My 7 year old niece found a chopstick wrapper inside her pink lemonade. It was pretty gross. The server was not rude but not very friendly either. After we told him the wrapper was in the drink he did replace it but didn't seem very sorry. I felt they should have gave us free drinks because of that but still charged us. The servers are kind of rude and they don't smile. The food is ok. But if u plan on eating here I suggest u pay close attention to what ur putting in ur mouth. The food was just really bad. We went with 6 people and no one found anything they liked. For the Mongolian bbq the raw meat and seafood was not on ice - seems pretty dangerous. The avocado in the sushi was brown/rotting, so I'm not sure what that says about the fish. I would almost say inedible. read more

No stars if I could. Will not return. Came several years ago and was disappointed then as well. Returned only because someone invited me and decided to give this place another chance. Upon arrival it took forever to seat us, even though no one else was waiting to be seated. Finally I enter and the floors are dirty, our table, chairs and tabletop items (salt, soy sauce) were all crusty as if they have never been wiped down. The food was decent for what you'd expect for a buffet like this however I stuck to eating the same two things. I didn't use the restroom even though I wanted to after someone in my party told me how it was: filthy, the sink all grimy and moldy. If I find a way to report this place to health and safety I will definitely do so. I'm sure more than one has gotten sick simply because this place is so unclean. read more

