I have worked next to this place for years and you would never know there is a big tap room in the back with over 80 craft beers, ales, IPAs, lagers, ciders and so on. The staff is very knowledgeable about most of them. We were served by a new staff member Misha and she was the sweetest. Also, schooled on many of the brews by Alec and served up a couple of glasses by Chris. I asked if they had anything close to a Snakebite and they didn't really so I stuck with the Pizza Port Amber which was delicious! They offer 5oz, 10oz and 16oz pours which is awesome if you want to try a bunch of different varieties. No food, but their convenience store offers plenty of snacks to puchase, chips, nuts etc. You can also bring in your own food or doordash to the location. Seems very dog friendly as well. Everyone was very nice and the beer so good. I will definitely be back. read more

I've visited Phoenix a few times before but this was my first time at King's. A friend of mine had suggested this place and I'm glad he did! First there's a beer and wine store but then you go through the door to the other side and it's a full on bar with a fantastic selection of beers on tap, around 70! I give the selection of beers on tap and to go five stars, the service that day at three stars. The service wasn't bad, it was slow due to the fact that there was one guy on and the place was packed for an event. In fact I give the bartender five stars for maintaining his positive attitude and demeanor the whole time. Two more bartenders came on an hour later and things got better. All in all I would definitely return next time for a pint and some beers to go. read more

I was in town for one night and wanted to have a good beer. I ended up staying until close playing darts with the owner Vin who is an amazing super friendly guy. He recommended some of the best 3 smoothie sour beer I have ever tried and ended up leaving with a growler. I will come back to King's every time I am in town. Man, I used to like this place so much. Unfortunately after our latest visit I doubt I'll be returning. The main issue was the price of our beer. My friend requested a flight but with so many options asked the bartender to pick. I had two beers and my other friend had two beers. Four basic beers, one surprise flight, and a $95 bill. Turns out some of the 2oz samples were $10+ and the flight was over $60. The menu says 5oz is the smallest pour, but there's no way the tiny snifters had more than 2-3oz of beer. We also were greeted with temperature checks and yelled at for not having our masks on when we entered. There were no signs on the door (turns out it was on the backside of the open front door). The bartender proceeded to ask us in a very patronizing way if we cared about others. After a strange arguement, we put our masks on so he could take our temperature, walked 2 feet to the table, and sat for an hour with no masks on. Not trying to be critical of their requirement, although we had been in 5 other places that day with no masks and no issues, but they certainly could have handled it better. If I return, it will be for bottled beer only. They have a great selection and reasonable prices in the convenience store section, but the draft beer is extremely overpriced. read more

There might be a better bottle shop/taproom than Kings in this country, but I haven't found it yet. On any given day you can find 800-900 bottles and cans in shop along with 70+ handles pouring upper tier beers in the tap room. In a span of two nights, my buddy and I managed to drop about 1K on some of the best beers we have had in a while from some breweries we just don't see distributed in Sin City. Our most recent visit was on a Thursday afternoon after a Cactus League game and before the Covid protocol rollback. Temperatures were checked and we were seated at a socially distanced table. Taster pours and flights are available for all beers on tap. The most significant difference I noticed about the taps at Kings is the presence of Schramm's Meadery, Firestone, and Bottle Logic. The beer flight I had, although the most expensive I've ever paid for a flight, was definitely the best. Before you go, don't forget to take home some bottles and cans. Again, I saw breweries I don't usually see in Vegas including Drekker, Energy City, Hubbard's Cave, 903, and Untitled Art. Bottle Logic bottles were on special that night 2 for$50. The selection is pretty overwhelming, but the employees will be more than happy to help you find what you're looking for or offer suggestions on what's been flying off the shelves. They also have a user-friendly online ordering system that is updated daily and you can pick up in store if you don't want to browse there. Cheers Kings! read more
