Amazing location right by the river and next to downtown Estes Park. Beautiful interior with local art on the wall for sale. Friendly baristas. The toasted bagel sandwiches were amazing. The Narrows sandwich with the jalapeño cheddar bagel was great. Smoothies were fresh and delicious. Nothing was bad and we were all fully satisfied. Go here for a smoothie or coffee drink, or even a sandwich for lunch/breakfast!

Kind Coffee in Estes Park is truly one of those places that makes your day a little brighter the moment you walk in. Their drinks are consistently incredible and their bagels are honestly some of the best I have ever had. Every time I visit, my go to order is an iced vanilla chai paired with one of their fresh bagels and it is the perfect combination. The flavors are always spot on and everything tastes so fresh, like it was made with real care. One of the things I love most is how fast their service is. Even when the line stretches all the way out the door, they keep everything moving smoothly without ever making you feel rushed. The staff is beyond friendly too. They greet you with genuine smiles, remember regulars, and really give off that warm, small town kindness that makes the experience feel extra special. The location itself is another reason this place stands out. It sits right along the river, so whether you are grabbing your drink to go or sitting outside for a bit, the atmosphere is always peaceful and so charming. You can hear the water, enjoy the view, and just relax for a moment. It is the kind of place you want to come back to every morning. If you find yourself in Estes Park, do yourself a favor and stop by Kind Coffee. It is everything you want in a local coffee shop and more.

Stopped in for a coffee and quick lunch and was not disappointed! Their summer menu is great and their bagels were soft and all the flavors worked so well together! The cashier was helpful in walking us through everything and this place was great for a quick bit or a meeting!

Such a great coffee place and don't be intimidated by the line it moves quick!! They have great seating indoor and outdoor and it's a perfect place to stop on the way to a hike or on your way out of town. I got their pumpkin spice latte and bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant. Delish! Super simple and yummy. It's an adorable place and a must stop

It's a really cute spot that clearly promotes kindness in Estes Park. It shares a small parking spot with a handful of stores, but there is plenty of seating available. If you have a chance to walk to the store, I'd recommend you walk. The interior is clean with some seats and merch available. It looks like some of the sales from the merch goes towards discouraging bullying which seemed like a unique concept. The employees were also very polite and kept up the theme of serving coffee with kindness. Outside, there's plenty of seating and a nice river to walk by as well. I would gladly spend some time walking around here. The coffee here was good. The only reason why I'm a little bitter with my rating is the lack of coffee that was given with my coffee. I had a hot latte and there was a lot of room towards the top. It's like someone robbed me of a quarter of my coffee. The amount of coffee provided per person seemed inconsistent in my group, so this statement seems justified. Aside from the serving amount, this is a place I'd like to walk around or read a book in.

Kind coffee is an excellent spot in downtown Estes park!! I only gave 2 stars because there's another place with even more variety that I consider my favorite spot, but this place has excellent vibes and lots of windows/light and tables so it's a nice place to hang around. I had the blueberry cobbler house latte and it was smooth and sweet! The base is blueberry and brown sugar; I will say the blueberry flavor wasn't terribly strong, but blueberry usually isn't so I still enjoyed the drink. They'd recommended it iced so that's the way I got it. I would recommend it if you're in the area and want a solid, standard coffee and a nice, well lit place to sit!

Great little coffee shop to grab a coffee and a light snack/lunch option as you get into town. Has a dedicated free parking lot (small, most likely not useful during tourist season). The free EP visitor center parking is just steps away. Our food was good, service served with a side of smiles, ambience is relaxed and welcoming.

Highly recommend checking this place out when in Estes Park! The menu is full of amazing sounding coffee and tea options. It was hard to pick just one! I ended up ordering an iced Maple leaf matcha. It is so good! Service is super kind, and the barista gave great recommendations. Such a cozy and aesthetic cafe. Bright and scenic views out the big windows. Take your drink and go sit outside by the creek for really elevate the experience. Can't wait to try again!

