We came here for Mother's Day with a party of 8 and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Our server Carlos was fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and on top of everything without ever making us feel rushed. We started with the hummus, zucchini pancakes, and shepherd's salad with feta, and all of them were fresh and packed with flavor. For entrees we had the whole branzino, octopus, lamb shish kebab, Adana kebab, and fried calf's liver. Every single dish was delicious and cooked perfectly. And the rice... honestly some of the best rice I've ever had at a restaurant. Simple but unbelievably flavorful. Everyone in our group left happy and impressed. Just enjoyed a lovely evening at Kilim. The staff were wonderfully inviting and attentive. The food was delicious, especially the spicy vegetables spread with incredibly tasty warmed bread. The tables were spaced nicely so that you're not on top of other guests and the small added touch of the sweet napkin rings was reminiscent of a lost nuance of a beautifully decorated table. We've been ordering takeout from Kilim Mediterranean for a while now (three little kids over here, so takeout is just easier), and it's one of those places that never lets us down. The food is always fresh and cooked perfectly--super consistent every time. We pretty much always start with the zucchini pancakes (so good--crispy but still soft inside) and the chicken lemon soup, which is honestly one of our favorites anywhere. For mains, we usually go with the Adana, lamb, or chicken kebab platters. The portions are really generous and everything is seasoned just right. It's the kind of meal you're still thinking about later. Also--don't sleep on their desserts. Every single one we've tried has been absolutely insane. We walked in for Saturday lunch, got table right away, no wait time. We got complementary bread and butter to get started. The menu has lots of good dishes. Ordered my favorite Calf's liver. Decent size plate with lots of liver, but it was grilled little more than I'd have liked. Still tasted good with onions and lemon squeeze. The grilled octopus and zucchini pancake were also good. Lamb shish kabab was well made. Big chunks, soft and tender. The salmon also came out to be good looking plate. Loved the grilled shrimp plate too. Service was good, our server was a pro, illustrating all hands skills of dining service. But the kitchen is on little bit of slower side. Took the dishes forever to get served. We were here with our long time friends for a much needed gathering tonight. We started with hummus and babaganoush as our apps. It was served w/side of crusty bread instead of pita. It was delicious, light and with lots of flavor. We all had the chicken shish as our main course. It was also prepared very well and it tasted delicious. The meat was moist. I like the accompaniments with the main course. The owner came by the table to introduce herself and we had a conversation with her. Very friendly individual and we were gifted each a rice pudding to take home. That was a great gesture on the owners part. Impeccable service and quality of food. Love the decor and ambiance. What a delightful surprise! This place was empty at 3pm and as such - they treated us like we were the only people there. The bread that came out with the dips we ordered was some of the best bread I've ever had. Crazy I know but seriously we nearly filled up before the actual meal and wouldn't have regretted it if we had. The mixed grill was plenty for two to share but we got the octopus too just because we wanted to try it. In hindsight I probably would have skipped it - making the meal a better size and the bill a much more appropriate amount for a 3pm weekday dinner. Highly recommended. Please enjoy. read more

A great place for a wonderful family meal. The Turkish meatballs were exquisite. My girlfriend had the octopus, and inhaled her food (that's very important). One thing I particularly loved was the presentation of each plate. The color and arrangement made the food as appealing to the eyes as it was to the palette. The ambiance was wonderful, and the place was incredibly clean. The staff was so friendly and attentive. It felt like we had a team dedicated to us having a wonderful experience, and we really did.
