My Kirby's experience was fun went out with buddies to drink. Great deals only downfall was music selection was poor

If there was a negative rating they would get it from me! I can't believe still after almost 2 weeks I was spoken to the way I was by the bartender with the blonde hair in a bun. He was condescending when he made my drink wrong as I ordered a Captain and ginger with a lime and I politely asked if that was a Captain and coke, he got the biggest attitude in the world! Then we ordered food which took 16 minutes at 11:34 we expected to be almost done by Midnight when in fact we weren't done til after 12:15 and only because we rushed out with only one drink. I didn't even want to eat and asked for a to go container when he argued that if I wanted fast food McDonald's was down the street but if I wanted to leave before the food came out I would be paying for my full check. Glad the food came out right as I was about to get into it with the guy and request management assistance. I can not believe someone like that is in the service industry. Super disappointing because I feel like after not frequenting that establishment because I moved away for 8 years and now I'm back I will not go in there EVER again!!!! He needs to check his attitude at the door! And become a little more humble when u don't listen to what the customer has ordered. Plus he needs to read the law because technically I never ate the food I ordered so I could have left by paying for drinks only! Jerk. read more

Love this place and the staff. I am definitely a dive bar guy so this has everything I need. Video games, amazing wings and cheap beers. I recommend this spot to escape the heat and the hoopla of other massive bars in OC. read more

We went to dinner here last night and had mixed feelings about our experience. They were not completely full but they were understaffed. It took 40 minutes to get our food. The burger was the best burger ever and the price was right. The chicken Chesapeake was great but they did not bring the plasticware for eating. Took awhile to get plasticware. Our waitress was a bartender so she had another indifferent waitress check with us. She had no eye contact as she gave us water, napkins, etc. Then a different guy collected our check. So, we had 4 different servers. Loved the food but service was not good. read more

Best bartenders in OC, great food, affordable drinks. Has become my favorite stop every time I'm in OC.

Pretty rude bartenders the night we went in. Food was just ok. This is a bar for Townies, and I think they want to keep it that way.

Their website is crap and the links to their menu don't work. For having such a great reputation, as an out of towner, this place wasn't off to a great start. read more

Only rating on the bias of there Old bay wings. They are some of the best in town. They also won me over by having dogfish head on tap. We've been here a couple of times now. The service can be rough from time to time as they seem understaffed for the crowd. read more

The quintessential, little dive bar. Been in there many times over many years. Decent bar food and the best steamed shrimp ever. It's dark and a little dingy, but always in our to do list when in OC. read more

Kirby's has to be one of my most favorite places in OC. I love the steamed shrimp and the seafood club is great too. Lot of fun with friends though very small. Bartenders are a lot of fun too. Lots of parking. Great place to check out. read more

Great local spot with cold beer and warm food. Steamed shrimp was delicious and the bartender, Lisa, was super nice and inviting.

The good: shrimp yummy but so spicy my lips hurt; generous sized garden salad; croutons were delicious which I know sounds weird. The waitress was not friendly but not mean but much nicer to guys. NO SIDES except their fries?? No hush puppies or cole slaw or corn on the cob? You're at the BEACH. And no thank you when I left! Meh. read more

Not fancy but just great. Get a drink and some great food. My opinion best steamed ship in ocean city hands down. When you order get the jumbo shrimp, they use really good wild caught shrimp. The shrimp salad sandwich is excellent as well. Love and care in making the food in the kitchen. Burger, French dip, chicken breast all good. Seafood club is killer. Staff is great and very attentive. No wonder this is locals spot year round. Kirbys is my reliable go to joint. read more

This is one of my favorite pubs in OC! It's small on size but big on quality and service. Kids are welcome as well. What a neat little place. My favorite potato skins are served here. I also adore the steamed shrimp anad wings. read more

This bar is absolutely filthy!!! The smell as you walk in hits you in the face foot long dust hanging from the ceiling. The bathroom smelled better then the bar area. Kitchen staff were "meeting people" in the parking lot.... the bartender, tended to the obvious regulars and we were on an island. How does the bar pass health inspection, it's beyond me. Great local pub! It's hard to find much fresh made food in oc. The steamed shrimp is served hot right out of the steamer and covered in old bay just as they should be served. The steamed jumbo lump crab was some of the best crab meat I've ever had (raised in md). Kirby was walking around and bought us a round of shots. I'll be back here time I come to oc. read more

Order steamed shrimp, wings, quesadilla, or a burger. The French Dip sandwich is good too. They have a huge menu and much of the other items just aren't that good. Be warned... this place puts olives in everything. They actually have black olives cooked into the chili too. The Kirbys nachos... pub chips smothered in large amounts of cold onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños are disgusting. Avoid this item. This place is NOT child friendly.. fyi. This is a decent spot! Nice beer selection. I love any place that serves Yuengling beer. I had a chicken Cesar wrap and chips. The wrap was good. Little bar known for its food, good servers and bartenders. Bar gets busy real fast and overly crowded. But this place has the BEST wings in Ocean City. I will dream about those wings for the next ten years. So good I get tempted to drive 2 hours for wings. This bar is always on my list when I go to OC. read more

It honestly should be illegal to serve wings this good, it is just not fair to all the other places. Go for the "Bangin' Wings" if you are ever in there. Service was good and a pretty standard beer list. I had a great time eating and drinking here with my friends. This place serves the best burgers EVER. And that's saying something, because I'm really not much for hamburgers at all. They also have so many flavors of wings, my favorite is their old bay wings. I come here for lunch at least once when I visit OC. Their food has cured some of my worst hangovers, haha. Note that it is a pretty small bar, and sometimes it takes a little while for the wait staff to refill your drink (which is a pet peeve for me, but in comparison to their food I can overlook this). Haven't been here yet for happy hour, but you should definitely come here for lunch sometime- Kirby's is a hidden gem. read more

Our first time here and definitely our last. The bar top is dirty and sticky. The staff are not friendly and the food mediocre at best. The bread was hard and the shrimp skimpy and reheated. The potato skins were not fresh either. Drinks in a cheap plastic bathroom type cup. Cheap plastic forks. Just a bad idea all around. Dark and dreary and not very clean. Delicious food that comes in large portions, great beer, and it's the closest to my condo, so it's usually my last stop on a night out.

The blackened grouper I ordered was way overcooked. When I told the waiter, he tried to tell me they had to overcook it. I have had blackened grouper many times and it was the worst I have ever had. He didn't seem to care one bit. Could not even eat around the edges, too hard. Won't go back again. Poor attitude from bartender/waiter. read more

I have been going there for years. It's a small bar/restaurant in the middle of a strip mall. But don't let that fool you. This place has a neighborhood bar feel with good music and good food. While there is no bank of TVs like sports bars there always seems to be a TV in sight to catch a game. There is also a small amount of videogames in the rear that can keep kids and grownups occupied. Prices for drinks or food or reasonable for a resort town. It always surprises me that you usually can get a table on a summer weekend or it's a reasonable wait. The house garlic chicken wings are about the best I've ever had. On Tuesdays they offered for a special price. Surprisingly good burger and other menu items. The only strange part is that they offer in-house fried chips but not french fries. If you're at the bar service is great but if you are at one of the tables it can run hot and cold. While it's a small place it's always busy busy. This is a small local casual place and it never seems to disappoint. read more

Kibry's is always on my bar crawl list. Good dive bar with excellent food and cold drafts. The chicken wings are top three on my list in the region. Get the old goat wings, steam shrimp or crab dip. Staff is always friendly. read more
