special about this place. Oh yes, and the man who came in - perhaps an owner or partner - you ought to have asked us how we enjoyed ourselves because I absolutely would have told you all of this. My new favorite restaurant! I have been dining at Kiki's once a week since they opened. I love the food. Clams are amazing, the pizza's are so light with fresh ingredients and seasoning that gives them a gourmet twist. The light puffy crust is so flavorful even a habitual crust leaver as myself could not resist eating every last bit. The salads are garden to table fresh with a light gourmet dressing that I can't describe because it's so differently delicious. The flat iron steak is unbelievable...I can go on and on but you get the idea! Beyond the food is the Decor. So different from any restaurant in the Desert. It's an eclectic mix between New York Trendy and California Cool. A happy friendly place accentuated by the delightful exuberant staff. They are all wonderful but I have to give a shoutout to Tristan and Julia who have waited on my table the most. "Thank you for the great service!" The owners are hands on and couldn't be more warm and hospitable to every single guest that comes through their doors. It didn't taste fresh at all and honestly had a taste and texture that made it seem like it had been microwaved or reheated. I was expecting the food to be freshly made, so that was definitely disappointing. The flavors were also pretty underwhelming, and overall the food just didn't have the quality I was hoping for. The portions were decent, and there were a few things that were okay, but unfortunately the food quality made it hard for me to really enjoy the meal. When you're paying to eat out, you expect the food to taste fresh and have a little more care put into it. The service was fine, but nothing really stood out as exceptional. Overall, I wouldn't say I had a horrible experience, but I also wouldn't say it was great. For me, it was just an average experience with the food being the main issue.
