Super great gyros! We loved eating there. Both the owner, and I assume his daughter were friendly and quick with getting our food out. Also it really tasted delicious. They totally accommodated our menu requests. Some of the best tabouli and baklava I've had! 10/10 would recommend supporting this small business. Def a hidden gem. My family (2 adults, 3 kids ages 8-13), arrived hungry for lunch but haven't had extensive experience with gyros or Greek food before...kids aren't picky per say, but there were second glances at Jimmy Johns next door as we filed into the Kings Gyros doors. We ordered a gyro plate, chicken plate, shrimp plate and then the chicken and steak kids meals. Lots of food! Big portions! Most importantly the flavors were spot on. Even the kids raved at how good it all was. I loved that the cucumber taziki type sauce was very refreshing and fresh tasting instead of masked with garlic. Taziki sauce was perfect. Veggies were fresh. Each person had to much meat...like that is a bad thing. We ate none of the fries, had to get a to-go box. The gyros were HUGE!!!!! Interior looks like a school cafeteria. Lady taking orders was very hard to understand. I asked for no sauce and received food bathed in sauce. Fries had a lot of black/rotten spots on them. This place was one of my favorite places to eat w/5 stars! However, today my Mom pulled up at 4:50 pm, she saw the owner behind the counter. When she got to the door, the owner had gone to the back, and it was already locked. She stood there for a moment, she could see the owner peak around the corner and disappear again. When you list 1030am-5pm as your hours of operation, then I should be able to walk through that door at 459 to get an order to go, and rather than just hiding in the back, he should have had the decency to at least come to the door to say he decided to close early. read more

I stopped in after a drs appointment nearby (I live in memphis). I didn't want fast food, but I didn't want a sit down restaurant either. After reading multiple reviews I decided to give Kings a try. I rarely eat gyro meat, only chicken but I felt inclined to try it! I'm so happy I did. Incredibly tender, flavorful and delicious. As I was sitting eating my food he treated everyone with a friendly and courteous demeanor. The store is no longer owned by Sue and is now called KING GYROS. Current owner is not Greek but a Coptic Egyptian. Very friendly gentleman. If you have eaten at the Pyramids Cafe (also owned by Coptic Egyptians) in the Cool Springs Mall, this has the same flavor. Excellent. I prefer ranch over the tahini-taziki sauce and they have great ranch. Gyro meat is fantastic and huge portions are overflowing the pita bread. Loved the rice (substituted from the fries) as well. Best Greek food in Franklin and Nashville! We took a chance on this hole in the wall about a year ago and now we go in for dinner about once a week consistently. Never disappoints - it's always delicious. The quality of the gyro meat is amazing, pitas are always warm, and the owner always greets everyone with a toothy grin. So many options to top your food, and the tabouli is amazing!! I get the gyro plate since it's less messy than the gyro itself, but my boyfriend always gets the gyro value meal with seasoned fries and a coke.
