As someone who genuinely enjoys visiting coffee shops, I came in with high expectations, but unfortunately, this experience was disappointing. I barely drank my beverage. I only tasted a little of the whipped cream and a few chocolate pieces on top. It was advertised as having a mild spicy kick, but I didn't taste any spice at all. To me, it just tasted like milk, whipped cream, cherry syrup, and a shot of espresso. I was expecting a richer chocolate flavor, a better balance with the coffee, and the subtle heat that was advertised, but it completely missed the mark. The shop itself is very small, and in my opinion, having a DJ in a coffee shop doesn't create the right atmosphere. The music was so loud that it made it difficult to have a conversation or even communicate with the staff. On top of that, my drink was handed to me with noticeable spills, which wasn't a great first impression. The food was actually what attracted me to this place because of all the positive reviews. However, when I ordered the avocado toast, I was told it would take about 20 minutes. For a coffee shop with more than five employees working at the time, I found that wait to be unreasonable, so I decided not to order. I've visited dozens of coffee shops throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, so I have plenty of experiences to compare with. Unfortunately, this one did not meet my expectations in terms of quality, service, or atmosphere. That said, I do want to give credit where it's due. The cashier was very polite, welcoming, and greeted me with a genuine smile. I truly appreciated the friendly customer service, and I hope the rest of the experience can eventually match that level of hospitality.

This is a vibe. Came on a Saturday morning to try a new spot. They had a DJ going an they were turning through customer. Food crushed. Cold brew wasn't anything crazy special, but from what I've read that's not their strongest play everything we saw come out looks great. Nice change go of the same chr and paste coffee shops you see all over DFW

OMG..let's just say this: I came here for some coffee on a Sunday morning. Went back the next day for more. Killer Joe Coffee?! Yall did yalls BIG one. That coffee was chefs kiss! The next time I visit Dallas, you will for sure be a go-to spot for me.

Stopped at killer joes this morning and loved the vibe. I walked in and saw the DJ which definitely caught me by surprise. It's definitely not your classic Breakfast on the go spot. The line was decent especially for Easter Sunday. The staff is so kind! The bagel was both aesthetically pleasing and delicious. However, the bagel is very thick. If you aren't big on carbs, I'd recommend ordering this but with the croissant or low carb options. I also like how you can customize the bark with sauces or additional items. Love it!

Amazing spot for some GREAT coffee and a bite to eat! As my first time here the girl at the counter was super helpful in helping me choose some of their best items. I went with a coffee and lemonade for drinks. For food I got their bagel and wow was it delicious. Packed with flavor and the thing was humongous! More of a smaller type of feel but don't let that fool you there stuff is amazing. There are about 3-4 tables inside. So if u wanted to sit for a sec you could but I think it is a more grab and go! This place will not disappoint! Give it a try!

This is the SPOT! Amazing breakfast sandwiches, coffee and paninis. Great vibes, dj set up Saturdays. Great service. All around my favorite breakfast spot in dallas! I am still working through the menu but think my favorite is the spaghetti western or SOB. Also killer coffee!

Sea Salt Caramel de Leche Latte

Small little hole in the wall coffee shop ! The staff were all super nice and helpful- the place itself wasn't really my vibe, very loud alt music blasting and skulls and such but the coffee itself was really good! I got the Sea Salt Caramel de Leche Latte and it was super tasty. There's amount 4 tables inside and about 5 outside. There is a sign that says no laptops or working remotely on the weekends- I'm assuming bc it's so small and they get so busy. Overall I enjoyed the coffee but the environment wasn't really for me. I highly recommend trying at least if you're in the area !

A perfect summer sandwich, cold and hot options, with breakfast all day! I got the turkey melt and their hot tea. They had a DJ spinning tunes which did make the inside a bit loud and hard to talk with friends but we enjoy the patio instead.

This is one of those places that you drive by all the time but you never really hear about and that needs to change! The iced sea salt caramel de Leche latte is out of this world! And it comes in a big cup so I actually feel like I'm getting my $7 worth. Parking is mehhhh but let's be real parking isn't great at all of the best coffee shops in Dallas. It's a small little space so maybe it's best to order ahead (especially on weekends), but I promise it's absolutely worth it. The few times I've gone everyone working has been really nice! They also make a pretty good breakfast sandwich!

Their specialty latte was pretty good! I was a bit apprehensive when I walked up to the counter and saw all of the generic syrups because that generally means the coffee isn't as good, but I was surprised by how creamy and well balanced my latte was. I can't remember exactly what I got, but I asked the barista what their most popular latte was and ordered exactly that. Next time, I'll try their food because it seems like they have some really loyal fans and a lot of bagels too!

Absolutely loved the flavor of my latte and the quality of the coffee! It was crowded inside, however the vibes were so fun! They had a DJ playing music.

It's hard to find a coffee spot with solid food that's still grab and go. This place hits it. And it's different from many other Dallas coffee shops with its vibe. Their burritos are amazing and their French toast latte was great. Cold brew wasn't okay but lattes were better.

This is my new favorite coffee shop in Dallas!! 44 mile drive there and it's so worth it. I had a ham and egg croissant and a salted Carmel de Leche iced latte. Both were absolutely delicious and I loved the vibes.

The food, service, and ambiance was great. A place you'd actually want to hang out and not just grab a cup of coffee.

The music is so loud you can't hear and the coffee tastes like it's old. Only sugar free option they have is vanilla.

Our event coordinator had already been in contact with each hotel's sales team regarding room blocks, but my fiancé and I wanted to personally see the properties before recommending them to 30-40 hotel room blocks. Although we arrived after sales office hours, Liz at the front desk was exceptionally kind. She walked us through the restaurants commonly used for private events, explained the renovation timeline, and invited us to take our time exploring before returning to the front desk to view a standard guest room. Unfortunately, our experience changed when another employee, who later identified himself as Clayton, a manager, stepped in. It appeared he had been listening to our conversation but had not introduced himself. He abruptly informed us that we would not be able to view a room. We explained that our event coordinator was already working with the sales manager regarding room blocks and pricing, and that we were simply trying to ensure we felt confident recommending the hotel to our family and friends. Despite understanding the situation, he remained unwilling to accommodate the request. His only suggestion was that we purchase a room if we wanted to see one. For us, this interaction spoke volumes. Hospitality isn't just about beautiful rooms--it's about making potential guests feel welcomed and valued. If this was the experience we received as prospective clients considering multiple wedding events and dozens of room nights, it gave us pause about what our guests might experience. As a result, we will likely to move our room block, welcome dinner, Saturday event, and Sunday brunch where we're met with warmth, flexibility, and genuine hospitality from the moment we arrive. The Joule is undeniably a beautiful property, but customer service plays a major role in our decision-making. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling that our business was neither appreciated nor wanted.
