Not the best Thai restaurant in Escondido but decent. Too many times have I brought home togos and it was luke warm (I live 5min away). The noodles often are stuck in one big clump or the flat noodles are one thick strip, not separated out as they should. I ordered Uber eats last time and what I received was 2/3rds of the portion. Not sure if it was close to closing time and they shorted me or if the driver took some off the top. I wouldn't know bc they didn't tape, staple or attempt to assure no one opens your order. This is a covid takeout review: Very affordable and delicious. I ordered the pad thai noodles and tom yum soup. The portions are really good. I was surprised at how much soup I got for a bowl size. It was a lot! Their thai tea is really good too. The quality was to par as well. I can't wait to try more of their menu! The women working here are so sweet as well. This location is closed on Sunday and I thought I'd be ordering from here but it came from the San Marcos location which isn't nearly as good. Only the red curry is good here in my opinion. The beef salad was very sparse on all that goes into that salad. The dressing was average. The pad Thai with Shrimp and the pork fried rice, all with a 3 heat was lackluster in flavor.The chicken in the panang I got was very sparse as well and was not a quality chicken texture. This is my go-to Thai Food spot whenever I visit my family in Escondido. I ALWAYS get the Thai Yellow Curry, it just bursts with flavor. The curries always come with a side of rice but if you're like me and love to eat rice, you may want to order another side of rice (small portion). Great place! I love Thai food but its hard to find places that are consistent with quality. I've been here twice in the last week and both times it has been fantastic. The chicken pad see ew is delicious! The noodles are perfectly cooked and the vegetables are nice and crisp. The flavor is over the top delicious, the heat level is perfect (I request a 6). They have a lunch special on this dish from 11am-2pm which comes with eggrolls. The service both times have been great. The lady at the front is really nice and helpful. As the name suggest its an express version of Kinaly Thai. The food is still as good, the main difference is the location and staff. While the original place had a large eating area and lots of friendly staff, this place doesn't. It trades out the traditional restaurant for a taco shop inspired setup where you order and go pick up your food. Honestly, I'm a fan of this setup, it is a fast way to get lunch and it's in a relatively central location. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the price. The price is the same as the restaurant prices, even though they don't have wait staff, they don't have the same condiments or plates, and they have far less square-footage to worry about. Honestly, I am a big fan of the idea of this place, but it seems as though they have a few more kinks to work out. read more

Food is wonderful! Especially their curries. The service is fast and personable. The place is very clean. You don't have to wait long for your food, they're quick to serve up hot, delicious dishes. Takeout foods are packed well for transporting. There is also seating for dining in, but not much ambiance. So far we've tried every curry, and we LOVE them all. So much so that we go almost every week to pick up a few curries. Other dishes I've tried: Drunken Noodles* (with beef), Tom Kha Soup, Pad Thai, Spring Rolls, stir fried veggies. Liked all except the stir fried veggies -- what sauce they have (is it a sauce?) is really bland. The Tom Kha with tofu and veggies, was too plain for me (just coconut milk, mushrooms, and tofu with cilantro garnish), but I spiced it up with some chili garlic sauce and enjoyed it. Would not order it again, but for people who are looking for something mild and creamy, it's a good choice. I'll update whenever I try something new. (*My favorite). read more

A hidden gem in the Vons shopping center!!! Food was too delicious to remember to take a photo. My husband and I were feeling too lazy to cook on a Friday night, so I went to Yelp to see what was nearby. We are relatively new to the area, so are trying most restaurants to support them and try our favorites. Kinaly Thai has a phone ordering system for to-go orders. The phone was answered right away and I was told the order would be ready within 15-20 minutes. 15 minutes later, I showed up and it was ready to go! The food was well packaged and made it safely home before we dug in. We ordered level 6 for the pad thai and red curry, and it was the perfect level for those that like spice while still wanting to enjoy the flavor of their food.
