This restaurant is located inside of the Ritz Carlton in Palm Desert. It's a drive up the hill, and they only valet your car, no self parking at the Ritz. The restaurant has plenty of natural lighting and the decor is modern, and minimal. The staff represent the professionalism that one would expect at a Ritz Carlton. They all seem well trained in the execution of the experience here. Based on the photos online, I didn't think I would enjoy this place as much as I did. The food is creative, well executed, and delicious. I have tried numerous items here now and I like each quite a bit. The food is light, like the sun shining through the windows. Nothing has left me feeling heavy or sluggish, which I took as a sign that they use good quality ingredients.

We were a group of 4 and some of us liked the food and some didn't. The Wagyu Pastrami was good and had nice flavors, the Soup was great and Thick, the Scrambled Egg Sandwich was okay. The Mahi Mahi Tacos were not good and do not recommend if you don't like Dry Fishy Tacos. The service was wonderful and our server was amazing. We ordered a single shot of Glenlivet 12 and the shot was worth $32 dollars which is insane when the 750 ml Bottle at Ralph's is usually around $29.99. Definitely skip the alcohol if you're a drinker.

The expresso martini here is just wonderful. My sister and I each ordered one and enjoyed every sip. This bar is beautiful with wonderful service and cozy vibes. During the holidays the ambiance is cheerful and festive. Lots of beautiful decor all around. It makes you happy. We also got iced coffees but didn't like it much, tasted like water. No coffee taste at all. But who orders coffee at a bar ??? right ?? lol Anyways just stick to cocktails and some delicious appetizers.

A wonderful restaurant within the Ritz-Carlton. I enjoyed the spacious indoor dining as well as the beautiful outside seating to take in the gorgeous view of the property. Everyone is kind and attentive. With some servers remembering who I was upon my return. My favorites include the tuna sashimi, lobster roll, and harvest salad. Their juices are very refreshing and i enjoy the healthy drink options.

This review is for lunch--can't speak to the dinner menu. We came in on a quiet Monday and had the bar to ourselves, which made for a relaxed, cool escape from the heat outside. The food and cocktails were excellent. The bartender was friendly and attentive, and the whole vibe was laid-back and comfortable. The lobster roll was top-notch--served on a warm, buttery roll with a cool, fresh lobster filling. Both the regular and sweet potato fries were crispy and cooked perfectly. The burger? Absolutely amazing. A little greasy from the bacon jam and rich patty, but in the most satisfying, indulgent way. Highly recommend ducking out of the sun for a quick bite here before heading back to the pool.

Very nice ambiance. Def a vibe with a view. Unfortunately it was over a 100 degrees so we opted to eat inside. For breakfast you can choose either breakfast buffet which was around $25 for kids $50 for adults or à la carte off their menu which depending on the item was roughly anywhere between $15-30 per dish. Our server was very attentive and great, was definitely a pleasure having him as our server. Would recommend this place, will be coming back for dinner as well!

So delicious!! I ordered the 12oz New York Strip & my cousin ordered a salad. We also both got a glass of wine. The NY strip was amazingggg, I got it medium. It was so juicy and full of flavor. The mashed potatoes were also so good. My cousin also really enjoyed her salad & when there was an issue with the chicken it was quickly replaced. The atmosphere? Perfect. It was aesthetically pleasing inside and wasn't too loud. The service was spectacular and our server Jasmine was so sweet. We even ended up getting a dessert on the house (which was SO GOOD). We were definitely satisfied with our meal, drinks and dessert. It was an overall 10/10 experience and amazing first time dining at the Ritz Carlton.

I visited here on my last night in Palm Springs. I was greeted by the valet when I first approached the hotel. I didn't know where the restaurant was that everybody was accommodating to me and showing me where to go. I was greeted by name by the hostess and was seated immediately, I arrived exactly when they open for dinner. The soup of the day was a creamy lobster bisque, which was absolutely amazing. I also had the calamari, which was also delicious for an appetizer. I had the short rib with the creamy polenta for my main entrée, the short rib was very tasty and was falling apart onto the polenta yummy. I also had a tasty dessert which was the banana ice cream. I was completely amazed at the ice cream because I thought it would have chunks of banana in it, but it was just the flavor which was so creamy and very tasty. I will definitely be back to explore different entrées and explore the outside Seeing as though the night I went it was dark and rainy.

