I came here on a recommendation from a friend, and it was the best recommendation I received! The decorations are that of an old-school Italian pizzeria with the friendliest staff I have ever had the pleasure to be served by. From the moment you walk in they treat you like they have known you for years. The whole restaurant sang happy birthday for one of the waitress's birthdays, and the customers in the restaurant were offered a piece of cake to join in on the celebration. The staff are like a family and everyone checks on each other's tables and makes recommendations for dishes on the menu. We had the meatballs that were delicious and great sauce for dunking bread into afterward. The pizza was very thin crust, like a cracker, and it was cut in smaller slices. I really liked their spin with using ricotta cheese. Not at all toasted ravs do that but I will say the dipping sauce mediocre at best. Would recommend if they used a meat sauce. A true institution. You come here for the pizza continually and get something else off the menu sometimes. Service, location and vibes are great. Has a bar so can grab a drink. This place fills up fast during busy times, so always plan ahead. Things like burgers and chicken fingers are fine, but the pizza makes this place a constant 10/10... with the pizza being 11/10! Nothing like this thin slice around here and it's an absolute work of art. P.s. Dont get bacon on the pizza though as its shitty long strips of bacon, nothings good. Problem is that because it's so thin it was a bit soggy and hard to pick off the pan but they compensate for it by cutting up the pizza into smaller slices. Toppings were generous and appropriately cooked, meaning it's neither over or under cooked. The pizza has no discernible edge crust which I like. The service was prompt and friendly. During this pandemic we have been going to different pizza places and having what we call a parking lot pizza party. I also ordered the calamari, it was ok not the best I've had but it still satisfied. Oh! I can't forget, I ordered a drink, margarita on the rocks ..I don't know who made it but it was really good! Can't do an unbiased review on this one because I'm a kinchley kid by adoption but will try my best. The welcome from the staff working the place was amazing and they made us feel even more at home while we went around taking photos of possible long lost relatives and anything with kinchley on it. I split a large sausage, mushroom and onion with my dad after splitting a house salad. I was curious how the onions would be since they looked barely cooked but the sweet and spicy taste went well with the sausage and the deep umami of the mushrooms. The flavors were great but the winner was the crispy crunch of the thin crust which made you believe you could possibly grab another piece or three. It's not like they need any more business since the place was apparently packed during meal times but luckily we went mid afternoon. We will be going back to the west coast but may try their new delivery of frozen pizza pies. read more

They have a full menu...but we love their pizza. They are also very generous with their pizza toppings. Staff is quick and attentive. A few things to take note: they get super busy. Get there early!! They have plenty of parking. They have a full bar so you can grab a beer while you wait for a table or eat at the bar if your lucky to grab a few seats. No matter what...it's worth the wait! And be sure to order more than one pie(we order 3 so we have some to take home)! Alright, 201 magazine named Kinchley's the best pizza in Bergen County. Nellies in Waldwick was a runner up. So we headed out to try both tonight. We got the signature 14" bar pie and a small Kreme Spinach pie. Let's start with the bar pie. This is the kind of pie that I could easily put 10 away while watching the Mets beat up on the Phillies. The crust isn't even in the same league as most pizza joints. Any pizza person knows, the crust will make or break a pie. This crust is in a league of its own. Sauce was slightly above average and the cheese took it home. Now for the showstopper. The Kreme Spinach pie was insane. Granted, you have to obviously be a fan of creamed spinach. If you are..... Oh my God!! I've never had anything like this. It was absolutely delicious. Creamy, mixed with cheese and then that crust!!! Fughettaboutit. The staff was excellent. Extremely attentive and on their game. It was a decent drive but this is a place I would definitely go back to so I can explore their menu further. read more

I have tried this place several times and sorry to say it's horrible. I understand that generations have been coming here and it's tradition for some but the food is not good. I recently went back to try it again and myself and dining companion both had sandwich's. They were not only pathetic, but two days later I can still taste the grease they were friend in. This tells me the oil is sketchy and hasn't been changed. We both had parmigiana sandwich's, the chicken looked like a lonely chicken finger on a roll where the cheese was melted so much it was only dripping down sides of the bread. there are way better pizza places to go and start new traditions. read more

The water glasses are no bigger than a breakfast juice glass. Finally flagged the waiter down for a refill while he was flying by. Funny how he was ticked off and rolled his eyes... Today, I'm waiting 30 minutes for my pizza-while 4 tables, seated after us-got theirs. When we alerted the waiter, he provided some timing explanation ( that history and experience in this establishment, tells us is nonesense) When we finally get the pizza, it was not made correctly (half sausage instead of the half mini-meatball we ordered).
