Some banging wings! BLT was loaded with bacon!
    Jana L.

I liked it it's divey and definitely geared towards adults but if you are looking for a casual hang and some crispy, saucy wings - it's right up your alley. I would def go back - nothing fancy but some sports on the TV, wings and a cold beer to break up the summer heat (or get out of the rain in our case) - it's a win!

A go to in OC with great staff and welcoming clientele that is not 'clicky' like some other year round places. Very good food and I love their steamed shrimp. Prices are fair with a great atmosphere to catch a game or just getting out of the het and grabbing a drink.

Hands down my favorite shrimp! I also love how the bartenders steam them right behind the bar. Best pub atmosphere!

Love the steamed shrimp. Served with onions if you like. Wings are good too. Bars food menu. Bartenders are super friendly and helpful. Long bar that fills up quick. Tables do as well. Locals and everyone visiting love it.

Right off the bat, this is dive bar atmosphere. We went in there expecting very little, food wise. We were pleasantly surprised. The place is small and on busy days can feel cramped. It's worth it. All 4 of us have nothing but positive things to say about the food. The roast beef club was HUGE. The beef was tasty and plentiful. The chicken tenders Nere phenomenal with great seasoning and cooked perfectly. The French Dop was amazing. Two diners who eat French Dip regularly said i was the best they had and surpassed the place they get it at home. The French fries? Wow. A basket of fries was enough to feed the whole table and the seasoning was amazing. Now let's talk about their chips. When you see homemade chips on a menu you know it's usually a vanity, cheap filler. This is NOT THE CASE here. The Kirby chips are CRAZY good. One diner who.will not eat chips tried one and said even though he's not a chip eater these had an amazing taste. We had sodas, 2 mixed drinks and a draft. Beer was ICE cold. Mixed drinks were perfect. Definitely not watered down. The atmosphere is dive bar. Not my scene and almost walked out. The music and people are loud. The space is limited. But the FOOD is amazing. I didn't expect much and now l'm embarrassed by that judgemental thought. It's so good we added their menu to our realtors' menu book in our rental. Will we be back? ABSOLUTELY and probably this week. We like to try different places but this place deserves a second visit.

This place is awesome good hamburger, best steamed shrimp and wings. Will go back again to try other food. The vibe here is great and loud. Only negative gets crowded after 6.

The bartenders made me promise not to post this pic. I lied. Awesome shrimp as last time. Burger well done not medium rare as ordered. But still tasty. Nice bourbon crush. And if you ask for a Bud Light, they will bring you one!

Definitely a good local spot. I stopped in with a few coworkers while we were there for a conference. We grabbed a high top table for six and were taken care of by the bartender. The food was all good but the entrees came out way before some of the appetizers. Not sure why a salad came out over five minutes after the entrée even though it was supposed to come first. At that point I didn't even want it. The bartender was super busy and we had to get up and go to the bar to obtain extra silverware and some drink refills. I still highly recommend the food and beverages.

We started with a tasting board and chose three cheeses and three meats. It comes with a ton of additional accoutrements. It's a little expensive but worth it to try some fantastic cheese. I had the Cacio e pepe with scallops that was on special. I didn't love the pasta, the sauce was bland despite the peppery flavor but the scallops were well cooked and definitely the best part of the dish. For dessert we did a giant doughnut ice cream sandwich which was the star of the show. Paired with an espresso martini and I was extremely happy to finish off dinner! It's a refreshing change from the typical boardwalk dining experience. The food was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the perfectly seared scallops, rich and flavorful oysters Rockefeller, and a well-prepared steak that was cooked exactly as ordered. The cocktail program was equally impressive, both the martini and Old Fashioned were expertly crafted. As a bourbon and whiskey enthusiast, I particularly appreciated the extensive selection available here. It was nice to find quality whiskey options beyond the sweet, fruity summer cocktails that dominate many Ocean City menus. The service was attentive, the atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, and the overall experience was excellent. Definitely a place we'll return to on future trips.

Last summer was my first visit after seeing some friends recommend and following them on social media. We had their longboard wings, veggie wrap and jerk chicken wrap. Everything was DELICIOUS! On Wednesday of this week I stopped in for lunch with my dog and we sat on the 'boardwalk' which is what they call part of their outdoor section. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They offer a water bowl and a complimentary piece of bacon for the pups. My dog was thrilled as you can see by one of the pics =) On this visit I tried the wrinkled green been app and the St. Croix chopped salad. Both were very good. My dog ordered the kids burger plain with no bun. He had no complaints! I stole his fries which were yummy. Luke was our server on my most recent visit. He provided excellent service! He even helped me gain some more insight on bringing a large party there later this year. He got me in touch with one of the managers and I am currently coordinating with them. The addiction wings are award winning for a reason. I did not order some of my favorites tonight, but are worth mentioning. The franchos, wrinkly green beans, and any of the wings. I often just order the franchos and wings to split with my husband as our entire meal. There is also great indoor and outdoor seating options. When they expanded and put the bar on a different side, it opened the restaurant up a lot and made it so much more enjoyable. Very kid friendly with good kids meals. Nothing fancy like some places try to do. They stick to kraft Mac n cheese and white bread. Your kids will be happy too.

I'll give the restaurant a 4 star review for the sauces and food combinations. The fish and pork chops were an excellent choice for my guests. Unfortunately I ordered the flank steak, medium rare. I didn't send it back which would have ruined the mood of the dinner, but the pork chop took 25 minutes to prepare. The flank steak came out luke warm and was not at all tender. It would have been better medium or medium well as it was a bit rubbery. The server should have warned me when she indicated to my guest that she preferred the pork chop. She was a bit abrupt and talked too fast. The Parker house rolls were a bit dry, not warm and tough. I'm from Baltimore and Parker house rolls are should be warm, soft with a lovely aroma and melt in your mouth. The honey butter helped but not enough. We ordered the strawberry short cake for dessert. The presentation was lovely and the strawberries fresh and sweet, but the short cake was dry. I assume it was awarded the James Beard for the sauces and creative combinations, which admittedly were wonderful, but there are some simple things the chef needs to consult his grandmother on how to prepare.