Dude this place is so gross. I regret coming here yesterday for lunch with my boyfriend. The last time my boyfriend and I went here was for dinner, and it was ok/good that time. We hesitated on coming here based on the Yelp reviews, but we decided to go because we were starving. The only good food here were the cheese mussels, the crab rangoons, the shrimp, and some soups. The fried rice had no taste and smelled like dish washer soap, the sushi had rotten avocado used inside, more than half the food was cold due to no heater underneath.. basically I paid $18 for two people just to eat three types of food, and I didn't go back for thirds. We went there today for lunch. The BBQ part of the restaurant was closed do to manning. Should have been indicator number 1 it was going to be a rough lunch. Wife and I both filled the plates with different items from the buffet and the food was cold! We watched them stock the buffet as we were choosing our items and even still when biting into them the center of the chicken was cold and nasty. I WOULDNT feed my dog food from this place. Once upon a few years ago, this place was the place to go. Now, it's just... crap! Very disappointing. My family and I ate here for my nephew's birthday, and we quickly regretted it. Their staff communication was very poor seeing as how the hostess told us that the birthday celebrant eats for free then another staff member told us we have to pay. That's the least of the matter, as we didn't care for paying. The service was poor. We were ignored plenty of times when we asked for things such as soda/refills and extra utensils. Before we were given anything we asked for, the server never failed to make us repeat ourselves then give us the dirty look from the corner of her eyes (or roll them). They didn't care to check up on us except when counting heads in our party, repeatedly! Their food was mediocre at best. I had a bowl of lukewarm tofu soup and various samples. I tried the fried calamari, which didn't last in my mouth very long. It was so chewy that I couldn't even break it in half. The coconut shrimp had too much heavy cream, and their cream cheese wonton was literal to its name with all cream cheese and nothing else. The sushi and sashimi station was dark and consisted of only two utensils for picking up food. I didn't dare try much more, especially because I had to wipe three plates before I was somewhat satisfied with its cleanliness. It seemed as though they rushed through washing the dishes, and didn't realize that there were residues left on most. I asked for chopsticks so I didn't have to use the fork. The restaurant has a rule stating that if your child is over 5 ft tall, he/she will be charged as an adult. On the contrary, if you're an adult under 5 ft tall, you will still be charged as an adult. After spending around $200 for my wedding party and myself after the rehearsal, the waiter rudely told my Wife: "You know the tip isn't included in the bill, right?" Tip? For what? Spilling drinks on my groomsmen? Being hard to understand when he was taking our drink orders? Food choice wise, plenty to choose from. It's a Chinese buffet and Mongolian BBQ. Have you ever walked away from a Chinese buffet saying "Man, that was the best Chinese food I've ever eaten!"? I think not. Will you say that about this place? I think not. It should really only get two stars, but I let it keep one extra star for the Mongolian BBQ using fresh meats instead of frozen shaved meats like other Mongolian BBQ joints. Still years after my first initial review, I still say this place isn't the best I've had. It is a little better in quality and food variety than other buffets in the area. The best thing I've eaten here so far is the korean short ribs and even they were super greasy! When things are cooked on the grill, you'd expect some of the oil to burn away but this place defies the laws of physics. First off the ladies bathroom was absolutely disgusting. There was throw up in the sink and at least two whole rolls of toilet paper on the floor and counters. I left the bathroom and told the staff when I first arrived, at the end of my visit I still had to use the restroom so I went back and it was in the same condition. My sister and I ate at this restaurant yesterday. The food was disgusting and some looked like it had been sitting there for days. The wait staff never acknowledged us never smiled or spoke to us other than asking how many were in our party. The table we were seated at was filthy sticky are around it. It was pricey. Last time I came here with my family, they sat us down in their private/back room reserved for another family's 50th birthday party. It wasn't like the other part of the restaurant was filled either, it was just poor seating management on their part! It was a bit uncomfortable, considering but whatever I guess... I'm not a fan of Chinese buffets and I usually find nothing enjoyable to munch on. King's buffet at least has a nice salad selection, for they have mushrooms, beats, olives, jalapeno peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers and more! Pretty shocking for a Chinese buffet, but I'll take it. I also liked their texas toast, but the salad and texas toast shouldn't be the two items I enjoy at a CHINESE buffet. It's a buffet, you get what you pay for. I've come here numerous times over the years and the service is always great, very kind workers. The food at dinner is way better than lunch, try not to come after maybe 7, because then the food (it's a 2 hour hot case) is still safe to eat but not as succulent as it could be. When we come for dinner we get here between 5 and 6 and have never had a problem with freshness or taste. As for the guy that found a hairball, I doubt that. MAAAAYBE but after having been a regular here for 12 years, I've never had hair or anything in my food that shouldn't have been there. Better than Hometown Buffet, not quite as good as Wah Shine. There is something for everybody, but some children may not like it too much. It's cheap and fills you up. I like the Mongolian BBQ section where you pile and pile as much meat, veggies, and noodles as you like. No need to mash down the rolled meat that takes up more space. A decent looking salad bar that I didn't try because of the aforementioned Mongolian BBQ. Service was quick and by the time we leave the table to get more, the dirty plates we left behind were already cleared. I've only been here once and from my experience, I left more than satisfied. I was surprised to see that the average rating of this buffet is only a 2/5 since I found it to be pretty decent but to each his own, I guess. If you know me, you know my appetite and boy.. can I eat. The first thing I always look for at Chinese buffets like these is a Mongolian BBQ station so when I saw that this place had one, I was already happy. What disappointed me about their Mongolian BBQ, though, was how undercooked their shrimp was. I mean, I could already tell it hadn't been fully cooked by just looking at it so I'm not too sure what made the dude cooking it for me think it was done but whatever. This seems to be an issue at most Mongolian BBQ stations in buffets I've been to so I let it pass pretty easily. Two other things I look for in buffets, especially during dinner hours, are crab and crawfish. I don't remember if they only two different types of crab like other buffets do but all I know is that I went through two plates full of crab legs and two plates of crawfish. I didn't try any of the standard buffet dishes so I can't say much about them but there was a huge selection. Our server lagged with bringing our table our crackers to crack open those crab legs and always forgot whenever we asked for refills on our beverages. I'll give this place 3 stars because of the cleanliness, mongolian BBQ station, king crab legs, and crawfish. If we go to a Chinese (or for that matter any) food Buffet this is the place. They have something for everyone and the food is pretty good. Don't get me wrong there are better Chinese food places just no better buffets. In this economy I can barely afford to pay attention so I cant go out to eat that much but his place is pretty good and not too painful on the wallet. read more

Uhm, dude... NO. First off I have to say that I was never, and will never, be a fan of buffets. ESSSSPPEEEECIIIAAALLY buffets with crappy junk food. Sure, I'll go for higher end buffets, but even then I'm not sure I can justify shelling out X amount of dollars for a whole bunch of non-edible food - higher end or not.
