I finally got to try this Asian buffet for lunch on Friday. The price was $23 including tax and tip if you don't order a drink other than water. For that price, I felt like the variety and quality was good. There is so much variety in fact that you will not have room in your stomach to be able to try all the items. I would recommend walking around the entire buffet if it's your first time and then strategically picking items you like the best first. I started off with the nigiri sushi first. The chef was making them fresh at the bar and kept the buffet plates full. The flavor/quality was good and I enjoyed that they did not add wasabi. The yakatori was one of my favs. I tried both the beef and pork belly and they were both delicious. You could really taste the smoke from the charcoal. This item did require a little waiting. They had a wide variety of items for dessert, including fruit and cakes, a chocolate fountain, and even sherbet. New buffet that my parents and I decided to check out to cap our mini road trip. The price for the weekend dinner was reasonably set at $28 per adult. At the time, once it hit 4:30 there was already a mini horde of people who were waiting for the doors to open. We were a few of them. We were quickly seated after a short line. Especially as a new establishment, the inside was notably clean and also large as well. We all went to work. There is quite a selection. It includes a good variety of sushi, seafood, dimsum, high quality Chinese buffet entree fare, and usual dessert. I would say that it's standard to what you would get compared to these newish Chinese buffets that are trying to not only offer more quantity but place an emphasis on quality and the overall vibe of the establishment. That being said, there wasn't anything particularly good or bad about this place. I do think the $28 price point is reasonable. There were one or two items I really wanted to try, but they were finished and never restocked while we were there. Some of the food items were hit or miss in terms of taste. Came in on a weekend around 6PM and the wait wasn't bad at all, which was a pleasant surprise. Food-wise, there's a lot of variety. If you play it right when you go, it has the potential for greatness: Vibe: Huge open space, much like its dim sum predecessor. Medium loud K Pop music, bright lights, lots of people milling about, and a lot of food set up in the back portion of the room in an organized, well managed way, not easy to do for an operation of this scale. Service: A hard working woman is assigned to a section of this place, and she (they, in total, about 12-15 of them for the whole place) keep your drinks fresh, shuttle away your spent dishes, and take your payment when you're ready to surrender to the fullness of your waxing belly. The lady assigned to me was excellent, observant and good natured. Food Selection: There is something here for everyone, an enormous range of Asian cultures (plus some tried and true gringo faves, like fried chicken, catfish, and potatoes) represented in the 100+ stations where the dishes were set up, each easy to access for cleaning up customers' drips and drops and easy refreshes when volumes run low. You will find fundamentally more proteins, veggies, fruits, and desserts than you can imagine, including stations that will prepare a stir fry on a flat top grill with ingredients you select and hand to the grillmeister. Food Quality: Generally better than I expected. I saw nothing that looked like it had been sitting out too long, helped in large part to LOTS of people scooping it all up, in an always brisk/crowded line. This is my second time dining at this restaurant, and I wanted to give an honest, balanced review. There's definitely a wide variety of seafood to choose from--snow crab, Dungeness crab, lobster, shrimp, oysters, snails, and clams. Out of all the options, the snow crab was my favorite. The Dungeness crab, however, was difficult to eat and served cold; I think it would be much better if it were hot. They also offer a large selection of hot foods, but the beef dishes were disappointing. The meat was tough, including the skewered beef, which was very hard to chew. The Korean BBQ ribs had the same issue and lacked the tenderness you'd expect. On a more positive note, the snails were cooked perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. The hot and sour soup was also excellent--definitely one of the highlights. From the dim sum selection, I enjoyed the glutinous rice and the steamed corn. Dessert was underwhelming. There were plenty of options, but they felt very typical of most buffets and nothing really stood out. Even the Jell-O didn't quite taste like Jell-O, despite looking like it. The restaurant itself is clean, including the bathrooms, and the service was great. Parking can be a bit challenging, so it's best to come early or during off-peak hours. Overall, this is an okay spot if you're looking for variety, especially seafood. They have a whole lot more varieties of Chinese dishes than normal buffet like King Buffet or Flaming Buffet, but of course higher price. I went for lunch around 12:30 Tuesday, it was busy but not overly crowded. I tried dim sum, sushi rolls, garlic shrimp, mapo tofu, rangoons, salt and pepper shrimp. Everything I had was good, temperature wise as well. I do see a-lot of reviews about the food not being warm but my experience was great. I went there this past weekend with a family member. I had a positive experience in the past and wanted to return. This visit I got very sick from the lobster and crabs. The lobster had some slimy