While here on business, my colleague and I found this place. And boy are we glad we did. We had the spinach and artichoke appetizer which was to die for. The buttery toasted bread points were good enough alone but add in the perfect gooey dip. We split a large NY Strip, ordered medium to medium rare and the temp was spot on. My wife and I went here to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary, it was the best decision we could have made. From the moment we entered, we treated to a delightful evening. Giving a 3 start only for the fact of our previous experiences. We usually only get salmon or salad, but today we wanted to try some burgers. Quiet possibly the worst burgers in town, I'd much rather have a fast food burger. They tasted like they were boiled patties. Just going to share my experience recently at a local restaurant because it was just that bad and they don't seem to care. Wanted to take my in-laws out for a nice meal for their anniversary. Our order was taken quickly and our appetizers arrived very quickly. We had an extremely long wait for our entrées. My father-in-law's entrée was not at all what he ordered however he chose to eat it and not wait for them to remake his meal correctly. Both my and my son's steaks were ordered medium and they were shoe leather. Extremely over cooked however we waited a long time for the meal and we were hungry and chose to eat them. That's on us. When we got home we looked at the receipt and noticed my son's meal was $40.99. I was pretty sure that the menu said it was $32.99 so I looked it up online and confirmed that we were overcharged.. I reached out to the restaurant explained what happened asked if I needed to bring my wife's credit card back in with me or if we could settle it without. I was told that we were not overcharged because fried shrimp cost five dollars more. I did not see it on the menu and do not see it on the copy of the menu online. We were never told that last night when we place the order. Even if you added five dollars onto the menu price it is still not what I was charged however I am not going back to fight about it I will just never do business with this restaurant again. With what they charge for a "decent" meal at best I just thought I would share my experience and possibly save someone else the trouble and quite a bit of money. read more

It was so full of Gristle I kept having to chew and chew and chew to try to get anything out of it. Nice waitresses. We are here for dinner. Saw it had a good review on yelp. But the food is very disappointing. The foods are way too salty. Dinner salad is not good either, but it costed $10.00( no meat in it, just some cheese and stale dry bacon). At other restaurants, it will be called a side salad, not dinner salad. Too our very surprise, at the time of paying the bill, we found out my daughter's kids meal (Mac&Cheese, which is $7.49$, did not even include the side nor drink. So we had to pay extra $4 for the side(potato), and $3 for her kids size apple juice. So her kids meal ended up to be $14.49. She did not even eat 1/4 of the Mac & Cheese. It tasted so bad. We stopped here on the way home from Laughlin heading to Phoenix. We didn't want another chain restaurant. This was not to far from the freeway making it convenient for travelers. The food was excellent. Fresh salads, great entrays but our favorite was the bread with real butter. Many different items to choose from but not so many that would make it overwhelming. The place had a definite small town feel with all the charm. Our waitress was very warm and friendly. We will be stopping again next time. I highly recommend you do as well. read more

