I'm going to say it. The best restaurant in palos verdes peninsula for foodies. They're in the midst of a soft opening so they pared down the menu to barbecue options but the quality and the quantity is more than fitting for the price they charge. Ever cut of meet on the premium combo was delicious, next level up from baekjong. Pro tip get the non marinated short rib instead of marinated option. Lightly dip it in the salt and it just melts in your mouth. The owners used to run a shabu shabu restaurant in Diamond bar so they got the hook up for high quality US prime meat. I am so happy there's finally a korean bbq restaurant in palos verdes!! I honestly didnt know what to expect. My friend was going to give me the feed back after trying out on their grand opening night. She gave me a thumbs up so I went with my friend today. Its simple, nicely decorated, not too fancy but pretty modern interior. Server was very friendly, meat was delicious! We ordered premium combo between 3 of us and it was plenty of meat, we were stuffed. Rest of side dishes were also delicious, we got it refilled many times because we liked it. We were so happy we don't have to drive far to have kbbq anymore. We used to drive down to back jung in Torrance which is not too far but still 25 min drive and food is even better than baek jung! In short, it is a korean BBQ restaurant with many other lunch options. The ambience is modern, trendy, and CLEAN! Bathrooms are gorgeous too! Food is AMAZING. I'm Korean and I vouch for the sides. Mannnn...living in LA, I have been to a lot of Korean bbq restaurants. In my younger years you'd find me tearing up that AYCE circuit in Ktown with the cheaper meat, the quantity over the quality. This is not that. With age comes wisdom and the inability to cut the belly fat after eating AYCE. Quality over quantity now, just for the sake of my mental health and so I can see my feet when I look down. Every cut of meat here is USDA Prime. The marbling was incredible. The fiancée and I ordered the LUXE combo, which is probably meant for 3, but we thought we were up for the challenge. The portion was humongous for two and both of us always are big eaters, but still, there were considerable leftovers. The star of the show was the short rib that came on a tomahawk style bone. I'm not one for hyperbole, but those pieces of meat may have been the best I've had ever. The meat melted in my mouth with the juices tantalizing every taste bud. Don't be nasty. It was delicious. I haven't even touched on the sides, which were great as well. I'm a kimchi and side fiend. The owner told us that everything was made in house and they were refilled sometimes without us even asking. Well, with all the leftovers, it's meat for tomorrows lunch...nvm my fiancée is definitely gonna steal it. The meal is a bit on the pricier side but the quality of the meat made it feel like I was the one getting the deal. No more AYCEs for me. Have you ever been told not to come to a restaurant at dinner time to have a drink?! I was !!! Unfortunately I was 20min early for a massage at Massage Envy 2 doors down from this place. So I thought I would have a beer, and do some work before my appt. I even asked the waiter "can I just have a beer?Where should I sit I asked-at the end booth"-so I did. Got my beer, had to wave the waiter down to get my bill. Had my money ready ($22.82) and waited, waited and waited. Not wanting to be late for my 630p appt I took my cash to the register where an older "gentleman" said-don't come to have a drink during dinner hours." I couldn't believe my ears so I asked him to repeat himself, and he said the same thing. So I said- "ok-I won't come here. I won't come here even to eat. Look at all the open tables you have (1/2 a dozen)." I left saying "horrible customer service". $10.82 for a beer I didn't finish and 20min of sitting a booth = $2 a min to sit in their precious booth. Is there a neg 5 stars for customer service!!!! Yes-I was willing to leave a $2 dollar (20%) for a beer I didn't finish until I heard this man's attitude! He spoke perfect English. Apparently they only want you to go there to have $132 meal that feeds 2-4 people = $66 for 2 and $33 for 4. CAN you say "let me kill my business" w/this MAGNA NEGATIVE REVIEW, and I didn't even eat the food! I have always hesitated going into this establishment for fear of bad service which came to fruition today over a beer. This is the second review in 5yrs I've written on Yelp, and it was another Korean establishment where I spent $20 for a bowl w/a raw egg that I thought I was going to get salmonella from in Del Amo Mall which has since closed. They offered me a free meal. I stated "no thank you". Don't write reviews to get a free meal, write it warn people. My time is too precious! My dad was in town so I decided to treat him to Kbbq before his flight the next day. We were a party of 4 (including a child) and one combo was enough to feed all of us. I was a little bummed that we needed to pay extra for salad. The combo came with a tiny bowl of salad but definitely wasn't enough for everyone. Stews are also extra but portions are very small and maybe it was just a one-off but the soy bean stew was sadly too salty that evening. I will say that meat quality is great and servers were kind but service was extremely slow on a weeknight. There were only 4 tables occupied and it was hard tracking someone down just to get a bowl of rice or a side dish. I was a little disappointed considering we splurged that evening but again, it may have been one of those evenings. Maybe we'll have a different experience next time. read more

This place is very clean and everything inside is new. The convenience is also a big plus, seeing how it is the only Korean BBQ place on the peninsula. The steamed egg, and the seafood pancake was a really big hit with my kids. Definitely recommend. I've read some negative reviews about the owner here. The deed that will absolutely make us return, was that I dropped my ID before leaving. Later that night, the owner himself returned my ID to our house. I'm so happy they opened in PV! It's like our own Korean bbq in PV lol. I love love love everything we ordered, the prices are very very reasonable. They have really high quality meats and the banchan is bombbb. They have incredible TOGO bento boxes! It kinda reminds me of spoon in la that closed a while ago, it's like a lunch box with 10000 items. You have to order 4 at a time though. I def want to try to order that soon. Sigh... I understand that there are no Korean BBQs in Palos Verdes, so I was very excited hearing about this new spot. Food was honestly okay, not the best quality. H mart has better meat for a fraction of the price. However what got me was the service level was definitely not up to par compared to other Korean restaurants in Torrance, Gardena, Ktown, Orange county. We went for my father's birthday. We ate a full course meal and I had to step out with my wife to the car. My dad, being asian, paid for the bill without us knowing. As we got back to the table, we asked who seemed to be the owner of the establishment if we could order 2 Coke zeros. He basically rejected our request and said the check is already paid. Like its just two coke zeros.. coulda just gave it to us but just showed us that this establishment is more of a cash grab than a long term restaurant.