looking sauce on it as well as Dungeness crab claws. I started having terrible stomach cramps and diarrhea. This quickly escalated to vomiting with nausea. My family member patronized the hibachi bar and his symptoms were twice a severe as mine. He also ate the lobster and crawfish. For $30.00 each to get food poisoning is not a good look for this restaurant. I also took note that the buffet temp was subpar and lukewarm. I first saw this buffet restaurant on Instagram, and the food looked amazing in the videos, so I was really excited to try it. I'm glad to say it lived up to expectations! This is not your typical low-cost Asian buffet you often find around the U.S. The quality here is noticeably higher, with more unique items that you don't usually see at standard buffets. The food is delicious, fresh, and well presented. The restaurant itself is also clean and spacious. I was especially happy to find some authentic dishes like oyster pancake, taro sago dessert drink, and more. My favorite was the sweet fried sticky rice cake--so good! I've been here twice now and have had a pleasant experience overall. One issue, though, was with one of the waitresses. She stood very close to our table for extended periods, close enough to hear our conversations, which made us uncomfortable. We kindly asked her to step away, but she returned to the same spot shortly after. It felt like our personal space wasn't being respected, and I think this is something that could definitely be improved. They've recently lowered the weekday lunch price for adults from over $20 to $18, and they also offer 15% off for seniors, which is a great deal. The stone crab was a pass for me. But to me, crab is too much work for little meat. Same with the crab legs which were smaller than I thought they would be. it is over ice. I enjoyed the raw oysters (not refilled too often) and the grilled oysters (which took a while to cook and only got 2 during the whole time I was there.) Sushi bar: my friends thought the sashimi was off. I still had it and it was fine... nothing amazing. The sushi roll selection left a lot to be desired sadly. I don't know.. they need more rolls with raw fish and not just crab and tempura?? I hope they improve this but this is not their specialty for sure. dim sum: one of the shrimp dumpling had VERY little shrimp / it was all mush. I was excited to hear about a new seafood buffet that opened nearby, and after seeing all the rave reviews, I dragged my friends along to check it out. I usually don't like going during a soft opening since I understand there are still a lot of things to work on, but this place needs a lot more fixing before they can deliver what was promised. We came on a Sunday night around 7 PM and waited about an hour for a table. I didn't mind waiting as long as we were treated fairly like everyone else. The price was $35 for the weekend, which wasn't bad compared to Osaka $50. The second we sat down, I went straight for the lobster and crab legs since I knew those would go fast. Luckily, I got there right when they refilled the tray and was able to grab a couple of pieces. There were no stone crab, crab legs, or oysters left by the time we went for a second round, and that was around 8:45 PM. I grabbed a couple of crawfish as well, but they were mostly dead or tasted weird. DISCLAIMER: The photos taken were during the 1-hour wait for seating, so around 7 PM; hence why most of the food is still available. What frustrated me the most was the fact that they stopped refilling food around 8:40 PM, even though the restaurant closes at 10:30 PM. That's way too early to stop serving fresh food, especially when our party, and many others, had just sat down after the dinner rush. I was able to get a couple of lobster pieces, but my friends couldn't get any due to the long line. I was looking forward to trying the rest of the dishes, but almost nothing was available by 9 PM, including dessert! The only things left were the ice cream bars. No fruit, cotton candy, cakes, etc. I was shocked at how empty the trays were and just wandered around mindlessly trying to find something to pick at. People were cutting lines everywhere. We'd standing there, waiting for someone to finish, and then a lady would just come up and scoop everything. Since we got here around 6 PM, we only waited about 5 minutes for our table. They have plenty selection of Soups, appetizer, Seafood, Szechuan Food, Hibachi, Noodles station, Skewers station, Sushi, Dim Sum and many more. The food tastes good. The only thing I can think of is some of the Dim Sum too dry. Staff very attentive -- trays and dishes were refreshed reasonably often, and tables were cleared out in a timely manner. Given the number of dishes I sampled, the price felt fair for the value -- especially if you take advantage of the buffet format to try a little of everything. I can see why some people are frustrated though, because they only come in for lobster & crab where the line is long & not refill as often. Price point on a weekend trends a bit high for what you get but it was still an overall good experience. I appreciate how they serve the lobster. There's a person serving it to each customer instead of having the customers get it themselves. I can't be the only person disgusted with seeing the same people hogging plates full of the best pieces leaving none for the next person patiently in line. No the lady that serves it gives each plate a very balanced lobster serving (usually 2 good pieces and 2 useless pieces). The bathroom was arctic cold. Urge to balance the air conditioning flow in this restaurant. It