Tried their shawarma sandwich combos which came with shawarma chicken / beef inside a pita bread wrap and fries (or salad) which were the fat steak fries. The fries were crispy and well seasoned ! For the pita sandwich, recommend eating right away as the veggies it comes with makes the sandwich / pita wrap soggy. Meat was well seasoned and the portion was filling. I wish he gave a larger portion for the fries, though. It was that good ! They make your food when you order (they work fast -- order was ready in about 20 minutes). Each combo is $14 before tax. They charge you more for using card over cash. It's a nice small business. The chef / cashier on-site was friendly. Little hole in the wall in NoHo. They have a TV that had football on if you ever wanna come here and watch the game. The interior reminds me of Greece ! If the price wasn't so high, I would be down try their plates which currently range from $18-26. Friendly service !! read more

We wanted to grab a quick bite before an event, saw this little spot, and decided to give it a try--not knowing what to expect. We didn't check reviews or anything. Luckily, it turned out to be great! The couple running the place was sweet and friendly. I got the chicken shawarma sandwich combo. The chicken was fresh, juicy, and flavorful--I really enjoyed it! Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop by to try something else on the menu. On a side note: besides the great food, I have to mention that the lady owner has a fantastic haircut and hair color. Juiciest kebab!! We are obsessed with this place! I get the beef Lule and my bf gets the beef shish. For the last few months, we've been coming here at least once every couple weeks, and the food is consistently served with friendly smile and high quality flavorful meats and the best sides. That place is nothing but rubbish from the kitchen to the front counter . The portions of the meal is too small for the price you pay. I asked for some pickles and the guy came with a small dish and as we ready to pay out ticket we found out that the woman in the pink wig added $7 for the pickles witch at carnival restaurant they double the portions of the food and free unlimited pickles. This is my one of favorite place to get chicken kebab. The owners are the nicest husband and wife that take pride in the dishes they put out. Food is always consistently good and the service is amazing. Ive been a customer for at least 13 years strong. When I worked for ITT we would cater in the food from here. Everyone always adored and raved about it. They also deliver and the food is always fresh and still hot. My favorite is the chicken breast chicken kebab plate. It comes with delicious cucumber salad, rice, bread, and French fries. I always finish my plate no leftovers. The husband cuts up all of the pieces of meat that are always the best cuts the wife cooks it to perfection. You will not be disappointed and I guarantee you will be back for more. read more

Total hole in the wall but delicious chicken shwarma- they apparently only offer bottled water even if you dine in but then they did end up giving us tap water. It was a little slow and a little pricey for what it is (eg we wanted to add a side of babaganoush and pita on top of our gyros). Another Kebab spot in the Valley Village area. Decent selection....got the #1 combo $12.99 - 3pc beef, 3pc chicken, 1pc lule with rice, fries, hummus, and salad. I subbed the fries for more salad. The quality of the food and portions were good. The flavor could have been better. This is a solid 4 star but if I compare it to some of my other favorite Mid Eastern food spots in the area, it goes down to a 3. I have drive by here so many times and finally tried them out based on the yelp reviews and I'm happy I did. I ordered the gyro combo and the sandwich was well made and tasty. I love me some Mediterranean food and have found a real gem here! Great customer service. The owner could not have been nicer! He asked if it was my first time there and when I told him yes he gave me samples of the different sauces and sides they offer. I ordered the beef kabobs! They cook the steak to order and ask how you like the meat ( medium, well done ect). The food was cooked to perfection. Everything tasted great. This Armenian lady is the sweetest lady. I come to this place 2 -3 times a month and she is always nice. And the food is great. I feel like it may have declined in the portion size a bit. I'm very picky when it comes to Mediterranean food and King kabob by far is one of the best in the Valley , I literally ate here 4 days in a row once I found them!!! The food is home cooked and full of flavor and I love that it's a mom and pop shop. They give great service and I in comparison to other Mediterranean places there food is affordable but with the best flavor. Well done King kabob!!! I'll keep coming back. read more

I still recommend it though, the food is great and you'll have to decide if it is too expensive for you all things considered.

The chicken was very tender and juicy, the pork skewers like the ones in Greece. I highly recommend Nostimo Grill in Norh Hollywood.
