Born in Dallas, driven past this place maybe a million times and finally pulled in today! Started off with the Mongolian grill protein and udon noodles - soy sauce, garlic, Mongolian and volcano spicy sauce was 10/10 Wings - 8/10 not heavy on Buffalo sauce Stir fried green beans - my all time buffet item 8/10 Fried soft shell crabs - 8/10 claws were a but hard to eat , chef should've smashed them a lil Mango jello dessert - my fav, felt like a kid again 10/10 Dinner for 2 $35 can't beat this price for AYCE on a Friday night!

For the point point and quality this is pretty good deal! We came for lunch on a sat and it was AYCE buffet for $16.95. They seated us quickly during 1pm rush and the inside was super clean. We got sushi, chocolate fountain desserts, and the Mongolian buffet noodles that's cooked on the spot. The sushi was pretty fair for it being a buffet- we got some nigiri pieces and some rolls. the workers were always bringing out fresh food so it wasn't sitting out for too long. For $16 I'd come here again- the food here is decent and affordable!!

Pretty good deal for ayce - I'd say you get what you pay for. There's a lot of variety to choose from, which I was impressed with. There's even a station where they stir fry for you. Big seating area and lots of stations to get food so it doesn't get super crowded. They had chinese food, fish, crawfish, pizza, sushi, and more. Food was average but that's fine for a buffet at a relatively low price. The experience was good for a lower priced buffet.

Quality food for the expansive buffet they have. Two highlights were the sushi bar and the habachi. There is a bar in which you can pick out your ingredients the chef will cook to order. There are a lot of options. Cajun bar, Italian bar, Chinese bar, ect. Place was packed but the service was still really great. They persistently came and filled waters, cleared tables, ect.

It was SOOOO LOUD though. just so many people and loud. Hard to have a conversation. Got the crab cake salad ($34). The crab cake itself was legit. The salad part was an interesting set up since they just had the crab cake on the side and then the salad on the side. I really liked it! Tried one of the sushi rolls and it was interesting that they added some olive oil and citrus?? when it wasn't specified on the menu at all.. I liked the roll though. It will run you $20+ for one. It's big but I also feel like you would need to order a side if you wanted to make that your main entree. And paying for 2 sushi rolls at that price point is steep. The lobster roll looked good? very saucy though. A lot of the stuff on the menu is market price like the filet, risotto etc.

I continue to be impressed by the service and the food. And when you combine this with the beautiful spring weather in Texas (March), it's one of the best experiences in all of DFW. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - If you haven't been to Water Street, go now while the weather is nice (March or October). I'm writing this review in March when the Texas weather is beautiful. While the inside of Pacific Table is elegant with blue booths and white tablecloths, the outdoor seating next to Lake Carolyn creates a view that's almost impossible to find in DFW: fine dining by the water. 1 Star. Service - The service is great. Our server was attentive, helpful, and best of all shared the special of the day. I always ask my server because when they recommend an excellent dish, it means the restaurant puts in the effort to enable them. Mission accomplished. 1 Star. Food - I went with Pacific Table's special of the day: blackened redfish with creole sauce and a vegetable. WOW. This dish was a homerun. The fish was tender, well-seasoned, and the sauce added a creamy component that reminded me of the bayou. As a bonus, my sauteed spinach that I chose as my side was equally delicious. If I wasn't dining in public, I would have licked my plate. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Every time I eat at Pacific Table, I try something new and am pleasantly surprised. The combination of service, specials, and amazing Texas spring weather makes this a repeatable restaurant in my rotation. 1 Star.

My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Monaco is one of the prettiest restaurants in all of DFW. Dark wood and dark blue seating invite you in. The bar is stunning, with back lighting highlighting their drinks. There's also an outdoor seating area, including a wind shield - perfect when the weather is nice. This is a great spot for a weekend date night if you want something outside of Dallas. 1 Star. Service - Everyone was very nice. We were never rushed, all dishes could be customized to order, and I never had to ask for a refill. Nothing but good people here. 1 Star. Food - Let me start by saying presentation matters, and the dishes at Monaco are great for your Instagram or Yelp feed. I started with the roasted oysters. I chose it because the description said the oysters are "topped with bone marrow butter". That, combined with the roasted breadcrumbs, added a nice crunchy and smooth texture to the delicious oysters. For my main, I went with the Salmon St. Harve. This beautiful dish had a perfectly prepared salmon. Soft and flaky, but with a crunch from the skin at the bottom. It was served on top of grilled asparagus and topped with a cream sauce that brought everything together. Delicious. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. It's not a secret that I love Water Street. This is an awesome area in the heart of DFW, and I'm so happy there is an upscale restaurant like Monaco that has amazing food. 1 Star.

