Best burger spot on Pontranco for sure! The burgers are huge but even with that they are well seasoned. I ordered the meathead and the wife ordered the classic. Great burgers! We went with 5 other people for a birthday celebration, and everyone loved it! Workers were very nice and the place was super clean. The only complaint is the STRONG smell of acetone from the nail salon 2 doors down. We smelled it as we entered into the restaurant and continued to smell it throughout the meal. Sadly, I can't go back due to that smell. There's got to be a fix for that (hopefully). read more

I saw a video about this place in Insta and decided to try it the same day. Atmosphere was good. Music was loud, lighting was adequate. Service was fast and courteous at the register. Food came out fast and hot. I had the spicy chicken burger which was good but did lack a little bit more to it like more sauce or condiments or pepper jack cheese which took away from giving it a 5 star. My wife and son both got the classic burger and had not negative comments about it. Will definitely come back again soon!!! read more

We tried Killer Burger at the request of my husband. I got the Motley Que, the Teemah, and two purists for my family. I had the Motley Que, which by the time I finished the burger, all I tasted was the grease from the fried onions. My family said their burgers tasted very basic, underseasoned, and we were better off just grilling our our own. I agree. The lack of flavor and quality was disappointing considering the price. These were a quick gimmick for an Instagram pic. I won't be going back or recommending them to anyone. read more

I'm all about supporting local and small businesses, but they must to do their part as well as far as creating a pleasant experience for customers. We walked in ordered our food And there were about four tables that hadn't been cleaned yet. When asked if we can get someone to clean one of the tables since we chose to dine in, it took awhile to get tables clean. A suggestion would be to have one or two waste baskets so customers a throw away their own trash and minimize the wait for customers. First time checking this place out. We'll definitely be back. We were a party of 4, 2 of us had burgers that were undercooked so we asked if they could be cooked a little more. They made us completely new burgers and came to our table and apologized while we were waiting. All of us thought our burgers were delicious (once they made the new ones). We had shareable fries that were plenty for all of us, plus they brought us complimentary onion rings and tots for our experience. Great staff! Great food! read more

STOP I LOVE THIS PLACE! first of all, the service was awesome everyone was pretty lowkey and helpful, they were also super nice! The food was amazing they lowkey weren't lying when they said KILLER burger cuz this place was top notch! Seasoned friends are so good! Food was good nothing to complain. The pricing on the other hand.. a little bit of an overcharge. They're charging basically $15 for a burger and fries not including the drink. Drink was like $6. Decided to try this new spot, 2nd day open- Rewards system not working (yet), and no tater tots (that was a bummer). Burgers are good, nothing to brag about. Priced at $10-12. We tried the classic which was better than the Montey Que which was surprising since the classic was just a regular cheeseburger. The burger bun was ok, at best. It was a little cold, maybe because it took a minute to get the food. Maybe Im being too harsh but I guess if you call it a Killer Burger, I expected more instead of just a regular burger. Service and Staff was superb. Definitely will come back to try the other burgers. Will update on the next burger. read more

Went yesterday and Wowser. Great food and customer service, Definitely going back. Two thumbs up.

Didn't find anything notable about this place. The buns were cold on the "fresh" burgers they brought out. The burger patties had a weird flavor. The peanut butter burger had a sickly sweet taste and they put the pickles on it. The fries were decent and the ice for the drinks was crushed ice. I would rather have TJs, Chris Madrids or Diana's burgers any day, but alas not on our side of town read more

