So, I've been getting take out from Kin Dee about once a week for over two years now. No kidding, I've probably been here 100 times. I am a creature of habit when it comes to food I like, so I almost always get the Pad Kee Mao with chicken. I'm not kidding when I say it is consistently one of the best dishes I've ever eaten. Like. Out of all foods I've eaten in my life. It is SO GOOD. My partner likes to get different things on the menu, and he always likes his food as well. I don't think you can go wrong. The portions are also very generous! One thing to be aware of is that there is some inconsistency with their spice levels. I like a lot of spice, but I don't want my mouth to feel like I swallowed a literal fireball. I used to order 3 stars (out of 5), and that was about as much spice as I could handle. Then one day, I got a dish that was so spicy I literally could only eat half of it and I had to stop. I've since gone down to 2 stars, and it seems to vary depending on the night. Sometimes it's mild and sometimes it's quite spicy. Anyway, just something to be aware of if you are sensitive to spice. read more

The atmosphere was pleasant, the food was excellent (Thai street food on the back of the menu was amazing), the service was very cheerful and helpful, their COVID precautions were great, not very busy for a weekend night, great price, large portions, etc. It was a great dining experience. I basically never leave reviews, but this place deserves it. They have an ad inside saying 10% off your bill for writing a review, but I didn't even make use of it. Ordered two dishes for take out and one of them was the wrong dish. When I called they said they couldn't do anything for me at the moment and that they would call me back which they never did. Eventually walked the 15 mins back to get refunded and they had the nerve to try to refund only the incorrect dish rather the whole order, even after the inconvenience. What's worse, the food was mediocre and overpriced. Will not be returning and am shocked to see this place has such a high rating. I guess people just don't know better. read more

Recently went here with my girlfriend after passing it numerous times and at first I was skeptical because it was very hidden and I actually think there is an apartment complex connected to the restaurant but nonetheless we tried it anyway. From outside, it looked very fancy with big glass windows to showcase the bar and multiple TV screens. However, while inside, it was smaller than I expected. The restaurant was clean and the bathroom smelled really good. Everything on the menu was pretty affordable. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken wings, a shrimp Kapow Kao Kruk, chicken Pad See Ew five stars, and a chicken Pad Thai. Let me just say, the food was delicious. The sweet and sour chicken had a nice crunch to it but once I bit into the wing the meat was so tender and juicy. My girlfriend got the pad see ew five stars and it was incredibly spicy but the kind that you can't stop eating because it was just that good. I also ordered a beverage and it came in a little cute jar. The service was good, they checked up on us several times to make sure that everything tasted alright and if we needed a refill. We needed a couple of boxes because we didn't finish our food and I believe it was the owner that took all of our food and boxed everything for us. But towards the end, it got very slow. We were just trying to pay but no one was coming to pick up our bill so we had to bring it to them. Other than that everything else was great. Solid place to go get some Thai food that's not overpriced. I will probably be coming back soon. read more

The portions were large, including lots of high quality protein, the seasoning was delicious and nuanced, and there were lots of little high end touches (ex: the prawns in the soup were grilled perfectly , not boiled into chewy mess). For such high quality and quantity, the prices are quite reasonable. I hope this place makes it because it's great to have such good quality so close. JFYI, since this isn't the usual slop, you may be confused by the curries-- instead of drowning minimal quantities of low quality meat in oversweetened sauce, expect lots of on the bone meat with just the right amount of curry sauce to make it sing. The quality was on par with Pestle Stone in Ballard, but I don't have to drive across town to get it. read more

I shared the pad see ew and the pad Thai. The pad see ew was terrific, not too greasy and so flavorful. The pad Thai was good too, but was too spicy for choosing a spice level of 2 out of 5. There was some great drink deals and we each got a $5 IPA. Overall highly recommend this place since the food was good, servings were large, and the prices were reasonable. I wish I could rate as a 4.5 star, and decided on 4 due to the pad thai being spicier than what I would normally expect for the spice choice and also since beef wasn't a meat option for the dishes. read more

We went here for our 20th wedding anniversary, and it was a great experience! The waitress help us pick out our cocktails and food, and the food did not disappoint. We had the Thai Papaya Salad, Salmon Sushi style and Golden Basket. We also had the Pork Dry Noodles. The drinks were well thought out and delicious. The interior is gorgeous and very clean. Seriously subpar Thai food. There were 6 of us eating and everyone's food had something off with it...too salty (pad see ew), too bland (kao mun gai), and too dry (pad thai). I'm not one to complain much but given the plethora of quality Thai food in Seattle this place is definitely worth passing up. OMG. So happy to find this Thai restaurant. Let me start by saying unfortunately Seattle does not have the best Thai restaurants. I just love Thai food so much I put up with it. Well Thank God I found Kin Dee I live close to their restaurant and decided to try it out. Let me start by saying the restaurant is extremely CLEAN and I love that. They have an open kitchen and you can see them prepare your food. Now to the food I ordered the Pad Thai it was a solid 10 out of 10; the noodles so fresh and the prawns were equally fresh. This is a lovely new place. Very friendly staff and delicious food. The best part is thier sauces, really deep favor, very tasty. The restaurant is small but nice, on a busy corner but not noisy. No kids menu when I was there during soft opening, but they had high chairs and booster seats. I hope to go again soon read more

I don't know who these people are that rated it 4 star and higher but they clearly do not know anything about Thai food. This place was lackluster at best. We ordered 3 star and it had zero spice. The bags of gold were decent, chicken wings were terrible, fried pork belly was meh, and the pad Thai was ok but again no spice. They put my hot sake in the microwave and killed all the alcohol in it. The electric butterfly cocktail was pretty good. I would absolutely not come back, which is a shame because I was really hoping it would live up to the hype. If you want amazing Thai go to Sea Thai in Wallingford or Buddha Ruska in West Seattle (the best in my opinion). read more
