Visited Kinaly Thai Express on my lunch at break from work. Called in the my order and it was ready roughly ten minutes after I had called. The restaurant was very updated and clean. For my order I purchased the veggie and tofu soup togo, typically whenever I get Thai food I always order the soup because they're so flavorful. The veggie and tofu soup wouldn't be something I recommend here. Just a very basic and somewhat flavorless broth and some large veggies floating in it. You can tell it wasn't cooked together as there was little to no flavor. I wouldn't pay again for that. Although my coworkers have placed orders here and have enjoyed the food so I'm sure I'll try it again and just skip the soup it's a waste. I'll update this review once I've tried other menu items. read more

Today was my first trip to this location. I am a regular at the other location and so I was excited to try this place out. I love that the menu is condensed but still covers a large variety of options and there is something for everyone. I went with my usual and got beef pad se ew with zero spice. My dad ordered the stir fry veggies with spice level 1. My dish was good however there were a few pieces of. Broccoli that were cold which was a bit odd but not a huge deal as the rest of my dish was nice and hot. My dad said his dish had a kick and he liked it, they gave him a generous serving of white rice to go with it. I also was able to check in and receive a free Thai ice tea and that was very nice. This is a good location for take out or if you are just looking for something quick while your on the go. I will definitely be trying this place again! read more

This is a solid place to get Thai. I usually order the red curry with chicken. I make sure to let them know not too spicy though cause even though I'm part Latina and am used to hot, I find myself still panting from Spicy Thai food because sometimes it's too hot, even for me. So as long as I let them know then it is just perfect! My husband normally orders the Pad sew ew with chicken and he likes it pretty well. The only thing that I wish they had was sweet sticky rice with mango for dessert. All the other Thai places seem to have it and I'm very sad that I can't get it here. It has made me order from other places cause I like to finish off my dinner with this wonderful dessert. If they had it I would come here much more often. read more

My family usually orders Thai food in the Convoy area and we usually don't venture locally here in Escondido (even though we live here). But we looked at the reviews and decided to give it a shot. We were so pleasantly surprised at the flavor and quality of the food! Drunken Noodle, Pad Thai and the Massaman Curry are our favorites. Plus the Thai Iced Tea hit the spot (yum!). Was not a fan of the crab fried rice, but the Thai fried rice with chicken was excellent. Pick up orders have been ready on time and the customer service has been great! read more

You would expect restaurants which shared the same name to have food which tastes the same, but in this case you would be wrong! The original Kinaly location in North County is located in San Marcos. It was amazing! All the food had a taste which was unique to Kinaly, and I would order from there at least once a week, but a few years ago it all changed- it now tastes generic, plain, and I stopped ordering there after many disappointing meals. This location, the 'express' version, opened up around the same time as the other location went downhill. I thought maybe they went corporate and all the locations would have the same problem- cheaper ingredients and cheaper taste. I was wrong! This location is the original Kinaly. The taste of everything is exactly as I remembered! The spices and flavors are exciting and every order has been amazing. I cannot stress enough how much better this location's food is than the San Marcos one. This is the place to get Thai food in North County! read more

Friendly, fresh and delicious Thai. Seating is limited but they do serve up many to go orders so there shouldn't be too much of a seating issue. Place is immaculate. I ordered the chicken satay. I thought the flavors were good and the portion size satisfactory but I wouldn't order it next time. The curry dish with chicken and shrimp was excellent. It was served in what appeared to be a to go style container which makes it convenient for taking home leftovers. The spice level was just right too. This new restaurant should not have orange chicken on the menu. My husband ordered the orange chicken and when he opened the container thought they got his order wrong. What was supposed to be orange chicken look like 2 inch rounds of dough. The dough was thick and ratio to chicken was absurd. There's was 10x more dough then chicken. It was disgusting! The garlic pepper beef was such a small portion they added a lot of lettuce to the container to make it seem like you were getting a lot of meat. The yellow curry was ok. Quick and easy service. I stopped in for my lunch break since I work a few doors down and I got my lunch within 10 mins. I ordered a beef salad. The vegetables were crisp and extremely fresh. Well, i work at the IHOP across the lot from this restraunt, after i clock out i love going here just to cool down and get a drink, the boba and blended drinks they serve are amazing! the food is cook right there and tastes amazing! The overall mood of the place is a calmer, and quiet place with some low music in the background, i would definatly recommend this to anyone who is wanting to just have a calmer quiet meal time, definatly a great getaway from the screaming kids, stress, and the effects of underemployment at the end of the day!