This is a beautiful restaurant overlooking the bay, perfect for a romantic dinner or celebration. We shared the Beet salad which was nicely brought to us on two plates and was quite fillings. The Smoked Cheddar Pierogis with sauerkraut and fried apples was delicious, not heavy or smoky. My husband had the Petit Filet mignon then a creme brulee for dessert which was small, thin, light, and wonderfully creamy. It came topped with strawberries. The indoor dining area is elegant, comfortable and romantic. You can watch the sunset but at the table by the windows, you may be a bit blinded by the sun until it sets and it got rather warm in the sun. It was worth it - watching the birds fly into the marsh and hop around. Previously, we have also sat outside on the small balcony at the high two person tables and high chairs. There is a better view of the bay from inside the restaurant since the restaurant and apartment building does not block the view on the sides. The calamari was cooked well but probably my least favorite thing I ate here. The Caesar salad dressing was some of the best I've ever had. 8 of the 10 of us got the short rib dish and I don't think anyone had any complaints, it was VERY good. The other two girls got the brick chicken and a filet mignon, both said theirs were good as well. Overall a great dinner experience, would come back if I'm back in town!

The decor is spot on, just so nice all around! Let's go on to the service. I'm going to shout out Caleb he was great all around very attentive. Answered all my annoying questions haha. Really fantastic. The wait times for food were just right, didn't take too long but didn't rush you. So now for me to talk way too much. OH MY GOD THE FOOD! This is easily the best food I've had in southern delaware. Hands down, full stop. I got a blackened catfish over a red beet salad. The fish was fresh! Yes fresh in February I'm impressed. The blackened seasoning was so good, just spicy enough to make me smile but not too spicy to be unpleasant. Flaky and perfectly cooked I was not disappointed in any way or another. How about the salad? Well, it was a kale salad which I'm not normally a fan of. But the elements of the salad were perfect, the toasted walnuts, the beets, apples, just everything about married in flawless harmony. Even my mother-in-law agreed the kale salad was great. 10/10, 5/5, whatever you want to call it this was an out of the park experience! Drinks, a new addition to my review this week haha. The bar tenders do a "great pour" per my wife and father-in-law. Me, I stick with non-alcoholic and oh man they nailed that too. This is just all good, like whole thing is great. Thank you for an awesome lunch, keep rolling folks!

I will summarize my two most recent family dinners here during the Thanksgiving and Christmas weekends: Marlene took our 5:30 PM dinner reservation over the phone. I was here with my family of nine including two children for Friday night dinner after Thanksgiving day upstairs at a corner table. I started with my spicy margarita for $14. We also shared a bottle of Duckhorn Decoy Brut champagne for $52, which was reduced down to $26 by 50% off due to Friday 50% off on all wine bottles. The Decoy brut champagne was excellent. We also shared and enjoyed the crab dip for $21. We also shared and enjoyed three dozen raw oysters samplers for a total of $81. I also enjoyed my crispy duck confit special with pappardelle, basil pesto, fried onion and garlic chilli vinaigrette for $32. My total bill was $455 excluding gratuity. Morelia C. (nicknamed Mo) served us very well as usual despite us having two children. We first met Mo, when she bartended at the downstairs bar, when we were here prior for many Sunday afternoon happy hours. We returned here again with my larger family of 14 including five children for dinner on the Saturday after Christmas. We had a 5:30 PM dinner reservation. We were again seated immediately upstairs. I started with and enjoyed my two Makers Mark Manhattans up for $15 each. We also shared and enjoyed two dozen raw oysters samplers for $27 per dozen. We also ordered and enjoyed one dozen of the more expensive Raspberry Points for $48. Raspberry Point Oysters are premium, cold-water farmed oysters from Prince Edward Island (PEI), Canada, prized for their firm meat, distinct briny flavor with a sweet finish, and deep cups, taking 5-7 years to mature in New London Bay's tidal waters. They're known for being easy to shuck and popular in gourmet settings due to their consistent quality and appealing salty-sweet profile. We also shared the calamari for $17 and the devilled eggs for $19. I also enjoyed my confit lamb shank for $38. Caleb M. served us very well despite us having five children. My total bill was $737 excluding gratuity. Caleb applied our Indian River High School band 10% discount to our bill, which reduced the total from $737 down to $663 excluding gratuity. On Sunday's our favorite bartender is Nick C. Nick said hello, when we visited during the Thanksgiving holiday. We will continue to return here with family and friends for happy hour, lunch or dinner.

SO, we decided we had the time, we were hungry & nearby, so we made our way to what is now called Whiskers Saloon. We were greeted warmly by Jay who was manning both the bar and customers at tables. We took some time to peruse the 2 page menu looking for both old favorites and what's new. I decided to try one of my usual sandwiches, The Rachel for comparison sake & added Sweet potato fries (additional upgrade). I asked & was happy the special spicy sauce I loved to combine with the fries was still available under a different name, Texas sauce. I will say, my sandwich was much better than in "the old days" because this was made with actual carved turkey thick slices as opposed to thin cold cut turkey from prior ownership. I was a happy camper! My hubby tried something new to him at Whiskers, he had a chicken cheesesteak sub and was pleasantly surprised and impressed to find it was not finely chopped up chicken, but cut up grilled chicken chunks with nicely sautéed onions. We were happy to return, pleased to find that good quality & taste was still there and its what we were used to after almost 15 years of frequenting here.