Absolutely loved this coffee shop right on the river walk - I highly recommend starting your day here! They have unique and delicious drinks and a decent breakfast menu for a small shop. The vibe is very hipster and young, I wanted a lot of what they offered for merchandise too! Service took a bit because they had a large mobile order right before us. I had a cold brew with coconut and skim milk - was delicious and bold but not too sweet. I definitely recommend getting a breakfast sandwich here, the Narrows was unique and so tasty.

Wow, what a location. A running river in the back and yummy drinks in the front. I loved browsing the trinkets while I waited for my order. I got an Arnold Palmer with mango flavoring, it was so refreshing on a sunny warm day. I also picked out a bag of beans as a gift, the bags aren't labeled between ground and whole, so the barista made sure to check with me which one I preferred, which was appreciated. I enjoyed my drink while watching the water run.

Dropped in 3 times during my stay at Rocky Mountain National Park. It's located in a tiny parking lot, but the outdoor seating area is big with a view of the river. It was a very nice treat during my stay in Estes Park! I'm looking forward to going back. read more

Kind Coffee is quite the establishment in downtown Estes Park! You will see all the locals spending many hours sipping their brews in this light, airy, and whimsical coffee spot! The energy is good and the experience is friendly. No one judged me for using SOY in my latte , or the fact I got a GIANT cookie for breakfast. This place lives up to its name. Super friendly staff and great food/espresso. I was unsure of what to order and the barista was super helpful in finding the right breakfast for me. I ended up with the avo toast and was more than pleased. It was the perfect balance between healthy and tasty. I will always come back here whenever I'm in town. The only mild negative is there is no indoor seating currently and I wanted to work from the shop today. There is outdoor seating but everything was soaked when I was there at 7am (for obvious reasons). This isn't their normal situation, so I can't fault them for that. 10/10 read more

The staff was very passive aggressive, upon giving us a very watered down drink we asked to exchange it for a different drink equal in price and they were very snarky about their response. The ratings here are over rated. The business should be named "Not Kind Coffee". read more

Got the Keyhole (bacon, egg, and cheese) and the Diamond (sausage, egg, and cheese) both on everything bagels. They were tasty but were lacking something, maybe like a schmear because the sandwiches were pretty dry. The bagels were not very good either. The texture was weird and not very tasty themselves. My everything bagel barely had any everything seeds on it. Also, the sausage was not very good quality, get the Keyhole instead. I do gotta say, it was really nice to eat them by the creek. A great local spot with some awesome seasonal latte flavors! If you want a peaceful place to work, read a book, or enjoy the morning this is your spot. Plenty of seating (rocking chairs too!). They also have a lot of cute trinkets and cards if you are looking for a gift or post card for someone. The Centennial Latte and Chai Cider are delicious. read more

Such a cute coffee shop right by the river! I stopped here for a caffeine boost and a quick bite to eat before hiking at RMNP. Highly recommend the lavender latte! The flavor was noticeable but not overpowering, and not too sweet. The salmon sandwich on a bagel was great as well. read more

I stopped by Kind Coffee when I was on a trip to Colorado and camping at RMNP. This small coffee shop just blew me away! I ended up getting a bag of their coffee, a cold brew, and their salmon bagel sandwich. I thought their salmon bagel was the star of my order! Usually places put small amounts of salmon, but Kind packed it! From the first bite it was good quality salmon, and one of the best salmon bagel sandwiches I've had. I'm also very happy that I'm still able to order their coffee online to be shipped to me when I can't get it straight from the store. I will definitely be back if I'm ever in Estes Park again! read more

Kind Coffee is a cute cafe that I had the pleasure to visit during my stay in Estes Park. It is clearly a local favorite as the customers in line were chatting with the baristas and updating each other on their lives. The cafe is small with a cozy dining area in the back, but that doesn't make a big difference in this pandemic, as most patrons just grabs and goes anyway. They have a variety of espresso drinks with a limited selection of breakfast options. I went with my usual cappuccino with a breakfast burrito and enjoyed both of them on the bench in the back. There are several park benches along the creek and a few sculpture/art pieces to enjoy if you choose to walk around with your drink. It appears that they also have a fun selection of ice cream, but it wasn't available when I visited in November. I'd probably be a frequent visitor if I lived in the area. read more

