I really enjoy coming here, the drinks are great and food too! The people working behind the bar are fantastic! Place is really chill on weekdays and even weekends! Definitely recommend coming here!

Great location. Amazing food. Great staff. Owner is cool. Thursday-Saturday night college drink specials. Daytime lunch is dope. Best Bartender, Rich!

Stopped in here for a quick bite before catching a show at NJPAC. On a week night the place was packed at around 7 PM. The bartender was super nice and attentive and made some good shot recommendations. For food I had the Shrimp Po'boy which surprised me. Being in a pub, I expected the shrimp to be heavily fried, but instead they were grilled with a Cajun spice dry rub. All the other components of the sandwich were good and the bread was perfect; the only improvement I could think of would be to have a little bit more remoulade sauce on the sandwich. I would definitely recommend hitting up Kilkenny's if you're in the area, great friendly atmosphere*, solid food, good prices...... what's not to like? *Interesting side note: aside from the bartender I was one of 3 women in the joint and the place was packed.

Irish chips and most importantly crab cake sliders! Ps they're pretty big!

Crabcake sliders. That's all you need to know. But if you insist on reading, let me tell you, they might change your life. You may move to Newark or run against Mayor Cory Booker just to get closer those little squares of heaven. Besides the sliders though, their wings are perfectly crunchy, their Irish fries aren't cheap on the bacon and more importantly their vodka tonics are nice and strong. I usually come for happy hour for better prices on drinks, but lunch is good here too (especially in the spring when they open their giant side doors). Street parking is usually available...oh and did I mention the Crabcake sliders? They're amazing. I'm taking away 1 star because sometimes they take way too long to get you your order and I hate when the waitstaff lets my glass go empty.

    Cranberry Almond Salad. Love.

Kilkenny proudly hosts one of the best pub menus in the area. It goes beyond greasy pub food and delivers some truly delightful dishes. For this reason, it's my favorite pub in the city, and one of my favorite eateries in the area. In addition to typical Irish fare, Kilkenny's has an assortment of pastas and sandwiches and some shockingly good salads! Bravo! The drink options are mighty fine as well. Cocktails are served in large glasses - a great deal. They also have cider on tap. :)

I learned later that this restaurant has been around since the early to mid 1900's. Plenty of parking in a large open lot. The place is very large and has one of the longest bars I've seen. The wood is very dark and you can see the chefs cooking over the hearth. They don't take reservations and won't see you until your entire party is there. One of the things I liked for our party of 10 was they had no problems with seating as they also have many large round tables. For mixed drinks, they make them pretty big and potent. For my martini, they sent back an extra glass. They also had great bleu cheese stuffed olives. We ordered onion rings (8 large to an order) and fried zucchini. The onion ring I had was pretty good. I didn't have the fried zucchini but heard it was also pretty good. Other than the light fare items, all dinners come with their salad bar which has both iceberg lettuce and Caesar Salad along with many fixings as well as cheeses and bread. I had the Baked Seafood Platter which came with scallops, shrimp, Clam Casino (without the shell), Maryland crab cake and a small lobster tail for $49.99. My wife had the baked chicken breast which she said was quite dry. The dining area is quite large and reminds me of the restaurants at a casino. Some in our group said it reminds them of Medieval Times due to the dark wood vibe. While I thought it was a bit pricey, I would still come back and try their signature steaks or prime rib.

We got a great table with that perfect Old Town vibe -- cozy, fun, and super welcoming. This place never disappoints. For our main sandwiches, every plate hit the mark. No misses, just great food across the board. We wrapped up the night with the apple empanadas and vanilla ice cream, which was the perfect ending to an already great meal -- warm, sweet, and ridiculously good. The bartender was amazing too (as always) -- friendly, attentive, and on point the entire night. Can't wait to come back soon! Old Town Pub continues to be one of our absolute favorites.

The only reason I didn't make this a five out of five was that I felt that it was very limited on the happy hour menu and wind up spending a lot more than I anticipated because we ordered off the regular menu in addition to just the hot wings and I'm not even sure if I drink choices. The beers were on the happy hour unless it was like two or three on tap so that was a little bothersome for me. It was hard to sort of follow what is and what Isn't but I think we'll give it a fair. Try one another time when Fifa games are not going on. We did order wings off the happy hour menu, but then from the regular menu I had the sesame tuna tacos instead of fries which I hate I had brussels sprouts but again there's an up charge to do that. My wife had the half cheesesteak she added sautéed peppers she added a chipotle. Aïoli and she also swapped out tater tots for whatever the fried choice was but everything was at an up charge. Food was tasty was good but again like I said I was coming for happy hour and I felt like I wasn't happy with the hour.

So the manager if you see this, please let me know if that's correct or not. This kid was incredible. He was helpful without being overbearing. He was great with his beer knowledge, but we really sold me was when there was a table behind us that had a son with special needs at this young man treated that table with kindness and compassion and really we need more of that. To the owner of this business, I know that the wait staff gets a very minimal amount per hour because they depend on tips, but if there's anyway you can raise his base pay, I would love to see that we were only gonna have one drink each, but because of how he treated us we ended up having two for me and three for my husband, that young man is an investment

My family offered to order since I was on my way and had texted my order, but Annette said "that was not the rule" and my 96 YO disabled mom could sit in a bar chair and wait. My sister explained that my mom couldn't get up into the chair to which Annette responded "I don't care. Those are the rules". Everybody else we encountered were all very pleasant. One other employee came over to tell us not to take it personally, "because she's like that to everybody". On the way out one fellow (he might've been the manager) said that she "was in charge of the kitchen." If that is the case, they would be best to put her in the kitchen and lock the door and not let her intimidate and harass customers, especially 90 six-year-old disabled women. She was in my opinion, a miserable, angry hateful womaAs far as the food. It was solid. The Chicken Savoy and the salad were good. The eggplant parm was different. The Italian bread was surprisingly poor. With all of the great Italian bakeries in the area they could easily upgrade the bread. We are one and done.
