Just happened to notice King Kebab while we were hunting for some food nearby and I'm so glad we tried it! My boyfriend got the shish kebab and I got a beef gyro. The meat tasted high quality and the pita was nice and soft. We both loved the garlic sauce and the thick cut fries. There were several parking spots open when we popped by mid day on a Saturday and it was chill inside the restaurant. The woman who gave us our order was very sweet and helpful. We will definitely be back next time we're craving kebabs! read more

Tried their shawarma sandwich combos which came with shawarma chicken / beef inside a pita bread wrap and fries (or salad) which were the fat steak fries. The fries were crispy and well seasoned ! For the pita sandwich, recommend eating right away as the veggies it comes with makes the sandwich / pita wrap soggy. Meat was well seasoned and the portion was filling. I wish he gave a larger portion for the fries, though. It was that good ! They make your food when you order (they work fast -- order was ready in about 20 minutes). Each combo is $14 before tax. They charge you more for using card over cash. It's a nice small business. The chef / cashier on-site was friendly. Little hole in the wall in NoHo. They have a TV that had football on if you ever wanna come here and watch the game. The interior reminds me of Greece ! We wanted to grab a quick bite before an event, saw this little spot, and decided to give it a try--not knowing what to expect. We didn't check reviews or anything. Luckily, it turned out to be great! The couple running the place was sweet and friendly. I got the chicken shawarma sandwich combo. The chicken was fresh, juicy, and flavorful--I really enjoyed it! Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop by to try something else on the menu. On a side note: besides the great food, I have to mention that the lady owner has a fantastic haircut and hair color. Juiciest kebab!! We are obsessed with this place! I get the beef Lule and my bf gets the beef shish. For the last few months, we've been coming here at least once every couple weeks, and the food is consistently served with friendly smile and high quality flavorful meats and the best sides. Seriously I don't know how they make such good rice, it seems funny to say because it's just rice, but this rice is not JUST rice. It's buttery. Also hummus and tzatziki are bomb! read more

That place is nothing but rubbish from the kitchen to the front counter . The portions of the meal is too small for the price you pay. I asked for some pickles and the guy came with a small dish and as we ready to pay out ticket we found out that the woman in the pink wig added $7 for the pickles witch at carnival restaurant they double the portions of the food and free unlimited pickles. The place going down because they screw up the operation. read more

This is my one of favorite place to get chicken kebab. The owners are the nicest husband and wife that take pride in the dishes they put out. Food is always consistently good and the service is amazing. Ive been a customer for at least 13 years strong. When I worked for ITT we would cater in the food from here. Everyone always adored and raved about it. They also deliver and the food is always fresh and still hot. My favorite is the chicken breast chicken kebab plate. It comes with delicious cucumber salad, rice, bread, and French fries. I always finish my plate no leftovers. The husband cuts up all of the pieces of meat that are always the best cuts the wife cooks it to perfection. You will not be disappointed and I guarantee you will be back for more. read more

Total hole in the wall but delicious chicken shwarma- they apparently only offer bottled water even if you dine in but then they did end up giving us tap water. It was a little slow and a little pricey for what it is (eg we wanted to add a side of babaganoush and pita on top of our gyros). Another Kebab spot in the Valley Village area. Decent selection....got the #1 combo $12.99 - 3pc beef, 3pc chicken, 1pc lule with rice, fries, hummus, and salad. I subbed the fries for more salad. The quality of the food and portions were good. The flavor could have been better. This is a solid 4 star but if I compare it to some of my other favorite Mid Eastern food spots in the area, it goes down to a 3. Let me start with service is great. Delivery time is short, and I got a nice delivery guy. When ordering the woman on the other end was very kind and nice. The gyros are okay but could be better. I also tried the kebab combo and that was okay also. Their pita bread isn't fresh or homemade; you can get a pack of the pita bread they serve at John's. I was a bit disappointed when I ordered hummus with pita; I expected freshly made pita but instead received a plastic bag of store bought pita. I probably would try this place again just to give it another chance and try something else on their menu. read more

This place is so wonderful! It's like being at home and having your mom make you food. It even comes out in those romeo & juliet plates we all have at home. I love me some Mediterranean food and have found a real gem here! Great customer service. The owner could not have been nicer! He asked if it was my first time there and when I told him yes he gave me samples of the different sauces and sides they offer. I ordered the beef kabobs! They cook the steak to order and ask how you like the meat ( medium, well done ect). The food was cooked to perfection. Everything tasted great. This Armenian lady is the sweetest lady. I come to this place 2 -3 times a month and she is always nice. And the food is great. I feel like it may have declined in the portion size a bit. It was a bit low on Tzatziki sauce though. When I got there it wasn't too crowded, but as the afternoon was approaching it got very busy very fast and the place is not that big, so at the end it felt crowded. I left as the live music was setting up so didn't get to hear them, but they are supposed to be good. The service was ok, but lagged at times. The only think I can complain is the prices. Coming from Miami, I found that $53 for a gyro sandwich with fries, a Greek salad and a tea was waaaay too expensive. Granted, the restaurant is gourmet level and is in Los Angeles, but in Miami it would have been about as good for less than half. I still recommend it though, the food is great and you'll have to decide if it is too expensive for you all things considered.

Ok what can i write something different this mom n pop place is the best food ive ever had!!!! Ive tried many different sihes they r all fresh n tender that melts in ur mouth like butter heaven must have made their food or something man!! Their prices are perfect for the top notch quality food u get n the big portion the serve. I am a quality food eater n they have grade A meats the prices are very reasonable for the quality food u get! Last evening when I was in mood of some kebabs, my friend Ryan jumped up to join with me for a treat. After trying so many Mediterranean restaurants I was surly not expecting anything great when Ryan suggested me this place. I just thought this is going to be just another kebab place, but I was surprised to find this place is going appear in the list of my favorites. PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE. They act very friendly with you but they're racists against African Americans, Jews, and Koreans. You eat, you pay, and as soon as you walk out they start talking shit about you and your friends. Eat at CONTINENTAL GRILL it's right across the street. Salim was not that friendly, nor was he unfriendly. I ordered 1skewer of Shish Kabob that came in 4 small pieces of square beef, 1 skewer of grilled big prawns-3 pieces, which came with Rice, Hummus, Pita bread(stale) & was cold, and cabbage salad. My total for everything including tax was $29.65. I asked my Shish Kebob to be cooked medium, and it was way too well done for my taste. Shrimp and the rest were delicious!! My server Cely could have been more pleasant and friendly. She just brought my food out, placed it on the table & didn't check on me not even ONCE!! One of the cooks from the kitchen asked me if I needed anything and I said, I am good. Had to get up myself to ask for water and napkins. Ambiance was dull and boring. There was no one in the restaurant. Right when I was about to leave, another employee by the name of Micalla came to work and right away asked me if I needed anything. I asked for a box to take the remaining of the food to go. Right away she packed my food and I left. Fridge full of cold beverages and my favorite TAN! An Armenian/Lebanese Yogurt drink. Another downside was that they didn't have an itemized receipt. The last 4 star was for Micalla. Will definitely return again some other time. I used to love Le Petit Greek in Larchmont and Papa Cristos, but sadly both closed recently. So I'm really happy to have found a new Greek restaurant I love!
