Well I don't like to do bad reviews but this place deserves it. This is the 3rd chance we have given this place. We took our company there for dinner and it was expensive and the food was horrible. The girls ordered salmon and it was only cooked on the thin pieces. And soft and watery where it was not done and it had a fishy Odor so us girls did not eat much of it I had garlic mashed potatoes I mean how can you mess up mashed potatoes well our potatoes were like a blop of hardened lumpy potatoes my husband had filet and asked for it medium and his plate was covered in blood when he cut into it and they rolled up some kin d of meat in a circle and called it filet with bacon wrap that the bacon was not cooked well either. Our other party ordered a large steak and it was also on the bloody side and he told the waiter that that happened last time he ate there and it came out that way again yuck. It cost 161.62 for 4 of us and only 3 of us had a beer so the meal was way to expensive and l left there hungry that just should not happen. We would have sent it back but we have heard what happens to peoples food who send it back so we did not . The only positive of the nite was our server was running his but off and trying to make everyone he had to wait on happy. We will not be back 3 strikes and you are off my list of restaurants to choose from and the presentation of food on our plate was horrible just like the food read more

The food was average and I am pretty sure it was margarine not butter. The soup was very good and the salad came covered in dressing. Plate with wet napkins for the ribs. But the table next to us got nothing. Our service was ok. For the price, we would expect better than a sizzler atmosphere. Concrete floors and TV blaring in the background. Ok first of all this place should have 5 stars from everyone. If you are looking for fancy, 3 courses, this is NOT your place. It's a chop house. My steak ( medium rare Delmonico) was amazing. One of the best steaks I've ever had. The wait staff was great, and I was here on New Year's Eve. Don't get me started on the Banana's Foster... Best desert I've ever had. I would give zero stars if that were an option. We were very excited to come here and when we walked in, we thought we got lucky because there were only 3 other smaller tables. The two older waitresses were very short and rude. We sat for 10 minutes with no one else acknowledging us. No waters, no appetizer. When they finally remembered us, they lady gave us attitude because we asked for a kids menu and she had to go "print some". Another 10 minutes went by STILL no drink order was taken. We got up to leave and the waitress actually had the audacity to get mad at us for doing so. RIDICULOUS. I will not ever be back and I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. I can honestly say this was the most disgusting burger I have ever attempted to eat in my life. It was a prepessed frozen party they was thin and dry. We're visiting from Michigan & yelped this restaurant because we wanted steak and salad. The steakhouse salad was ok but the delmonico, sides, sautéed mushrooms were all fantastic. The service was wonderful- we had 4 people making sure we were having a good experience but I never felt bothered. Besides the service, the food was amazing. We are on special diets so had several requests that were graciously provided. Salmon was one of the best I've had. Sirloin steak cooked perfectly. My husband and I stopped in Kingman for the night (staying at the nearby, cool KOA (really) and asked for restaurant recommendations. The gal at the front desk told us about the Chophouse and she wasn't wrong. Our dinner was EXCELLENT! Been here twice and both times the food were on point. The first time I went there, I had the filet mignon. The meat was very tender and juicy. It has a lot of flavor and a natural sweetness to it that you don't really need to eat it with a sauce. It came with a side of mashed potatoes and it was probably one of my favs I had so far. The second time around, I ordered the grilled chicken salad. The salad was very fresh and the chicken was well seasoned and definitely was not dry! Came here for lunch from a stop over from Grand Canyon West. The restaurant is clean and up to date. We were here for lunch on a Thursday at 11:15 AM. I ordered a Blue Cheesse burger which was really good. Wifey had a steak and sweet potatoe which was good as well. The staff was good and our waiter the guy with the silver scooter was very friendly, quick and attentive. My husband and I recently moved to Kingman and had asked around for a great steak restaurant. Chophouse was recommended to us and they were absolutely right on. We went on a Tuesday night which is "date night" and also on a Sunday for the special breakfast. The service was great, the food excellent and the owner, Dondi, came over to greet us and give us samples of the salmon which was excellent too. Service was great and prices were actually reasonable compared to quality and amount of food (my ribs were about $17 and steaks ranged from $18-$30) If your cheap then DON'T go to a steakhouse, it's not rocket science, people. Tonight my family and I went to The Kingman Chophouse for dinner.Our waitress (Stacy) was awesome and made sure we were well taken care of. All of us adults ordered steaks and my nephew ordered the mac and cheese. All I can say was, the food was fabulous! Our steaks were cooked perfectly and they tasted awesome. The service was good. Jessica and the Host were very friendly but we felt it was definitely over priced. I guess 8pm was to late to go out to dinner there because there was only 1 Prime Rib dinner left, they had run out of Tea bags for hot tea and didnt carry Modello beer anymore even though it was on there draft beer list. Salads were just leaf lettuce with a sprinkle of shredded cheese Steaks were cooked well but pork chop was very dry and hard to cut. 4 of us over $100 with no hard drinks we should have at least gotten cloth napkins? read more

The absolute best restaurant in town! Steaks are expertly cut and cooked. We generally get the Senior special with filet, salad and baked sweet potato. Excellent taste and cooked to perfection. I got a glass of wine and received a generous portion. Definitely a great place for a nice dinner. read more

WTF!? We were driving to Vegas and wanted to stop for a quick snack and a drink. Not too many choices so we decide on Kingman Chophouse. Again, WTF!? We walk in the door and are greeted enthusiastically by one of the servers. My wife had to use the restroom so I sat at the bar and ordered a beer. I think that this was the first time our server had ever poured a beer as it took about 15 minutes to get my drink. While she was struggling with the beer my wife had made it back and ordered a water and a lemon drop martini, which is a staple at many a fine steak establishment. As my server was taking a break from attempting to pour my beer, we hear her reaching out to another associate asking how to make a lemondrop martini. Not a big deal, she looks like she's new to the bar area. As the gentleman comes to the bar area with his newly found lemondrop martini recipe illuminated on his phone and ready to pour, my wife and I look at each other hoping for the best. As soon as he gets behind the bar, the server that was attempting to pour my beer abruptly says to the new guy, "And can you pour this f*#&ing IPA for me too?" and walks away. Now we are waiting with baited breath to see what else is going to happen and there it is, the martini is served! My wife waits an additional 5 minutes for my flat beer to finally make it's way in and we get to wet our whistles! My wife takes a drink and almost throws up! WTF is this? Apparently the recipe our dear young friend found calls for a salt rim?! Are you serious? Salt is not spelled s-u-g-a-r! We ask for another one with a sugar rim and are taken care of right away! While all of this is going on another person comes and takes our food order. She was very nice and the food came out very quickly! We ordered the caprese and a Caesar as we weren't very hungry. This is the first time that I have had a caprese with dried basil, very interesting. I also cannot remember the last time we received a Caesar that came with the dressing on the side. If you like dressing you are going to love this place! They gave us a bowl that was almost as big as Lake Mead before the drought. We asked to have it tossed if possible with just half of the dressing (just to be safe) and got it back drenched. As Rachael Ray would say, "Yummo"! Bad meal! We asked for Medium well prime rib and got rare! Could not even chew! I ordered Pinot Noir and got cheat house red wine. I complained about the wine: the color was dark red and the taste was like the wine from the box and the waiter showed me unopened bottle of Estancia Pinot Noir! Unbelievable! I have been to the chophouse more than a 1/2 dozen times. The last time I was there I had the Delmonico steak. The steak was good and cooked to order. I was a little put off by the fact that my baked potato that was topped with the works, was topped with margarine instead of real butter. I mean REALLY!