In search of place that's open early for breakfast we found Kind Coffee. The name really does represent well the moment you walk into the shop. Atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. They offer wide variety of drinks including kombucha. They also have a very good menu that includes choices for any preference including vegan. Huge side windows open up to incredible view of the creek that passes through the town itself. If you feel like sitting outside and enjoying your morning coffee next to the water - there's seating available for that as well. Coffee was very tasty, everyone was friendly and helpful. Wish every coffee shop was just as wonderful as Kind Coffee is. read more

This is a split review. The coffee is 4 star, kind of sweet but great flavor. The good review stops there. I wish kind coffee lived up to its name. I am a military man so I have a distinct haircut. We come to Estes park for our anniversary each year. We have come to kind coffee many times, but not any more. Each time we walk into the store, yesterday before I even got into the store, the baristas go from smiles, see me, to glares. The first time I thought it was coincidental, but now after a few visits, it is every time. My wife gets smiles, until they see her with me. I am a large tipper, I have always been polite, not sure what to attribute it too. Maybe I have a punchable face! We tried Inkwell this morning and will use them from now on. Less sugar and no shitty attitude. Kind coffee workers need to take a look at their coffee shops name. They are failing. read more

My sister and I stopped here on our last day in Estes Park and fell in love too late. We ordered the s'mores hot and the espresso shake. The s'mores was even better than I thought it would be. It is so flavorful and the coffee they use is delicious. The espresso mocha shake was phenomenal, so creamy and the perfect blend of chocolate and espresso. It is a small shop and there was no indoor seating at the time due to covid, but they have lovely knick knacks to buy and an outdoor seating area. Definitely worth stopping here if you need a caffeine fix before exploring the Rockies! read more

Cute locally owned and operated with the best place to sit and enjoy a cup! A nice grass area, tallness and ranches along concrete path right next to the stream! If you want coffee, this is a must see. Needed some coffee before some hiking. This place was close to my motel. I am so glad it was and that I saw it. I ordered a Kind Latte (they add a little sugar and cinnamon to the espresso shot pull) with oat milk. It was very good. Not too sweet, great coffee taste. I loved it and will go back! read more

What an amazing find! The coffee was so good, we had to buy beans to bring back home as a souvenir. Everyone was really friendly and we managed to snag some cinnamon rolls before they sold out. It was our go-to coffee spot during our stay in Estes and as a special bonus we got to see some elk outside crossing the creek right on the side of the shop. Thankfully they have a huge glass window that made it easy to safely watch. read more

Amazing coffee with a killer view! We ordered the Kind Latte and stepped outside while we waited for it to be made. To our surprise, the river rushes right behind the establishment. It was so beautiful and a perfect setting to enjoy our drinks. There are also a lot of accessories and souvenirs for sale that are really cute and appropriate for the area. Nothing really cheap or cheesy. This is definitely a locals spot, as we observed a group of older gentlemen having what looked like a men's coffee, a police officer came in and knew everyone, and a young woman that works for the NPS stopped by for her brew. Love this little place. Highly recommend! read more

My husband and I stopped by Kind Coffee on our way from Denver to the Rocky Mountain National Park for a quick breakfast and some coffee before our hike. I ordered the narrows breakfast sandwich which had avocado, herb cream cheese and egg. It was a very good light meal before the hike. My hubby ordered the oatmeal and he really liked it too. We also both got lattes (they make all their lattes with 2% milk) and they were wonderfully delicious. I think the location is the best part about this cafe, it over looks a beautiful river. They have lots of seating outside that faces the river too, I highly recommend! read more

