The good: My 106 year old grandma wanted some Korean food so I ordered from here. I got kim chi fried rice, beef bulgogi, and chicken katsu all for delivery. The panko crumbs on the chicken was nice and light. It was perfectly fried and not too hard/over crispy. The meat was also juicy. My toddler ate 3 large pieces of it and kept complimenting how tasty it was. The kim chi fried rice had a great fried egg in it and had great flavor. Even the side of rice was delicious! It was moist and sticky without being overcooked. The bad: I didn't get to experience the food court dining in the grocery store. The interesting: The dishes came with a side salad with orange dressing, pickled yellow radish, and some citrus wedges. It was supposed to be a quick stop at HMart to get a couple of tomatoes, but predictably it became a full cart and an hour-long shopping event, and it went over into our lunch time. So we scoured its food court for a quick meal and found this stall with a large selection of Korean dishes. After browsing through their wall mount menu, we ordered the following dishes: A1 Galbi Tang: Do you like juicy pork ribs in clear broth? Then this dish is for you. It came with 2 huge pieces of super tender short rib simmered in a light but flavorful broth with some soft texture glass noodles. It also came with a small set of traditional Korean Banchan side dishes (with kimchi, preserved turnip and seaweed salad) and a bowl of steamed rice. A16 Hot Stone Bibimbap: This dish is for those who like veggies. Inside the hot stone bowl, there were lettuce, bean sprouts, carrots, turnips, mushrooms, and zucchini. Nicely arranged and topped with seaweed, fried egg, and slices of soft beef. On the bottom of the bowl, it had slightly burnt steam rice dabbed with sesame oil. Mixing them all together, it created a kaleidoscope of colors, and delicious blending of flavors and textures. This dish also came with one set of Banchan. Ordered via Door Dash during lunch. I had the chicken kalguksu and the plate of dumplings. The pulled noodles are fresh, the broth is delicious and savory. The banchans were really good but the amount given was skimping. The container of Kkakdugi had only 3 cubes swimming in the sauce. The dumplings on the menu states a "Plate" of dumpling so i expected steamed dumplings but I received dumplings in a savory soup. I added the dumplings w/the kalguksu and it tasted good in the broth. I usually get the mixed sullungtang because it has tripe which I enjoy, but if you don't like tripe, the beef sullungtang is great too. The food is amazing and I will come back for that. However, they are very short staffed and the Korean lady is unfriendly and overwhelmed the whole time. If you need extra utensils, she will ignore you as you wait at the counter for her to finish 10 things before she even addresses you. And if you ask for extra napkins, she will direct you to the scratchy paper towels at the water station. I'm not expecting great customer service, just decency and for her not to be so stingy over utensils. Last time she gave us one measly thin napkin. The food isn't exactly cheap. read more

This is the only food court I go to repeatedly for take out! They've always exceeded my expectations. For those who haven't been here before, the entrees shown on their menu is only a fraction of what you get. You'll see that they typically include an entire set of banchan, bowl of rice, and/or soup (depends on the entree). The entree itself is already pretty large on it's own. Whenever I get food from here, I'm always pleasantly reminded that the standard grocery bag they use for take out is typically at full capacity FOR ONE ENTREE. How does the food taste? Great! I keep coming back for a reason! My first picture is their galbitang. Sorry... I got too excited and started eating before taking the picture lol. They give you two gigantic beef ribs loaded with meat on them. They are packed in their own box while the soup broth is in it's own bowl as well. This is really really good and is one of my most ordered items. My wife got the chicken cutlet. It was also really good. I took a picture of it (see attached). My bite of this chicken was met with the following thought: "dang, I can get this type of chicken cutlet from Hansol? I don't have to drive all the way down to buena park for it anymore??" Over time their pricing has increased. There are days where I wonder if I should eat there nowadays. But I'm never disappointed when I see the amount of food I get from this place. My go to spot in this HMart food court! The prices are pretty average for this area and the portions are large. No matter the weather outside, I must get their galbitang. You order up at the register and just wait for their PA system to call out your number! All of their food comes out super piping hot and relatively consistent. My usual galbitang is always piping hot with 2-3 pieces of short rib. Sometimes it's a little bit on the saltier side, but not that bad.. especially if you're like me and can't finish so you pack half up to go! Their banchan is pretty good and the radish is where it's at. I've tried their sullungtang before, but I still love how their galbitang just heals me.. this place is a common go to for Korean food. I've been here over the years and they've expanded their menu since Covid. Their food and the portions have improved over the last few years. I really like their sullantang and the bibimbap. I see lots of locals ordering their rice dishes as well. This is a food court so once you walk in, you can see their large menu. You just go up to the cash register and order to dine in or take out. Even during meal time rush hours the wait isn't too long. their service is really fast and normally if people are missing anything or need any additional, the service ladies are very quick to handle the request. The place is pretty casual, but has a lively atmosphere because it's a food court and it's connected to H Mart grocery store. Many locals like to eat and then grocery shop or grocery shop and then eat in the food court. It's a popular place for groups of families and friends or even people that eat alone. they've expanded the seating area to have more tables, so normally we don't have issues looking for a table after we've ordered food. definitely recommend coming here if you'd like quick service for good Korean food. read more

