I was at Arden picking something up and passed by this fast-food spot with a long line, which made me curious. It reminded me of Potato Corner from the store's look to the menu. I ordered the Giga Original Fries with sour cream, just like my usual order and the tastes was slightly similar with comparable crispiness and portion size. Service was great too. Everyone was so friendly. The ambiance was a typical fast food place.

I've always loved Habit Burger & Grill…read more This was a place I would take my mother to when she wanted a burger but Nations and In-N-Out just couldn't hit the spot on that day. Some of the things I've always loved about Habit. -I think their milkshakes have always been so yummy-perfect thickness, perfect sweetness without tasting too artificial-for a very long time no visit was complete without one of their shakes. -I've always enjoyed their creativity when it comes to their sides-though I do love their regular fries, the fact that they have sweet potato options and also they have some sort of tempura option, currently they have tempura green beans-they are straight fire. -Another nice touch is that they have pepperoncini peppers and A-1 sauce in their condiment sections-both pretty unique options in the burger world. -I've always liked that if you join their rewards program, they always give you a free Charburger on your birthday-one of the best rewards of any rewards program. That takes us to this visit to Habit Burger on Howe Avenue in Sacramento. It was birthday season and my reward popped onto my app and I decided I was in the mood for a burger from Habit. So I pulled up my trusty app and went ahead and placed my order for a Charburger with cheese and picked out my customizations and placed my order and it was a pretty $0.00. Arriving at the burger shop, it's a small lot but they had plenty of parking. This location was very clean and had many tables in their dining area for those who choose to dine-in. Walking in my burger was ready in the bag in the spot where DoorDash and Uber Eats orders are placed. Generally when I place orders in person I use their handy kiosk that's at the door to place my order-they have a pretty efficient ordering system there at Habit. The plan was to eat when I got home, but that burger smelled so good in my car, it never even made it to the freeway-it was so good, patties had that nice char flavor and all the veggies were so fresh-it was absolutely delicious. In closing, I would highly recommend this location as they are efficient in their food preparation and they make a pretty quality burger-most of the time that's more than enough. I will be back soon.

The food was tasty. We had the sandwiches and the place is now one of our favorite restaurants…read moreserving banh mis in Sacramento. Staff were very nice.

So a local food reviewer on IG recently did this thing online where he visited many local Banh Mi…read moreshops in Sacramento and of course he ranked them. Well he ranked this one very high, in fact it was his number one-so I had to check it out. The shop is located on Arden Way at a small little nondescript strip mall but they do have plenty of parking,so no issue there. Walking up to the shop they do have a few tables on an outside patio for customers to enjoy. Inside the shop it's very clean with a familiar color scheme-thinking In-N-Out/Five Guys. It's very nice in there. The two workers inside were very efficient, the cashier was overly friendly and welcoming and the other, the sandwich maker, was just quietly grinding out sandwiches the entire time-I appreciated that. They have pretty good menu options but I kind of just went traditional with my lunch order. I ordered a crispy pork banh mi.(10.95) I also ordered both the pork and shrimp spring rolls($4.00 x 2 )to try. It wasn't super busy during this lunchtime so I got my order pretty fast, probably under 12 minutes I would say. Let's talk about the food. I always tell people if I had a personal chef,I would have them make me spring rolls every day for my afternoon snack-I love them so much,so I had high hopes for these. The meat on the pork spring rolls was pretty hearty and kind of took over the spring roll but it was still pretty tasty. The shrimp spring rolls though were a standout, the natural taste of the shrimp along with the other fresh ingredients made the shrimp version stand out. I'm relatively new to the world of Banh Mi but in a very short time I feel like I'm all in and have tried more than a few places and definitely have my favorites, when it comes to bread selections and fillings, but I'm still figuring out my palate in the vast banh mi world. That being said-I really loved this banh mi. It was put together so well, pork was well seasoned and crispy,a nice amount of fresh, snappy, yummy veggies and the bread tasted very fresh. I won't say it's my favorite banh mi, because my number #1 spot is pretty locked up but I really enjoyed the sandwich here. This place is so close to my work,I can easily see it becoming my "Go-To" spot for banh mi. I 100% recommend this shop.

Today was my 1st time trying Dave's Hot Chicken and I liked it!…read moreI used the Drive-thru; the menu is straightforward and it was nice not to have a million choices over which to debate. I chose the X-Men meal, which came with a chicken slider, crinkle-cut fries, pickle slices, a side of Dave's sauce and an X-Men figurine. I love the crispiness and flavor of the chicken but will probably order tenders or nuggets in the future since I felt the buns and greens overpowered the chicken a bit. The fries were hot and crispy and Dave's ranch complemented them nicely. I ordered the slider with no spice so cannot comment on the how the heat level was. I also ordered a chocolate shake. That hit the spot and I liked the thick consistency. The service was great. Maria could tell it was my 1st time there and guided me in the right direction when it came to choosing sauces and sides. I like the decorative exterior paint and the logo. The only thing I'd change is the price-the kids meal and shake cost over $21 including tax. I'll return to try the tenders. Thanks!

I've heard a lot of mixed reviews so I had to check it out! The service was really good. The kid at…read morethe counter knew it was my first time and explained some popular items he recommended. So I ordered some tenders, fries, buffalo fries and mozzarella sticks. It was decent. The tenders are surprisingly spicy even for mild! I was kinda shocked how much seasoning it had... a little too much for me. I do appreciate the quality of the chicken as it was "real" chicken, not that fake meat lol. The mozzarella sticks also just ok... too much seasoning but it had a fun cheese pull. The only item I loved was the buffalo fries! YUM. Seriously, Buffalo fries WITH mac n cheese on top!!!!! So good! Inside had a cool vibe, love the art on the walls. It was a little dirty but they were very busy so i understand. It was just ok.. not my first spot for a chicken spot but I didn't hate it either. Next time I may just order a large buffalo fry! Only thing missing on that would be blue cheese. But overall worth a try at least, but keep in mind the "hot chicken " when ordering your spice level.