The vinaigrette leaned very citrusy, which overpowered the dish a bit, but I couldn't help thinking that adding some goat cheese would balance it beautifully and elevate the whole plate. Then came the pasta bolognese... and that's where things went downhill fast. The ricotta was completely flavorless, the meat was tough, and overall the dish lacked seasoning. It was honestly one of the most disappointing bolognese dishes I've had. One more thing that really stood out: the interior has carpet flooring. In a food establishment, that feels deeply unhygienic and off-putting. 1/5 stars -- a strong start with the appetizer, but the main course and overall experience completely missed the mark.

Lol But I also want to support this small restaurant and brag about literally how delicious everything is. From the empanadas that are cheesy and meaty you could eat as a meal alone, to all the flavors of each sauce they offer is exceptional. The poblano sauce is so good, I'd like to get a job in the kitchen for the recipe. We also asked for a side of the mole sauce just to try, it was smoky, sweet, and the right amount of spices. I forgot to snap a picture but I'll list some things I tried: Empanadas- 10/10- a must order. Flavor, texture, and taste are all amazing. Molé enchiladas- the molé is so good- especially for Dallas since most places are Tex Mex and molé is more Mexican. Definitely order if this is in your "taste profile." Lunch specials- I don't even know if this is on their website but they have a great lunch menu and they have a lunch combo special where you can pick two items for $10.50 and it comes with rice and beans. I ordered the cheese enchilada and the mini chimichanga. Full disclosure I didn't eat the mini chimichanga because I didn't know it was covered in queso and I hate queso (unpopular opinion- I know). I loved the enchilada though and it had chili con carne sauce which was delicious. Rice and beans were also very good. Next time I'll just say no queso on the chimi. There is not even an official vegetarian entree on the menu, and the staff seemed genuinely flummoxed by the request. I could see the team having a pre-service huddle which the hostess broke away from to politely state that they'll be opening shortly and completely understood/appreciated it. Needless to say, more and more early birds showed up and eventually the seating began but that was a painfully slow process as it seemed minutes went by before the hostess returned to seat another party. Finally, she returned and said 'oh - I didn't know anyone was still waiting as she - another co-worker that was lighting candles - didn't tell her. Hmmm! Should the hostess be at the hostess station to greet guests as much/often as possible at all times? The hostess is pleasant and seats us at a nice table. A large party of six gets seated nearby soon after us and although our waiter, Gerardo, took our drink order it felt like they became his focus from that moment on. A young gentleman came around asking if we'd like oil and balsamic without out saying it was for the bread that would be served. I had to ask him if we're getting bread to which he replied yes. We sat with our drinks waiting a long time for the bread which I had to mention to the waiter - AND FINALLY it arrived. It was delicious bread as we're the meatballs - which were unfortunately luke warm. (I wanted to tell them but I try not to be 'that guy' so we ate them before the cooled down any more.) Our caesar salads arrived soon after and I can say they were not remarkable - just another caesar salad that will quickly fade in my memory as 'okay'. I'm not a foodie by any means but do enjoy good food when I can and truly believe that the service can make or break even the best meal - and I have heard so much about John Tesar so I was definitely expecting more that just 'okay'. My filet and my friend's skirt steak finally arrived after a prolonged wait - one of the servers again came to the table with fish plates that weren't ours. (Earlier he also brought 2 burrata plates prior to our salads which makes me think our waiter messed up as we had to wait a while after that to get the 2 Caesars in front of us.) The steaks, peppercorn sauce, asparagus and pureed potatoes were delicious. I like my steak well done and it was cooked perfectly and yet so easy to chew. So the main course was a success but it's hard to overlook the service - especially when we could see/hear a female waiter taking care of an older couple nearby with great care and enthusiastic attention. A party of 4 got seated before we left and again she was quite good relative to our experience. I'm not trying to say it was our waiter (and hostess) as I believe a restaurant is only as good as everyone - from the hostess, bus boy, wait staff, bartender, chef, etc. I had high expectations as I stated earlier since this was a John Tesar restaurant but I know that the one at the Beeman near SMU in Dallas closed and heard from acquaintances that the food and service had been going downhill there. Take this all for what it's worth but if you have a reputation/brand you need to constantly deliver on it. And if you're inside a Ritz-Carlton property - you better be the frickin' best around!
