The hotdogs here are great, very fresh. Unlike other vendors, Ramon cooks them once you order. Great services and reasonable pricing.

This place is always recommended to me on Yelp anytime I try to find places to eat in Little Tokyo…read moreand technically it's in the Arts District, but it's within walking distance. I've had my brother and several friends say that it's good and since we were closer to this area for a pop up event, we dropped by and I finally had a chance to try it. We visited during the final game of the World Cup, so there was no more indoor dining, but there's a couple bench tables outside at the side of the building. Part of the building shades over the seating, so even on a pretty hot day, this worked in a pinch and there was a slight breeze too, thank goodness. Staff was helpful and and answered our questions. They also brought our order out to the tables outside, which was nice. They also took our trash and tray back when we were done too. Each table has ketchup, brown and spicy mustard if need be. Inside, you order and pay at the cashier, grab a number, and they bring it to you. There's a bunch of sausage links on display, as well as the sodas and you can see some of the beer that they have too. For our Sunday lunch, we got the: 1) Sunset Zero soda: -It's an imported German soda. Love that there's a zero sugar version. It's a citrus cola with ending vanilla notes. Way better than some of the orange Pepsi/Pepsi Fire they ran in the past. Nice to try. 2) Rattlesnake & Rabbit with Jalapeno Peppers: -Unique combination of predator and prey meats all encased into one sausage. Also, not often you can get these meats as well. -Slight spicy kick to it from the jalapenos and rich, buttery texture of the meats together. -Each hot dog comes with 2 toppings and we got caramelized onions and sauerkraut with this which added a nice sour and sweet taste to it too. -I liked this the most of the 2 of them. 3) Pheasant with Herbs de Provence: -Nice savory flavor, but I was a fool and ordered this with the sweet and spicy peppers as a topping since they were different from the other toppings we got and I mostly just tasted the bitter aftertaste of the peppers that sort of overpowered the meats. My mistake if anything since the bites with just meat and mustard were delicious. 4) Groot of Belgian Fries: -Huge serving, way too much for 2 people especially with 2 hot dogs and we sadly could not finish it, but at the very least it came with 2 dipping sauces. -Before ordering this, I didn't groot referred to anything other than a Marvel character. -Fries had a rich, deeper flavor than standard fries, nice slight crispiness. We got it with curry ketchup and sundried tomato mayo. The tomato mayo was fine, definitely a lighter flavor and since the fries tasted so rich on their own, I feel like the curry ketchup was a more flavorful and better match. I love a good hot dog, so being able to try it with more exotic meats, flavors, and sauces makes it definitely worth stopping by.

The space has a dark, industrial vibe, and I loved seeing the sausage display when you walk in. We shared the duck & bacon, mango jalapeño, rattlesnake & rabbit, and the Klein. The duck & bacon was easily our favorite. It was juicy and packed with flavor. The mango jalapeño had a nice balance of sweet and savory but I wish it had more heat. The rattlesnake & rabbit was interesting but could've used a little more salt. I also loved the toasted buns, sauerkraut, and caramelized onions. The fries were fluffy inside but I wish they were a little crispier. I also loved their beer selection and they let us sample a few before ordering. If you go definitely get the Kasteel Tropicale!! It was my favorite beer of the night! The service was great and the cashiers gave us awesome recommendations. Overall, I'd definitely come back. It's a fun spot to grab beers and sausages with friends!

I've been coming…read morehere for almost 40 years and as this world keeps changing having Pink's stay the same for all these years is comforting. For more than 80 years, Pink's Hot Dogs has been a true Los Angeles institution, drawing generations of locals and tourists from around the world to experience one of the city's most iconic food destinations. Founded in 1939 as a humble hot dog cart, Pink's has built its legendary reputation by serving classic hot dogs with unforgettable flavors while staying true to its roots. My favorite is the spicy Polish dog topped with rich chili, melted cheese, and fresh raw onions. The spicy sausage has the perfect kick, while the savory chili and creamy cheese create an incredible combination that keeps you coming back for another bite. The crunchy raw onions add just the right amount of freshness and texture to finish it off. Don't skip the French fries! They're perfectly crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside, and the ideal side to pair with one of Pink's famous hot dogs. Whether you're a lifelong Angeleno or visiting Southern California for the first time, Pink's is a must-visit. The long line is part of the experience, and after more than eight decades, it's easy to understand why this legendary spot continues to delight both locals and visitors alike. Pink's isn't just a place to grab a hot dog--it's a piece of Los Angeles history.

I appreciate that they've stuck with their old school vibe because it really makes the experience. They have so many hot dog options! And a pretty extensive menu overall with hamburgers, etc. I got the Pink's Famous Chili Dog and, honestly, I get why it's a classic. The chili was really delicious, not super oily. Good ratio of hot dog to chili. Very fun experience and would definitely come again!

The hot dogs were coated with a light layer of sugar, giving them a crunchy exterior while staying soft and moist inside. The melted mozzarella cheese made them even better. The smoothie drinks tasted fresh, and I was told they use fresh fruits in their beverages. Customer service was excellent--the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The only downside was the parking situation. Valet parking is required, and you have to pay, which can be a bit inconvenient. Other than that, we had a great experience and would definitely come back.

They also have an ordering counter and a Yelp ordering menu kiosk which is super convenient. Everything is made fresh and comes out fairly quick considering they're cooking everything to order. They also do so many drinks here which I will definitely be trying next time I come back! There's lots of seating and a customer bathroom too.

Many come with the intention of getting a TJ Dog, many get talked into it by those selling it, and many succumbed to the munchies. No matter the reason, they're more tasty than they smell (if that's possible). Many have some hot dogs in all stages of their cook state (cooked enough, some char, lots of char, almost overcooked). A lot of the hot dog vendors have their PayPal/Venmo QR codes taped onto their cart. You can't tell the difference between the TJ dogs sold here and the ones in Tijuana. I've personally never gotten sick after eating these. Service is quick, there may be a bit of a language barrier, but not enough to prevent your purchase of a hot tasty TJ dog.

They're particularly amazing if the vendor is set up on a corner, it should be at least midnight, and you should be a couple of sheets to the wind. I don't know if it's the car exhaust marinade or the lard cooking ingredients, but those damn Dirty Dogs are life-changingly good! (Make sure you get it with all the fixings... Calories don't count after midnight.) Whether it's outside the clubs in Hollywood, or you're celebrating the Lakers win outside the Staples Center, those trusty carts are a godsend to LA food lovers like me! Now to find those bad boys, if you're good, you can locate a stand by scouring the city for the queue on corner - the clear indicator of the food stand. But if you're freaking awesome (like my fatty friend, Ellen Sue C.), you can simply stick your head out the car window and sniff the nighttime air to find them. Either way, bacon-wrapped hot dogs are staple in the culture of LA. It's what makes us so damn awesome! NOTE: It has been tough finding these jewels lately, and I discovered on my last lucky adventure that they are required to have permits now, and that many have acquired trucks instead of carts!