We spent $80 on burgers and for us they were just basic and absolutely as ever! 6 adults that ordered different burgers and they were terrible I'm not sure if this is the norm but for all the hype it was not worth returning for us. Plus 3 out of the six burgers ordered were made incorrectly. The one positive comment is the girl taking our order was pleasant and a gentleman came out to inform us that gluten bread is gluten but the crispy jalapeños and crispy onions are not and that was greatly appreciated. The staff was polite and kept the line moving smoothly. The wait for food wasn't too long either and it was pretty busy. I'll say we paid $52 for 2 burgers, shareable fries, a kids meal and 2 beers, which would mean the food had to be phenomenal. That couldn't be anymore farther from the truth. The food was absolutely mediocre at best. They messed up on two of the burgers putting bacon on the kids and blue cheese on the other burger(Teemah), when we requested to exclude those from the burgers. The burgers were fueled by the flavor of the add-ons but no substantial flavor itself. The "killer house sauce" is nothing more than ranch and the Spicy G Sauce (I think that's it?) is more like spicy thousand island. Overall, it seems they ripped sauces from common condiments and named them something to make it sound original and better than what it was. The fries are good steak fries and perfectly crispy and not too salty. Overall, wouldn't recommend it mainly because it is incredibly overpriced. They are overly confident in what they are serving, but it is a chain and that's to be expected. Save your money and go to Burger Boy for a burger that is fueled by the flavor of the actually patty and not packing it with add-ons for flavor, or drive a little farther and head to Babe's The environment was spacious but far too busy. It is already loud from how busy it is and not much to absorb sound due to the open floor plan and it being completely concrete. The loud music just makes it that much louder and is incredibly easy to find yourself overstimulated, especially when you have kids with you. read more

We were in San Antonio this past weekend on a family emergency but of course people have to eat. Well we tried this place and well it's nothing special. The burgers weren't anything special and the inside the restaurant was nothing special. Customer service was very bad. Let me explain, we ordered three burgers, a classic cheese burger with the sauce on the side, a classic cheeseburger plain and dry and one of their other burgers and fries. The fries were actually the best part of the meal. This girl brought us two classic cheeseburgers with everything and then the one I ordered. I tell this girl that two of the cheeseburgers weren't what we ordered. She looks at me like I was wrong and asked me for the receipt which I start to show her. She puts the wrong burgers down on the table and says she would go tell whoever. Then the girl who took my order comes and gets the wrong burgers and says she would have the correct ones brought out to us when they are done. No manager or employee comes out to apologize or to explain nothing like that. I had to wait for them to cook the other two cheeseburgers and bring them out to us. Meanwhile my burger gets cold and our fries got cold. But like I said the burgers weren't bad but nothing special. So if y'all want a place where they don't care about customer service or the customers and an average burger then this is right for you. As for the price for these three cheeseburgers, fries and three drinks it was $60.00 dollars. I won't never go back to this place not worth it. read more

Come here 4 times now first time it was fire the burger and fries have tasted good each time but the LAST 3 TIMES there is always something missing or wrong. Last 2 times they just dont put the sauces, i wouldnt care if it was free but yall legit charge for the sauces. And i wanna say i was missing something else. After reading up on the Killer Burger story I was excited to try. It was 40 outside and about 60 inside so it was very cold we had to keep our jackets on and get a blanket from the car. Ordering was super easy and simple, the only disappointment was that they do not have regular jalepenos just crispy ones which my burger came with. Food was ok, fries were great, atmosphere and seating were cold and tight/awkward. I'd give it another try but will wait until weather warms up a bit. we first came on grand opening day - line was crazy but staff did very well managing the high volume of people. the peanut butter pickle bacon and the fun guy, and motley que were delicious, the family rated it 5 stars, and we were excited to come back after the hype died down a bit. today my partner came during lunch at about noon and the line was only about 3 other people. he ordered two burgers and expected a shorter wait time considering the much less busy atmosphere. unfortunately, he sat and watched what looked like our order sat ready to be packed for about 5 minutes. wanting to give the benefit of the doubt, he waited more and it took 10 minutes for someone to notice it and pack it in a togo bag. then he waited for his name to be called for another 10 minutes before intervening and asking if that bag was his order. it took longer than grand opening day for him to retrieve his order because of the lack of communication between staff - about 25 minutes of waiting after ordering just 2 burgers. by the time he came home, we had some pretty cold burgers and the fries had become rather soft due to sitting in their steamed containers for too long. hoping to see an improvement in consistency! read more

After a stressful day of sitting down writing code in class my stomach angrily asked me for a burger. I came on yelp looking for the best burger and the pictures from KIller Burger really popped out at me and it wasn't far at all. I went with the meathead burger and it was amazing! My food was so fresh I accidentally burned my finger on one of the fries. The service was good as well and I have no complaints about that. Now I will say the place is very clean but it kind of felt like something was missing, maybe a tv I'm not sure.
