Super cool coffee shop in an amazing location! Drinks/Food: got the Kind Latte. It is made with a Cubano shot (when you put sugar on top of the espresso before you pull the shot). The drink was good, but nothing too special. It was smooth, and subtly sweet, but I think that it was perhaps washed out by the steamed milk. If I were to do it again, I'd either get a smaller size, or more shots that way the espresso could shine more. Overall 4/5 I also got the Açaí Bowl and it was super delicious! The crunchy granola mixed perfectly with the smoothness of the açaí. The drizzle of honey on top added the perfect amount of sweetness without going overboard. Unfortunately, the bowl was a bit runny and hard to enjoy on the go. 4/5 just because of how runny it was. Baristas: The staff was very friendly and helped us to pick out items that they say the locals enjoy. We did mess up a part on our order and they seemed a bit frustrated to have to remake it, however they covered it well and kept their cool. 4/5 Atmosphere: This right here was the best part! The shop itself is very cozy and fun to be in. However, the true gem was the stream outside. Right outside the shop is a stream running along a trail. The shop has set out several chairs for its customers to enjoy. I couldn't ask for a better place to sip my coffee than in the mountains at sunrise with a stream running right past me. 6/5, I would definitely visit again just for the atmosphere read more

What a cute little spot in Estes Park. We stopped in for pre-hike coffee and burritos and left full and caffeinated. Warm and welcoming and located on the edge of town, this place has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The prices are super reasonable and our burritos were delicious and very filling. With only 3 breakfast places open in Estes Park before 7am, us and all the other early hikers were here to fill up on breakfast burritos, breakfast beverages and snacks for their trip. Their burritos are tasty & filling ( A Good Thing ) but was messy and oily to eat ( Not A Good Thing ). Their sherpa spiced chai could have been even more spicy, but otherwise blended well. Wow! Definitely my favorite place to snag coffee in Estes Parks. I ordered the s'mores which I was a bit worried about it being way too throat clenching sweet, but seeing the good reviews and long line made me have faith and I'm so glad I did! It had the perfect amount of sweetness and it was very tasty. Definitely tasted like s'mores. AWESOME coffee shop!! I love exploring coffee shops wherever I travel and I think this may be my favorite one to date. I ordered a mocha and a sausage egg and cheese on a croissant. I loved that they have the option to serve in a regular mug and I was able to take my mug of mocha and sandwich to the outside seating where I ate breakfast by the creek! The mocha was delicious (not too sweet which I liked) and the sandwich was amazing. Sitting outside by the creek was an awesome experience as well and they had a ton of seating outside. Honestly, the coffee was average at best. Pair that with the barista's being jerks and I'll pass on this place. I had just had a conversation with my kids in the car about Starbucks versus local coffee shops and when I went in to Kind to order I inadvertently said "venti". The barista responded with a look of disdain and a tremendous amount of attitude and said "what is that, like a medium?" I apologized and laughed a bit and said "large please". His rebuttal, "only freedom units here" and then glared at me as his fellow barista laughed. I'll take day old diner coffee from the middle of nowhere over ordering from this place again. read more

A great local coffee shop! The chai and chai rona were delicious and so were the baked goods. They had unique fun flavors for coffee/ teas and offered smoothies, milkshakes, burritos, toasts and oatmeal/ açaí bowls. They also sold cute merchandise. We were in Estes Park for 5 days and ate at Kind Coffee twice. Would have been more if we had found it sooner. Love the vibe and the food. Day 1 I had avocado bacon brioche toast. Fresh with a perfect hint of spice. Loved it. My daughter had bagel with herb cream cheese and raved about how bagel was perfectly toasted. Returned next day with rest of fam and we all had bagels. I am in love with this coffee shop!!! Everything about this place is wonderful. The people who work here are fantastic and make you feel so welcome! And they are very helpful and know the menu well - they helped my friends and I pick out drinks. I got the Avalanche latte; a white mocha with raspberry and I got it with oat milk - so good! It was perfect after a day of hiking! They use a delicious 5-bean blend for their espresso. They have great looking pastries and food - I tried to poppyseed almond bread and it was DELISH. And they have plenty of other fun drinks besides coffee! The atmosphere is calm and it's a great place to hang out and have conversation, read a good book, or get some work done! There are plenty of windows looking out to the mountains which lets in plenty of natural light. This place is also bigger than you think - there is plenty of seating! They have beautiful artwork all around the shop that you can buy - a lot of mountain paintings. They have whole bean coffee you can buy and they even have a grinder in the shop! And they have adorable mugs, water bottles, stickers, and other gifts and accessories! They even have adorable handcrafted cards! My friends and I also met the owner of this place and she was seriously so lovely! She talked to us for a good long while and meeting her made me want to support this business even more! Last time i visited Estes i came here - three times. The coffee drinks are fabulous! My husband tried the house drip coffee and also had a frozen coffee milkshake drink that was quite delicious on a warm afternoon. I personally do not recall what i had because i always switch up my latte (coffee or tea). All were good though! The best part about this place is it's location by the river. If you go early morning - you can catch the local elk walking right by the windows to enjoy a morning salad of river shrubbery. So beautiful! If you want the views though, a seat may be hard to come by on a busy touristy afternoon. Parking is tough - but that's the same response for any downtown Estes business. I had the oatmeal one morning and it was too thick -- i think that and limited seating if you don't go in the early morning are my only complaints. As a long time coffee shop enjoyer and barista, local coffee shops are one of my favorite places to visit. While my husband and I were strolling around town I forced him to rush with me to Kind Coffee before they closed- it had been on my list each time we've been to Estes and we finally made it! Despite arriving only 15 minutes before closing time there was a line and the crew working was exceptionally friendly. The queue is wrapped around displays of adorable merchandise ranging from hats to wallets to tumblers, much of it kindness themed. I asked the friendly and engaging barista about the s'mores latte, worried that it would be too sweet but took her recommendation. The baristas quickly got our drinks out and the s'mores was delicious! It's mildly sweet and the cinnamon flavor certainly stands out in the best way!
