You're asked to wait outside or in your car and they bring your food to you. One person takes your order and money, another person packs and delivers the food. If I could give 0 stars I would. I was sooooooo disappointed. I tried them out because I heard great things from people I know personally. I ordered the Spicy Ahi Poke Nachos and the Spicy Ahi Wontons. No picture because of my disappointment with the food and wasting $31. The chips for the nachos were STALE!!!!!! For $15 STALE CHIPS?!?!?! not alot of fish, which at this point didn't matter because the chips ruined the WHOLE DISH. Here's a PLUS the fish tasted good but, like I said earlier THE CHIPS. My second plate I got was the Spicy Ahi Wontons. I thought it was gna be spicy ahi poke in the Wontons but it was basically Tuna in the wonton, the tuna wasn't pleasing and the sauce over powered the wonton. No plus for that dish. Best meat jun ever. Not just this location but even kim Chee III. The only two Kim chee restaurants I've been too. It all started in high school when Kim chee was across of McKinley. Their meat Jun w/sauce, bbq chicken, Kal-Bi and king Kal-Bi, and the chicken katsu was so good. Wasn't too fond of their seaweed soup though. Need a little bit more salt but the kids loved it. The spicy rice cake was yummy. I don't know if they can add in cheese, I've never asked and it's not advertised. But I like mines with cheese. Oh and they sale Bubbies Mochi ice cream. 1 for $1.50 or 5 for $1 each. The prices are about the same as any Kim chee restaurant chain and regular korean restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is ok. Kind of small but they have large tables that fits 8-10 people. But for a party of 11 (6 children & 5 adults, we were able to fit comfortably. The restrooms are outside by the stairs and you need the key to get in. Lots of parking. The service was great and the waitresses were very kind and patient with us. TIP: 18% gratuity was added automatically to our receipt. I don't know if they do that everyone or just for big groups. We didn't know until I was about to pay and that's when the waitress told me. We went for a family dinner tonight. Last time I was hete was a few years ago when they burned my over priced butterfish. Did not dare order it again! Mom wanted Kalbi. She specifically said not big bone! When the guy brought out the kalbi, I knew right away that was not the one we ordered. I mentioned it to him but he said this was the "regular" kalbi. Little did we know, this was a lie. We enjoyed the food. Generous portions, great flavor, great service. When I wanted the tab, they told me I had to go to the counter to pay. The waitress rang me up but did not show me our tab until my brother asked to see it. We found out that they charged us $41.95 for the Big Bone Kalbi! Agaun, the guy tells me this is their "regular" kalbi?! No way! It was Big Bone, no regular! So, be careful when you don't see your tab. All he said was "sorry"??? Did not resolve or compensate us. We left $15 tip for the good service even though this happened. These are young adults running the restaurant. Makes you wonder if they are taught to take advantage of customers?! read more

I got the lunch combo of spicy pork and vegetable tempura. I must say it was amazing :) YOu can literally try anything on the menu and it will guarantee be super good. The only reason it's not a 5 star for me is because sometimes the parking issue really frustrates me. But i guess it also depends on the time you go. Kimchee7 is located in aiea right next to Teddy's Bigger Burger right across from Pearlridge mall. This location is a little smaller than the other Kimchee restaurants that i've been to. not sure if it's the same franchise or not. Anyways i came here around noon, it was pretty packed. lots of booths to choose from. One thing that made my experience at Kimchee 7 great was the customer service. Everyone was very nice and attentive. Our waters were constantly filled, out side dishes were refilled as well. I had the lunch special meat jun with spicy pork. I love the meat jun, it came out piping hot; almost burning my mouth. and the spicy pork was juicy and flavorful. The reason why i wrote how hot the temperature is because i've dined at disgusting Cho Dang Ala Moana and my food always came out cold. Kimchee 7 is my new go-to. My fiancé got their combo special which came with Mandoo, Kalbi, and Meatjun. both of our meals came with rice and seaweed soup. We love Kimchee 7, definitely will come back to try their spicy ahi nachos. So happy that the food is tasty, the service was amazing AND that the portion was super big!! Leaving 4 stars because this has always been my best kalbi plate. Amazing. Something went wrong tonite. With take out and a tip I wasted 40 dollars down the garbage disposal. Called to politely let the manager know someone screwed the pooch tonite and all I heard her in the background was being too busy. The dude on the phone was defending the marinade to me. I don't know crap about maranade. The only thing I know is I thought this was a candid camera show where someone threw a pint of salt on my food. My family and I have been here a couple of times and always leave satisfied and full. We highly recommend the BBQ beef plate, it is exceptional and definitely a family favorite wait staff is always fast and courteous and the food comes out quickly. Their kimchee is fantastic as well, so why only 4 stars? Wow. After eating touristy crap in Ko Olina, this place totally hit the spot. The Kalbi and Meat Jun was so awesome that my husband and I swore to return. We split the Mixed Plate C and it was enough for the both of us. Can't say much about the ambience inside since we just ordered takeout. The food was ready fast and they didn't skimp out because we weren't eating there. Veggies were good too! For us, it was good enough to drive from Aulani! Another one of my family's go-to places for Korean food! My family has a tradition of eating Korean food before and after every trip to the mainland or abroad (because we need our rice fixes before there is none on the mainland!). 