Came here for the Taste of Summer promotion. Worthwhile experience and gave us an excuse to come and have dinner here,. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is what you would expect from a Ritz Carlton. Very nice and great service[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Menu choices were good for the promotion. We were generous with 4 stars as the overall experience was good,. All the menu items we selected were good. The only disappointment was the short rib. A little salty and chewy. We love coming here and we like any excuse to visit and we have had nice meals here. I expect more thought from the Ritz Carlton.

We dined at State Fare Bar and Kitchen during our recent stay at Ritz Carlton Palm Springs. We had Breakfast and Dinner here (Their other dining option , steakhouse was full and wasn't taking any walk-ins) Breakfast was good with buffet option but we skipped that and got the burrito and eggs Benedict which was solid. We also had the Prime Burger which they were serving during brunch hours and it was very good ! Service was below average during breakfast ! Dinner was a mixed bag. Our server was great but couple of dinner items fell short of expectations. The Salmon was a big disappointment and lacked in flavor. Avocado Fries and Tacos were great ! Drinks are also solid here ! Overall - A good experience. I would dine here if I am staying at the Ritz but would not visit if not staying at the resort.

This restaurant is located inside of the Ritz Carlton in Palm Desert. It's a drive up the hill, and they only valet your car, no self parking at the Ritz. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant has plenty of natural lighting and the decor is modern, and minimal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff represent the professionalism that one would expect at a Ritz Carlton. They all seem well trained in the execution of the experience here. Based on the photos online, I didn't think I would enjoy this place as much as I did. The food is creative, well executed, and delicious. I have tried numerous items here now and I like each quite a bit. The food is light, like the sun shining through the windows. Nothing has left me feeling heavy or sluggish, which I took as a sign that they use good quality ingredients.

The expresso martini here is just wonderful. My sister and I each ordered one and enjoyed every sip. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This bar is beautiful with wonderful service and cozy vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]During the holidays the ambiance is cheerful and festive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of beautiful decor all around. It makes you happy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We also got iced coffees but didn't like it much, tasted like water. No coffee taste at all. But who orders coffee at a bar ??? right ?? lol Anyways just stick to cocktails and some delicious appetizers.

We were a group of 4 and some of us liked the food and some didn't. The Wagyu Pastrami was good and had nice flavors, the Soup was great and Thick, the Scrambled Egg Sandwich was okay. The Mahi Mahi Tacos were not good and do not recommend if you don't like Dry Fishy Tacos. The service was wonderful and our server was amazing. We ordered a single shot of Glenlivet 12 and the shot was worth $32 dollars which is insane when the 750 ml Bottle at Ralph's is usually around $29.99. Definitely skip the alcohol if you're a drinker.

A wonderful restaurant within the Ritz-Carlton. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I enjoyed the spacious indoor dining as well as the beautiful outside seating to take in the gorgeous view of the property.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everyone is kind and attentive. With some servers remembering who I was upon my return. My favorites include the tuna sashimi, lobster roll, and harvest salad. Their juices are very refreshing and i enjoy the healthy drink options.

This review is for lunch--can't speak to the dinner menu. We came in on a quiet Monday and had the bar to ourselves, which made for a relaxed, cool escape from the heat outside. The food and cocktails were excellent. The bartender was friendly and attentive, and the whole vibe was laid-back and comfortable. The lobster roll was top-notch--served on a warm, buttery roll with a cool, fresh lobster filling. Both the regular and sweet potato fries were crispy and cooked perfectly. The burger? Absolutely amazing. A little greasy from the bacon jam and rich patty, but in the most satisfying, indulgent way. Highly recommend ducking out of the sun for a quick bite here before heading back to the pool.

Very nice ambiance. Def a vibe with a view. Unfortunately it was over a 100 degrees so we opted to eat inside. For breakfast you can choose either breakfast buffet which was around $25 for kids $50 for adults or à la carte off their menu which depending on the item was roughly anywhere between $15-30 per dish. Our server was very attentive and great, was definitely a pleasure having him as our server. Would recommend this place, will be coming back for dinner as well!

So delicious!! I ordered the 12oz New York Strip & my cousin ordered a salad. We also both got a glass of wine. The NY strip was amazingggg, I got it medium. It was so juicy and full of flavor. The mashed potatoes were also so good. My cousin also really enjoyed her salad & when there was an issue with the chicken it was quickly replaced. The atmosphere? Perfect. It was aesthetically pleasing inside and wasn't too loud. The service was spectacular and our server Jasmine was so sweet. We even ended up getting a dessert on the house (which was SO GOOD). We were definitely satisfied with our meal, drinks and dessert. It was an overall 10/10 experience and amazing first time dining at the Ritz Carlton.

I ordered the smoked salmon eggs Benedict and it was really good. The eggs were perfectly poached, the salmon was generous, and the hollandaise was creamy without feeling too heavy. I also liked that it came with fresh berries on the side, which made the whole plate feel a little lighter. We also shared the bread and cheese board, and surprisingly, the pear with the date spread was probably one of my favorite bites. The pear was crisp and fresh, and that sweet, rich date spread was seriously addictive. I kept going back for more. The bread, nuts, cheese, and other little bites on the board made it really fun to share. The drinks were refreshing too, and the presentation was beautiful without trying too hard. Definitely one of those places where I'd come back with friends for a slow weekend brunch. The food was good, but the charming patio and overall vibe were probably my favorite part.

It tasted like Vietnamese beef jerky... quite a surpise! For appetizer, we had gazpacho and beet salad. Both are very refreshing and perfect for summer time. For main dish, steak and chillean seabass. For desserts, we had tiramisu and cheese cake. Everything is perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. I have not had one bad dish here!

QUICK TAKE Get: Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos, Grilled Chicken & Mango Salad, flatbread, burger, Key Lime Pie Skip: Coconut Shrimp Know: Ask for salad dressing on the side. They are very generous with it. This turned out to be a great casual lunch in Palm Springs. The setting is relaxed, the menu is easy to share, and there were several things I would happily order again. Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos: Probably my favorite. The mahi comes with tomato relish, chipotle aioli, island slaw, lime sour cream, fire-roasted salsa and chips. Lots of flavor without losing the fish underneath. Grilled Chicken & Mango Salad: Really good combination of grilled chicken, baby greens, feta, toasted almonds and macadamia nuts, pepitas, dried blueberries and tomatoes with a lemon basil vinaigrette. My only advice is to get the dressing on the side. They use a lot of it. Flatbread: Another solid choice for the table. Easy to share and one of those dishes that disappeared pretty quickly. All-American Burger: Simple and very good. American cheese, pickles, Tommy Spread, lettuce, tomato and onion. Nothing fancy, just well done. Key Lime Pie: Definitely save room. Tart, creamy and one of the better endings to the meal. Coconut Shrimp: The only thing I would skip. The shrimp itself was fine, but between the coconut coating and papaya-mango chutney, it was much too sweet for me. Overall, we were impressed. This is not quite the same dining experience or menu you get at a regular Tommy Bahama Restaurant, but for a casual meal in downtown Palm Springs, it worked really well. The mahi tacos and chicken mango salad are the two things I'd order first.
