Miso Soup Green Salad

My boyfriend and I LOVE Kiku Sushi. The service is always quick and their lunch specials give you so much food for a great price. I usually get the 3 roll combo with the salmon roll, avocado salmon roll, and spicy crunchy salmon roll. I'm clearly obsessed with salmon lol. Their salmon is honestly the best I've ever had. It's super fresh and melts in your mouth. We've been ordering from them for almost a year now and it's always amazing. 10/10 recommend!

Kiku is a cute little restaurant. Ordered the rainbow roll, teriyaki salmon, and Japanese peach soda. The food was amazing, the staff were very friendly & attentive. It's a nice place for a date, time with family, or even solo. Came with my family (5 including me) on a Saturday around 530 and were seated right away no reservations; within half an hour more people started trickling in. Noise is moderate, more people speaking than loud music, which I appreciate as I don't like loud music while trying to enjoy a meal (I'm 32 going on 60 iykyk).

Kiku's 1 Protein Poke Bowl

Salmon Poke bowl for lunch. Opted for single protein - was a generous portion of rice. Nice pieces of salmon, although a they were humorously small. Most toppings tasted fresh and crunchy. I asked for lighter sauce, which they did. The composition of the bowl was a bit haphazardly put together. My only comment is that I would have liked more vegetables and less rice but I'm sure I can specify that in the future.

I order fried salmon they gave me this Absolutely a disgrace made without love and customer service was on 0 he didn't want to give me a refund till I started getting upset. Plus forgot my eel sauce

Stopped by here to take-out a quick lunch. The lady who took my order was very friendly and attentive. Service was faa. I ordered the Poke Bowl, and I was very impressed at how fresh the fish was. They are also generous with toppings, but the toppings don't seem like they were made for a poke bowl (at least not what I'm used to). The cucumbers and carrots are cut very thick into chunks, and the "green salad" is just iceberg lettuce. Still, very decent food, especially for the price. Will be coming here again to try the tuna lunch! Update: had to try the sushi merely because I was so impressed and pleased by how fresh the fish in the aforementioned poke bowl was. The sushi is AMAZING. This place might become a habit for lunch and dinner. Delivery is FAST and service is very friendly. Love this place!

Do not order their delivery sushi unless you hope to starve. They advertise buy one get one free lol. What a joke. Will never order from them again.

Tuna lunch take 2- the tuna was just as fresh and tasty! (Look at that color!)

I try to branch out and try new things and new places, really I do! But sushi... I mean... I've just been burned too many times. This. This is my spot. Latest tuna lunch even had TORO (fatty tuna) in the roll! (So I might have dissected the roll and eaten it as a kind of poke/sashimi) Nothing but the best from here. Oh- and also, I'm a pretty big fan of their ginger salad dressing!! Still my go-to. Love you Kiku Sushi!

Very good sushi and lightning fast delivery. The prices are a little on the expensive side, but I think they are well worth it.

While wandering through Bed-Stuy on a weekday evening, my husband and I decided to try out this new…read moresushi spot. It wasn't terrible--but I had a lot of mixed feelings. Food: 3/5 I'm a huge sushi fan, so I was excited when I saw a deluxe sashimi set on the menu. Unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark. The scallop was thinly sliced and lacked the rich texture I was hoping for. The salmon and other cuts were decent, but short and oddly shaped--chunky yet small, which made the whole presentation feel a bit off for something labeled deluxe. We also tried to branch out and ordered the short rib entree. For $21, it was shockingly small--definitely a single-person portion, not sharable. I added extra ikura to a salmon donburi bowl for $2, but it was barely a teaspoon's worth--just enough to say it was there. Oddly, the salmon slices in that bowl were thinner than the sashimi we had just eaten, and overall, it left me still hungry even after sharing a maki roll. Lastly, my husband ordered a green salad, which somehow took the entire meal service to arrive. When it finally came, it was just plain romaine, cucumbers, radish, and dressing. For a dinner that clocked in at over $150 (after tip), we definitely left underwhelmed. Service: 3/5 This part wasn't bad, just confusing. We were seated quickly, but the pacing of the meal was strange. Our seaweed salad and soups came out promptly, but the green salad came last, after the hot dishes and nearly after my husband finished eating. Also, a small thing--but when I'm paying $16 for four oysters, I want to know what kind they are. The menu just said "West Coast oysters," but our server couldn't tell us the variety or origin. Not a huge deal, but it added to a general lack of polish that didn't quite match the pricing. I don't think I'd return. For the price, there are better sushi options in Brooklyn with higher quality, better portions, and clearer service. Still, I appreciate new spots opening up in the neighborhood, and I'm always happy to try something new. Hopefully they refine the menu and service with time.

This fit the bill exactly. We started with the salmon belly carpaccio which I'd say isn't really a carpaccio because the salmon isn't sliced as thinly as you'd expect. But! I mention that just to set expectations. Nomenclature aside, it's an excellent appetizer. Served in a truffle and ponzu sauce, the salmon is lightly seared which yields two different textures to the fish. It practically melts in your mouth. Highly recommend this dish. For my entree I went with the trio don, which is 6 pieces of sashimi served over your choice of plain or sushi rice (sushi rice for me). The fish was fresh and flavorful. The portion was perfect for me. My boyfriend ordered a yellowtail roll and enjoyed that as well. We also shared a carafe of the cold house sake. I'd definitely come back and try more items on the menu. It's great for sharing and trying new dishes. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable.

Lots of people came in and out for takeout orders so that seems to be more of the target audience. Service was quick and polite, we were there until 9:30 and they definitely seemed ready for us to be out of there before the 10PM closing time. As for the specialty rolls, there were some pretty creative options - don't shy away from seemingly odd combinations because the flavors really do work well together. I appreciated the rice:fish ratio on all the rolls, the rice was a thin layer letting the flavor of the other ingredients really come through. The plain spicy tuna roll on the other hand was filled with spicy tuna mixed with something crunchy - maybe puffed rice? It seemed to be an unnecessary filler, I would have preferred just fish. I enjoyed the Lovers Dream and Golden Sunset roll the most. While I was debating it while ordering, in hindsight I would definitely get two rolls per person, maybe more if you're really hungry.

Above all, the fish quality and freshness is excellent and the nigiri felt especially authentic (not too much rice, sizable cuts of fish done in the traditional style). The akami and hamachi belly were particularly great. The toro scallion and king salmon crunch hand rolls were also favorites. Our opinions were more split on the spicy tuna crispy rice (I loved, husband was more lukewarm) and dumplings (obviously very freshly prepared but quite fried). The overall ambience is airy, quiet and calm and service was warm and fast. We would have loved to try the cocktails as they sound really interesting -- next time!

The space is pretty large, with a good amount of tables in addition to bar seating. I split the tuna crispy rice and the signature roll set and it was plenty of food for two. The signature roll set had an assortment of interesting and unique rolls ranging from truffle to mango- my fave was the New York crunch w potato crisps on top. The tuna crispy rice was also a bit different- served as a tartare w crispy rice chips for dipping. Very crispy and tasty though! Service was super attentive and very welcoming. Definitely will be coming back if I'm in the area.
