I'm really not sure how this place has such high reviews. The people are nice but the food was subpar. My salmon was too fishy and the chicken had so much pepper on it, it was overpowering. Bad experience from the start. Off top, i called in an order to pick up. The woman took my order, asked if i wanted a combo, i told her no thx, she said "OK" and hung up. No price, or time it'd be ready at, I went 5 min later to pick the shwarma wrap up, & it was ready, cool! The place was clean, so i just chalked it up to bad phone etiquette. Brought the food to my office, and the white paper bag the wrap came in was soaked in grease on one side, which isn't always a bad sign, but this time it sho was. The wrap was in foil, which had grease leaking out. When i opened it up, the pita bread was yellow and soggy, as if the chicken was poured in to it, oil and all. I fucked up picking it up and taking a bite to try it, cuz the whole shit fell apart and got all over the floor. Fuck man, it was kinda funny, cuz i saw all the flaws in the wrap and bit it anyway, but kinda not cuz i was starving. "King" kabob u are NOT. Last night I was wayyyy too lazy to cook and was craving some kind of mediterranean so I hopped on Yelp, read a bunch of reviews, and decided to give this place a try. I'm a big fan of beef, but was torn between that and chicken (since either can be hit or miss with a new place). Thus I decided to go with the combo plate (chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, and a piece of beef lule? I have no idea what it is but it tasted like some kind of sausage) . There's a $15 minimum for delivery so I added peach juice, placed my order through EAT 24 and it said 45-60min. That seemed like a loonnnggg time but I guess if they make it fresh to order that's well worth it! The food came in 41min (yayyy!!) and smelled absolutely AMAZING. I wanted to yank it out of the (very nice) delivery guy's hands and run away. When I opened it I noticed the portions are HUGE. And if you cut up the meat like I did it lasts even longer! I was also very pleased they give you a pita, since I don't have any and that's one of the best parts! The chicken is a bright, BRIGHT orange color that really threw me off at first, but it's very well seasoned and tastes great. Fully cooked and tender. The beef was a little pink on the inside at times (I don't care because I love medium-raw, but if pink is icky to you that's something to take into consideration). It was also very tasty and seasoned just right! The rice is buttery goodness and people complained about it being plain, but with all the flavor in everything else I thought it was perfect! I have no idea what kind of mediterranean place serves fries but I am soooooo not complaining because they were thick-cut steak fries, seasoned to the high heavens (amazingly so), and perfectly crispy. For those concerned about the dressing on the salad ask for it on the side! I did and it was a nice little container you can add as you go. Duh! I never get the stuff ON the salad because you just never know. It's not much of a salad, but something nice and light to start the meal with if you want: some iceberg lettuce, few slices of tomato and cucumber. I'm not a huuuge hummus fan (I know, shut up) but I liked the way it tasted with the pita, rice, and shawarma all together! The peach huge is an ittie bittie can of sweet nectar goodness and was the perfect sweet addition to my plate. There was SOOO MUCH FOOD I didn't finish it! It's very easily two meals if you want it to be, or have a smaller appetite. When coming to this place I expected to get a fulfilling and presumably a fresh entree. My expectations were not met. What I got was not value for my money to say the least. I ordered a shawarma plate, which according to their menu comes with rice, hummus, salad, and French fries. When I opened my box I saw there was no hummus or FRENCH FRIES. Going out my way to complain is not my thing. I was in fact going to let this go... Until I tried the food The rice was not fresh and over cooked. From my experience eating in Armenian restaurants rice is usually savory and has admix noodles. Sadly, not here. The sauce was so acidic, I knew it would burn my esophagus. I ordered a a chicken shawarma and I have no idea what meat it was. It was red and and flat. Slim Jim at 7 11 would have been better. Now I should point out that the pita was cooked in the house. Yet it was not fresh or savory. So I'm left with stale rice small salad acidic sauce and nominal pita. The service was far from good or pleasant. No questions that were answered made any sense. I threw all my food in the trash. 15 fucken dollars down the drain. Whoever is reading word to the wise read more

First time and I found it off of, of course YELP due to high reviews and that it had filet mignon as one of my meat choices that actually looked good from the pictures. I wasn't disappointed, the food was excellent!!! Next time though I might ask for the meat to be grilled slightly more but other than that. Mmmm I want it now, the cravings have begun. I had a very mixed experience here. I called for delivery and it was pretty quick and the driver was nice. My boyfriend got the combo plate and was pretty satisfied by everything but the lula. The chicken on both of our dishes was delicious and well cooked. I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich and was very disappointed, firstly because the moment I picked it up it poured bright orange grease all down my shirt and pants which was not awesome. When I opened it I saw why, there wasn't any paper or anything between the sandwich and the foil, so it was just covered in grease leaking everywhere. The pita wasn't grilled before the chicken was put in so it was just a giant soggy mess. Definitely order the plate instead. Luckily I have a jacket so I don't look like a total hobo for the rest of the day... I also ordered a small side of tdziki for $5 you'd think it would come with at least one slice of pita but nope. Glad I didn't order the $10 large. Overall the food wasn't bad, all of the chicken we had was pretty stellar, but the take out set up could use some serious reworking. read more

Greek/Mediterranean places are a dime-a-dozen in North Hollywood and some certainly seem more along the lines of food trucks in terms of quality and cleanliness. This place has the quality of a restaurant two or three times more expensive. One piece of advice, if you're in a hurry, consider ordering ahead because they take great care and make the food to order. I had the tuna salad plate, my girlfriend the salmon plate, both delicious.