was ridiculous. And thumbs down on the thin and narrow toilet paper too. Back to the food. The hot foods were generally solid though I would say a bit too mala-spicy for my tastes. Thankfully there are enough dishes that don't have that to keep my appetite satisfied. The sushi was pretty much useless and unsure why it was even available. I say continue focusing on what this place is known for (the hot foods and everything else) and improve there. Leave the sushi to Japanese places. The hibachi cooked stuff was surprisingly good. Too many times at some other buffet places you get the hibachi grilled stuff you asked them to cook but zero taste. This was tasty and without even adding sauces so kudos on that. I don't know how I feel about receiving the check and the person hovering over you as you pay for it. Urge to change here. Get out of my space completely when I'm signing the invoice. In this visit, another pet peeve of mine. Seeing and hearing the typical Vietnamese lady video recording everything while talking loudly. Oh that actually reminds me also. There is no personal space at the tables. It's too close together. And yes as another person alluded to. Parking fills up fast. We had high hopes. The space was modern, clean, and bright but one side of our corner booth kept sliding. I appreciate their attempt with projections on the floor and spinning signs at stations but some of those signs didn't work so while the idea is cool, it wasn't very helpful. The highlight for our family was the sashimi. Quality was good while pieces were small, you don't often find decent sashimi at other buffets. However, we all agreed that for the price, we'd rather head to an AYCE japanese buffet instead. Thankfully, we came during their valentines special or we would have been super disappointed. There were promises of premium offerings and while there were unique options not generally found at buffets, the quality just wasn't there. The lobster had a soft texture. Same with the crab. We skipped the rotating pot of crawfish. Dishes in the cooked section weren't consistently filled up. Chicken wings were solid when they were fresh. Soups, dim sum, and desserts had variety but were just ok. We saw others with fresh spun cotton candy so you may want to try that. Note that the restaurant space is large and has some areas separate from the main area that is more private and could accommodate a decent size group. This review is based on two visits, one in December and a recent one. In December on a weeknight, the food was disappointing. The selection felt limited, the sushi wasn't good, the lobster was chopped very small with barely any meat, and the crawfish was dry and clearly had been sitting out. Even the boiled egg looked overcooked. Some items I saw online weren't available, and most of the food was very dry. The only thing I found decent was the sweet and sour chicken. There was also an influencer being filmed throughout the restaurant, which was a bit disruptive. My recent visit was slightly better but still had many of the same issues. Overall, this place just isn't for me, but it does look like they're trying to improve. I'd still suggest people try it for themselves since experiences may vary. read more

February is try new local places and Crouching Tiger was our choice. Only open 2 months. They are doing a great job. Modern clean decor using a lot of tech. Like floor projections reminder floor could be wet. Digital Laser changing signs throughout. Bright orange & white decor. Now on to the good. Many sushi choices fresh and hot. Hot pot ramen & hibachi station with choose your own items. Large hot items & cold. Desserts of many types, ice cream box and with a chocolate fountain. Bright and clean atmosphere. Large variety of food that are typical of Chinese buffet. A grill station for beef and chicken skewers was different. They did have lobsters but you one get 2 pieces per turn. Sushi was not very fresh and kind of messy. Over all a decent buffet but not the greatest. Our server was nice but seemed overwhelmed with all the tables he had to handle. Therefore drinks were only topped off once during the whole dinner and the table took a while to clear off. read more

My parents love a Chinese buffet, so when I came upon this place, I knew we had to stop by. We headed over for lunch on a Saturday. The crowd came in after we sat, but this did not stop the service, which was very attentive. The place was clean, and the lineup to the food was pretty organized. I do have to agree with previous reviews on a lack of choices. The choices available are different then your average chinese buffet and I appreciated the experience of some first tries. The food itself was good but very average and nothing stood out. The desserts were a complete fail. The only portion I liked was the sashimi and a seafood boil. We paid $28 per person, which is way too high. They have an advertisement for a lunchtime special during the week, which is $20. Honestly, this is what it should have cost. I am not a fan of buffets, and this one, unfortunately, didn't sway my opinion on them. read more

Had high hopes for a great buffet.. not so much my teenager puked in the parking lot before we got to the car, bc it's a buffet who knows what he ate that disagreed with him. Food tasted ok to me nothing was fabulous. But the PRICING didn't match.. yes there's lots of iced seafood but I'm not into eyeballs on shrimp and such so I didn't even touch it. The deserts weren't bad but I have to wonder if the chocolate in the fountain was actually chocolate it was very gritty. read more