Cliff Notes Price Range: $$ Parking: Valet Perk: Shrimp Non-Perk: It was way too cold. Ambiance: Upscale bar Dress: Nice Noise: Med Temperature: COLD Recommend: 100% Date: 07/04/2024 Dissertation: We stopped in here after checking into our hotel. We had just driven 5 hours and were starving as well as a tad cranky, at least I was! We ordered 2 drink specials and the shrimp appetizer and oh my goodness, the shrimp appetizer was so perfect, I'm convinced they were raised on a strict diet of luxury spa water and motivational podcasts. They were huge, juicy, and clearly living their best shrimp life before landing on our plate. As for the drinks? They weren't just perfect--they were so smooth and well-balanced that I half expected them to start giving me life advice. By the time I finished, I was ready to quit my job and become a full-time food critic. The husband wasn't into my bright idea tho.

The service was great and friendly, and willing to seat us even an hour before closing their lunch hours and giving us lots of time and patience and never let our waters get low either! Their coffee is french press, and they offer fresh pressed juices too. They brought the french press pot to the table so you could press and refill your own cup as needed. We got grapefruit & watermelon, and both were refreshing and cooling. We ordered the avocado toast, the breakfast croissant, the breakfast sandwich, and the salmon crepe. Everyone really enjoyed their food. I found the salmon crepe to be really delicious, served with a jammy egg, a generously sized portion of salmon on a bed of spinach with some creme fraiche all wrapped in a delicious crepe wrap. I've never had anything quite like it. Also major compliments to the simple but refreshing side salad that came with each of our breakfasts, but we were also given the option of potatoes or mixed berries. Would recommend highly to anyone in the area looking for a good spot to have brunch.

It was going to be about half an hour for a table under first available. They take your number and text you when your table is ready with a 10 min grace period to get back. It did table about half hour till we received the text. This visit, we got seated inside which was a first for us. Majority of the restaurant is outside with covered umbrellas and small sections in the inside area with different rooms. Our waitress was quite sweet but didn't remember her name. Menu is pretty much same as I remember from last time. Of course the Bloody Mary is always a must here. Started off with that. Food wise, the andouille sausage omelette served with potatoes or a salad and avocado. That also comes with a side of baguette. And the baked brie platter which is a shared starter. But works also a meal if needed. A nice hefty portion of baked Brie with hazelnuts, both ciabatta bread and Asian pear as well as date jam. And a side order of bagel and cream cheese. Food was good. We've only been for brunch and each visit was great. Dinner is a prix fix menu which we have never been. Service was great and the staffs were all very friendly. Water was constantly filled when it was emptied. Until next time.

I believe our waitress Brenda or Brandee (I could be wrong). The sweetest and friendliest. We happened to make it right before happy hour was over from 3-5. The menu was quite small both for the main and happy hour. Main consist of some starters, a handful of entrees and some desserts. HH had some drinks special, a couple dollars off drinks and some dollars off shareable plates. We just had one of the beer on tap which was on happy hour for 6.00. Also one of the flatbread pizza which came up to 12.00 on happy hour. A recommendation from the waitress which was great. It didn't take long for drinks to arrive and then the food right after. Flatbread was quite nice and cheesy. A good combination for a meal. We were having dinner later so something lite to share was great. During the time we were there, the live entertainment was setting up with live music. A nice treat to have while dining. The location is excellent. Right in the heart of town and on the main strip where people watching is amazing. There's a full bar right in the middle so that was nice. The hi top seating along the front is perfect for people watching. The whole patio seating is great for people watching. Overall, we enjoyed our quick little bite with a cold beer and flatbread.
