I really enjoy coming here, the drinks are great and food too! The people working behind the bar are fantastic! Place is really chill on weekdays and even weekends! Definitely recommend coming here!

Great location. Amazing food. Great staff. Owner is cool. Thursday-Saturday night college drink specials. Daytime lunch is dope. Best Bartender, Rich!

Stopped in here for a quick bite before catching a show at NJPAC. On a week night the place was packed at around 7 PM. The bartender was super nice and attentive and made some good shot recommendations. For food I had the Shrimp Po'boy which surprised me. Being in a pub, I expected the shrimp to be heavily fried, but instead they were grilled with a Cajun spice dry rub. All the other components of the sandwich were good and the bread was perfect; the only improvement I could think of would be to have a little bit more remoulade sauce on the sandwich. I would definitely recommend hitting up Kilkenny's if you're in the area, great friendly atmosphere*, solid food, good prices...... what's not to like? *Interesting side note: aside from the bartender I was one of 3 women in the joint and the place was packed.

Irish chips and most importantly crab cake sliders! Ps they're pretty big!

Crabcake sliders. That's all you need to know. But if you insist on reading, let me tell you, they might change your life. You may move to Newark or run against Mayor Cory Booker just to get closer those little squares of heaven. Besides the sliders though, their wings are perfectly crunchy, their Irish fries aren't cheap on the bacon and more importantly their vodka tonics are nice and strong. I usually come for happy hour for better prices on drinks, but lunch is good here too (especially in the spring when they open their giant side doors). Street parking is usually available...oh and did I mention the Crabcake sliders? They're amazing. I'm taking away 1 star because sometimes they take way too long to get you your order and I hate when the waitstaff lets my glass go empty.

    Cranberry Almond Salad. Love.

Kilkenny proudly hosts one of the best pub menus in the area. It goes beyond greasy pub food and delivers some truly delightful dishes. For this reason, it's my favorite pub in the city, and one of my favorite eateries in the area. In addition to typical Irish fare, Kilkenny's has an assortment of pastas and sandwiches and some shockingly good salads! Bravo! The drink options are mighty fine as well. Cocktails are served in large glasses - a great deal. They also have cider on tap. :)

But when I saw some of the reviews mentioning sushi and the fact that a platter was $30 where a burger was $28, it seemed like good value. Man, it was delicious! Better than market sushi for sure, like good Japanese restaurant quality. Props to the sushi chef who is clearly making the most of the situation. The bad Took over 35 mins for my order to arrive, so had approx 3 minutes to eat before boarding. The person behind me actually had to cancel their burger order (so it wasn't just the sushi taking a while) and ask for a refund because it took so long. Not clear from the iPad how to get help and who to ask to check up on your order. Concrete feature suggestion: add approx wait time to menu items. The servers were direct and relatively nice about it at least. Seemed like there was some other issue going on - like they were short staffed perhaps.

Getting a refund is like Russian roulette. If you want an adult beverage go to saison or other places in the terminal since this one seems broken. I worst part is the tip is paid up front, so no drink means you're screwed. I could go on and on but my advice is to avoid this place and tip in cash when a human serves you. Zero stars if I could.

Our waitress was very friendly and ended up leaving a pitcher of water once she saw we were parched. The salad bar wasn't huge, but there were some cold dishes along with salad fixings, which is part of the vintage charm. The bread (not complementary) was also a huge round loaf great for sharing. The decor's medieval vibe is very charming and it's nice looking around the room. The kitchen is open to the dining room with big brick ovens. I had the prime rib which was big and juicy (the baked potato was fine but the Yorkshire puff was bland and barely editable soaked in juice - may just be I don't like this food). The steak came with a giant onion ring which was delightful, and it was cooked perfectly tender. This place thrives in your meat and potato staples, so not a lot of side options except what's at the salad bar. For dessert, we had to try the peach melba delight, which was a giant goblet of vanilla ice cream, peaches in juice, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. Deceptively simple but extremely tasty and great to share There's a large bar area and the bathrooms are nice. This place is great for larger groups that include older people. The food is good and the atmosphere did feel like it was from another time, but we had a good time, and it's nice to see a place like this still around.

I learned later that this restaurant has been around since the early to mid 1900's. Plenty of parking in a large open lot. The place is very large and has one of the longest bars I've seen. The wood is very dark and you can see the chefs cooking over the hearth. They don't take reservations and won't see you until your entire party is there. One of the things I liked for our party of 10 was they had no problems with seating as they also have many large round tables. For mixed drinks, they make them pretty big and potent. For my martini, they sent back an extra glass. They also had great bleu cheese stuffed olives. We ordered onion rings (8 large to an order) and fried zucchini. The onion ring I had was pretty good. I didn't have the fried zucchini but heard it was also pretty good. Other than the light fare items, all dinners come with their salad bar which has both iceberg lettuce and Caesar Salad along with many fixings as well as cheeses and bread. I had the Baked Seafood Platter which came with scallops, shrimp, Clam Casino (without the shell), Maryland crab cake and a small lobster tail for $49.99. My wife had the baked chicken breast which she said was quite dry. The dining area is quite large and reminds me of the restaurants at a casino. Some in our group said it reminds them of Medieval Times due to the dark wood vibe. While I thought it was a bit pricey, I would still come back and try their signature steaks or prime rib.

Nestled on the cutesy street of Farnsworth Ave., with a casual exterior and outdoor patio, this pub's best kept secret is that it offers some of the best food in town! The menu has options for everyone, with big flavor, variety, and drinks with flare. The vibe is casual, there is indoor seating upstairs and downstairs, with outdoor seating available on the main level, and two full service bars! A good place to bring a group of 6 or less, perfect for a meet up with friends and great for those who love a good "drinks and tapas" style dinner! The food portions are a good size and shareable. Cheesesteak egg rolls, jalapeño egg rolls, lobster bao buns, and the shrimp caesar salad with their homemade dressing are must orders! The food always arrives to your table hot, fresh and absolutely savory. Each time we've visited the service has been attentive and timely with friendly staff, who offer tasty suggestions. The only reason I didn't make this a five out of five was that I felt that it was very limited on the happy hour menu and wind up spending a lot more than I anticipated because we ordered off the regular menu in addition to just the hot wings and I'm not even sure if I drink choices. The beers were on the happy hour unless it was like two or three on tap so that was a little bothersome for me. It was hard to sort of follow what is and what Isn't but I think we'll give it a fair. Try one another time when Fifa games are not going on. We did order wings off the happy hour menu, but then from the regular menu I had the sesame tuna tacos instead of fries which I hate I had brussels sprouts but again there's an up charge to do that. My wife had the half cheesesteak she added sautéed peppers she added a chipotle. Aïoli and she also swapped out tater tots for whatever the fried choice was but everything was at an up charge. Food was tasty was good but again like I said I was coming for happy hour and I felt like I wasn't happy with the hour.