Torrance Food Crawl #420 Hansol is one of three food restaurants in the H Mart food court. The menu has a nice selection of various Korean dishes. You can order takeout, but I see most people eating at one of the tables in the food court. There are the popular Beef Bulgogi and Bibimbap, but also many other Korean items that I'm not as familiar with. Banchan accompanies most items, and the pickled radish, jalapenos, kimchi, etc., are much appreciated. A back-handed compliment that I can give is that I see many Korean people as customers. I don't see them ordering just one popular choice but selecting a wide variety of items. The workers here have always been polite. If you don't want to buy a drink, there is a free water dispenser to the side. I will frequently shop in H Mart before I eat here and buy an iced tea or some other drink that I can later use with my meal in the food court. read more

Me and fellow co-worker ordered the fabulous Cold Buckwheat Noodles called Bibim NengMyun. You pay on the spot and an order receipt number is given immediately. Find an open table and seat and within 10-15minutes, your order will be called on a audio/speaker system and you'll be dining in a few minutes. Food from food court inside HMart, and it is surprisingly good! We've had their galbi tang, which was hearty and delicious with two big pieces of beef shanks. We also had their naeng-myun, the Korean cold noodle with broth, and it was surprisingly good. It's a little on the sweet side when you get the dish, but once you add mustard and vinegar to your liking, it is pretty darn good. It had pickled radish and a couple of beef pieces as well. It also came with a cup of warm beef broth, the traditional accompaniment for cold naeng-myun which I'm partial to. They have a pretty broad menu with lots of different dishes, and I can't wait to come back and try different items! Very convenient since I have to come shopping to HMart anyways. Hansol was pretty good but not notable for me. It's in the H-Mart food court. I got the soy garlic pork rib. My friend got beef bulgogi. For some reason my order came out way quicker than his which just felt odd. My food was pretty good, especially the banchan. The peppers were spicy with a kick and I enjoyed that. The pork was a bit heavy for my taste but not ultra flavorful. And I felt the rice portion was too small for the amount of meat. Also, both our orders came with what I can only describe as meat broth in a water cup. I wasn't sure if it was tea or what so I sipped it and it was like drinking salt water. It can definitely feed the two of us, but we don't eat too much normally. - Hot-Stone Bibimbap ($16.95) - Pretty large portion and very similar to other spots in the area. The bibimbap sauce was lacking flavor though, so it was just average. - Chicken Kalguksu ($17.95) - The silky chicken broth and the homemade handcut-noodles were very good. The actual chicken pieces were a little dry and overcooked, but the portion was very generous. It's a dish that is comforting to eat if you're feeling a little under the weather since it'll warm you up inside. Service is good, but there isn't much interaction besides ordering your food and then picking it up at the station when your number is called. We usually have enough time after ordering to walk around H-mart for 10-15 minutes before our food is ready. Overall, really enjoy this unassuming spot in the H-mart food court! There are some other food options there like Korean/Chinese food and bbq chicken, but we always see at least one or two parties enjoying Hansol's galbitang whenever we pass by. It is really hot so be careful. The rice gets crispy bits, which gives it some texture when you mix everything. The side dishes are so good. The Bibimbap was delicious. I definitely want to try their other dishes So many of the kids from school were in the food court. They kind of overtook many of the seating area with their groups. Very lively conversations.