We consider it our mission to provide customers the opportunity to positively impact the planet through the purchase of our high quality roasts. Each bean that comes out of our roastery is chemical free, fairly traded, shade grown, certified organic, Swiss Water decaffeinated, good for you and the environment. In other words, Kind is what coffee should be. Kind's intent extends beyond a profit, attempting to reach the consumer's principles, perhaps enticing other businesses to do the same. It definitely did not disappoint. The coffee is top notch, an A+ in my book...and the speed at which they make it is also on point. I almost took away a star because during one visit they skipped forward through a Journey song, which is definitely a no-no for me, but I decided to let it slide... for now. They have a great selection of specialty lattes, and the deck ambience is hard to beat. You can feed the ducks, spot some deer, and just enjoy the wildlife along the river while you sip your coffee. We have for sure found our new coffee spot for our Estes Park visits going forward.

I would've prefered the pizza to be cooked for another minute in the oven personally, but that's not a knock on them. It desperately needed salt. In the dough and on the tomatoes. The tomatoes slid right off every time I tried to take a bite. It was just severely under-seasoned and really didn't have any flavor at all. I would actually come back here because I do like restaurant concepts like these that offer different experiences throughout the day. A great place to hang out and recharge. A sweet, fruity blend of ingredients. She brewed it right then and there. The owner is very knowledgeable of her products, real friendly and welcoming just like this whole town. Most of the top teas add a hint of Rocky Mountain flare to then; they include some ingredients that are associated with these mountains. Prices are great, the service was top notch, and this has to be the best tea shop in town. You are able to purchase tea by the bag as gifts. Next time I'm in Estes Park, I'll be coming back here.

If you're lucky, snag a stool right along the Big Thompson River! Though, I recommend they fix the wooden placeholders for beers, they're leaning on the wrong side of history, we don't want any full glasses of beer reaching an unnecessary demise! Interference IPA * American IPA * 6.7% * 16oz ($7) From their website: "Climbing the Interference Boulder in Rocky Mountain National Park requires strength and power. This Colorado IPA showcases the power of hops with an intense blend forging citrus aromas with a pine forward finish. Featured ingredients: Cascade, El Dorado, Mosaic, Chinook, & Simcoe hops * Recommended adventure: hiking Black Lake, climbing the Twin Owls, skiing upper Hidden Valley." A perfectly apt description. Fortunately, we live only an hour away so we can go back. If you are looking to maximize your time in Estes I would not recommend Notchtop. Plenty of other options in Estes.

Nestled by the riverside walking path, this coffee shop boasts a picturesque location that promises a serene and refreshing atmosphere. Eager to explore their offerings, my friend and I opted for the Kind Latte. However, our patience was tested as it took over 25 minutes to prepare, understandable given the bustling activity within the shop. The latte itself was a mixed experience. It leaned towards the less sweet side and unfortunately lacked the robust flavor we had hoped for. While not disappointing, it didn't quite leave a lasting impression. Regrettably, the overall encounter fell into the realm of mediocrity. As an advocate for supporting local coffee shops, it's disappointing to note that this particular visit didn't meet the expectations. The investment in both time and money didn't align with the experience delivered. The toasted bagels with cream cheese, while decent, weren't exceptional either. In light of our underwhelming encounter, we chose not to revisit for the remainder of our stay in Estes. However, it wasn't an entirely forgettable experience, as I did find solace in purchasing some beautifully crafted stickers. The coffee is ok, but the service is really bad. We visited here several times on our trip to Estes Park and the staff was very unfriendly. My husband ordered a coffee and a lady went up and grabbed his, took a sip, and then said to the employee that was not what she ordered. He then said oh sorry that was his, and gave the cup to my husband...after she took a sip out of it! My husband and I were both baffled and asked for new one...he acted very put out, but grudgingly gave him new one. So although the coffee was decent, beware it is fresh and not previously "used". Three stars because they got our name and our drink size wrong the first day. And we came back a second day ( it is very tasty) and they had paper straws and I asked if these were the straws and a lady rudely answered that " yes they were." Be nice to your customers, don't use paper straws gross, and open your ears when taking an order. read more