99% of the time we pick Kim Chee 7! Whether we get takeout or dine in, this place is always consistent with their portions and food! My family really loves the meat jun but I come for the katsu! Best chicken katsu I've ever had! I don't even put sauce on it! (Gasp! That's unheard of! I know!) I also don't put sauce on the meat jun! Gasp again! It's that good! I love dining in because of the various sides they give. You also get unlimited refills! Yum! I love the spicy daikon! (The long brown strips. Lol) They also give you seaweed soup which is also delicious. The part my family loves the most are their portions! We can get 3 plates and it'll feed all 6 of us plus some! Total score in our books! If you haven't tried this place before, you mustttt!! WE HAD EGGSHELLS in our food. Someone made the order with the eggshells in the breading. Someone cut our tonkatsu with the eggshells embedded/lodged in the breading. Someone plated into the takeout container that way. SERIOUSLY. Look at the photos. It's freakin' unbelievable that the person who cut the tonkatsu didn't see it, considering the fact that some pieces were CUT DIRECTLY ON THE EGGSHELL. Nearly every piece of tonkatsu in the order, had eggshells lodged in them. Some eggshells were large, like bigger than a nickel. And some were small fragments, which was even more upsetting because it was too much work for us to pick out every fragmented shell. It was kinda inedible, and gross. And I'm not kidding: I know it was in the breading and fried like that, because the breading was cooked, all around the eggshells. Just look at the pictures. Whenever my family comes down from Vegas, they request their local faves, and Kimchee7's tonkatsu is (or was) was one of the usual requests. Never again!!! BEST MEAT JUN! The meat jun at this place is so yummy. My favorite on the island, hands down. I enjoy the kim chee and their sauce as well. I can eat the sauce on rice all day that is how good it is. Is that strange? Probably. My hubby fancies the chicken katsu but I am pretty just die hard meat jun when I go here. Once in a while I will stray and order the bi bim kook so. Wow! This place is good! I got the three choice with Chicken Katsu, meat jun and shrimp tempura. The meat jun is delicious and the katsu is perfect. I usually like my shrimp tempura with flaky panko but this one was not flaky BUT don't let that fool you, it was crispy and delicious. The prices are a little high but for the amount of food you get, you'll understand why. You could probably split a plate between 2 people easily! Service here is great! Kim Chee 7 is the best. I must admit, it can get expensive...but you can go during lunch, the lunch combos are so worth it. I like getting their Kalbi and barbecue chicken combo. You pay a little more for Kalbi. My boyfriend likes to get their mochiko chicken and meat jun. It's weird because his mochiko chicken always gets cooked differently, but it's always good. Just a little strange that it's not cooked the same all the time. Every meal comes with seaweed soup which is so yummy. They also provide three side dishes which kimchee is always one of them. The other two sides are pickled but I usually eat all three. They refill your sides! The customer service and staff is always on point! They come around filling up your waters making sure you're ok! The food always comes out pretty quickly. We've tried a variety of different foods from here. I recently tried the spicy ahi and it was pretty good. It was a little putting off because i called in an order and the person over the phone asked someone if they had spicy ahi. I assumed she was new because it's always been posted all over the restaurant. It was also my first time placing a phone order but it was easy. There's a lot on the menu I still haven't tried. It can get pricey when you're not there during their lunch or you decide to order something like the regular kalbi versus small bone kalbi. The quality of everything even if it's expensive makes me always want to come back. I usually go during lunch which again, I think it's well worth the combos, but also usually there isn't a wait for seats so I go during the off times like at 3pm. My boyfriend ordered the two choice dinner combo which gives you a list of different entrees to pair together for $20.50 I believe? They had a good assortment of choices to mix and match together. I also ordered a kimchee pancake because my eyes were waaaaay bigger than my stomach. The kimchee pancake took a while to come out so by the time it did reach our table, I was pretty full off of my meat jhun. But it was definitely worth waiting for! The pancake is about the size of a medium pizza? It was so soft in the middle and crispy on the edges, not oily at all! The sauce that comes with the meat jhun is honestly why I love this place so much, it's sweet yet perfectly paired with their meat jhun. The meat isn't tough and it isn't slapped with a thick coating of batter. If you've never tasted this sauce before you are seriously missing out! You will want to dip it in everything lol and even pour some on your rice. The staff here is always very quick and friendly with checking up on anything that you need (water refill/sauce refill/more napkins). From the years going here I think the big bone kalbi has gotten smaller? Anyways this place is great especially their daikon and kimchi is on point. Especially their meat Jun sauce is really their secret sauce which is really flavorful. Probably the best meat Jun/ Korean kind of dipping sauce on the island. Nothing comes close to that level. Ordered (through bite squad) a few items for lunch to celebrate a coworker's birthday at our office. It's been over 10 years since I've eaten here but remember it being decently priced and satisfying. But sadly I won't ever return here again :( Meat Jun was tough and bland, and fish jun had no flavor as well. Mandoo kook soo had bell peppers in it?!!! Gross and weird tasting. And a lot of soup spilled into the bag because the lid melted from the heat of the soup. Banchan sides were the worse I've ever had from any Korean joint. Seaweed was sour smelling and was clearly turning bad. Cabbage, sprouts, and kimchee had absolutely no flavor, just blah. The one thing from our order, the bbq chicken was edible and wished we had ordered more of it. I just felt bad since I recommended this place to my coworkers....and it sucked. Ugh.