I was appalled none of the employees were wearing a mask. They did not adhere to the limitations. I was in a state of panic every time an employee came to our table uncovered. Wearing a mask these days is a sign of respect for those around you. If the employees of Chophouse don't respect me, I don't want to be around them. You know your in the right place when it's not set on the corner of a busy intersection. I had a steak and egg platter and was cooked to my satisfaction. GOOD food! My wife and I don't eat out much because of my wife's allergies but the staff here fixed her food so that she could eat it without any reactions from hidden spices or such. I had the hamburger and baked potato and it was so very very good. $10 for a hamburger and potato may seem high, on my budget it is high, but it was worth every penny. I thought I was at some country western cowboy bar and not a place to eat!!!! Servers can be VERY hit and miss. We have had awesome service and other times, really poor service. No rhyme or reason to it. We hate the wooden tree branch booths brought over from the old building (use them for fire wood in your new fireplace!). My wife and I were there for lunch last week and even with only 4 tables total being used, it took FOREVER to get a simple chicken wrap to get delivered to the table for some reason. The bar area is really nice and we are looking forward to going here on Sundays to watch some NFL games, but if that annoying C.W. music is playing like it was the other day (you can hear it in the parking lot), we will not set foot inside on a Sunday or any other day. Well I don't like to do bad reviews but this place deserves it. This is the 3rd chance we have given this place. We took our company there for dinner and it was expensive and the food was horrible. The girls ordered salmon and it was only cooked on the thin pieces. And soft and watery where it was not done and it had a fishy Odor so us girls did not eat much of it I had garlic mashed potatoes I mean how can you mess up mashed potatoes well our potatoes were like a blop of hardened lumpy potatoes my husband had filet and asked for it medium and his plate was covered in blood when he cut into it and they rolled up some kin d of meat in a circle and called it filet with bacon wrap that the bacon was not cooked well either. Our other party ordered a large steak and it was also on the bloody side and he told the waiter that that happened last time he ate there and it came out that way again yuck. It cost 161.62 for 4 of us and only 3 of us had a beer so the meal was way to expensive and l left there hungry that just should not happen. We would have sent it back but we have heard what happens to peoples food who send it back so we did not . The only positive of the nite was our server was running his but off and trying to make everyone he had to wait on happy. I took my friends who live in town to this place since we were talking for months about going to a steakhouse. They had not been to this one yet. Well,some of the previous reviewers were right and some of them were lcuky. We got there and were seating immediately. Our drink order was taken and eventually brought to the table. Our dinner order was taken and then nothing happened for a long time. Sam had taken some medication under the assumption he would be getting food for it and began to have medical problems. I got up to ask for some bread to help. It turns out tha we were supposed to get a basket of bread for all of us. Still more waiting.........I got up to ask for our salads. Someone sle came to take our salad orders again. Mine came with cheese in it and cruets of vinegar and oil. I ordered vinaigrette dressing and no cheese both times. I sent it back . Pam's came with the dressing that should have been on her large salad with chicken on top. Sam never got a salad or a soup. It was getting on about an hour and a half since we left the house and Sam had to get back on the computer to work in another half hour. Eventually the manager came out and told us the order had been lost in the computer and had to be reentered. She said we would go to the top of the list. More waiting.........The orders came after Sam was supposed to log on back to work. My steak was a little too pink so I sent it back. Sam's was too pink as well but he couldn't risk any more time lost from work. I asked for my salad again. It came witt the recooked steak. The manage had promissed us a discount because of all the waiting. While we waited I saw two tables of guests, who had been seated after we were, be served and finish their dinners. When the check came there wasno discount on it. I went back to the original waitress and asked for the promissed discount. They recomputed the bill and it came again to about the same amount as before. Theysaid we left off the drinks last time. By that time Sam was going to be an hour late for work so just paid it. A strange dichotomy: pretty good food, but embarrassing, pathetic service. The steak salad I had was fantastic, and my wife's burger was very good. The hostess didn't give us a kids menu. Apparently, they were going to print one for us. We did not ever get one. No crayons, nothing. Took 12 minutes for our servers to acknowledge us, despite having what appeared to be one other table. Mac and cheese came with no sides, for no apparent reason. Maybe it's just that healthy on its own. A request for a side of vegetables was $4. So, my daughter ended up with a more expensive dinner than my wife. Then our ridiculous waiter gave us the wrong check, didn't apologize, and didn't take a single plate away. The hostess never even lifted her head to greet us, then after standing there for at least ten minutes she asked one of the servers to seat us which she didn't even respond just walked away. Eventually we were seated and left to sit for 14 minutes before anyone even came to the table, it just got worse from there the food was slow coming out our server never maintenanced the table then when we asked for dessert she said to go right. One of the best places to eat in Kingman. We've been in 5 or so times since they reopened at the new location, after rarely going to the old one. The food is really quite good... husband and I are declaring the burgers the best in Kingman. Steaks have been excellent. Sweet potato fries were undercooked, baked sweet potato was overcooked. Since the bleu cheese burger is so amazing, we can overlook the fries! The service has been absolutely above reproach every single time. I'm not sure how the other people are getting poor service. I've been in on busy nights, and again today where we were only one of three tables in the place (during off hours). The service has been excellent every time. Biggest disappointment is they took their hand-battered onion rings off the appetizer menu... they were amazing. read more

The food was average and I am pretty sure it was margarine not butter. The soup was very good and the salad came covered in dressing. Plate with wet napkins for the ribs.
