UPDATING MY REVIEW: before; 4/5 Recently I went back for a matcha with a couple of my friends, but when ordering my matcha. It was like 30 minutes before their closing time but the cashier looked really annoyed while my friend was talking and when we payed, with cash she said, "since you gave it to me all crumbled.." with a side eye and mind you it was jusy wrinkled after being in pants. She then rudely just threw the coins in the table and just walked away so fast. I was just atonished, like I never experienced something like this and horrible attitude! When I got the matcha it looks less prettier than when I got it a few weeks before too. Everything else was aesthetically pleasing and matcha was good, but this makes me not want to come again. tripple double matcha (pink foam w/ matcha): 8.7/10 - The was very pretty and instagramable but too sweet for me. They ueed high quality ceremonial matcha which had a nice balance. The price was $9.50 and thats pricey. strawberry matcha: 8/10 -It was cute but also too sweet. I tasted more strawberry milk but after you mixed it the strawberry color is gone. It was good though, they use high quality ingredients. sweet & spicy avocado toast: 7/10 -Not that spicy and more honey sweet flavor. Mobile ordering is killing the in-person customer experience... I waited in line, which moved at the speed of a car with four flat tires. While waiting, there was a seemingly never-ending stream of people weaving through the line trying to get to the mobile order pickup. No excuse me, just get out of my way... Well, no wonder the line is moving so slowly when you're competing against an army of phantom customers from the internet. Upon reaching the counter, I made my order and spotted a blueberry muffin in the pastry case with my name on it. "I'll take that blueberry muffin" I excitedly said. The server responded by saying, "Sorry, someone online just bought it." Fantastic. I'm here. You're here. The muffin is right here, not more than 12 inches from my hand. Let's do this! But no. Gone are the days when life was so simple. Something about that interaction and experience just felt so wrong. If it's sold, maybe take it out of the case. Just a thought. After ordering, I set the timer on my phone. I sat there still in a swarm of people navigating to the mobile pickup and counted the seconds. After 15 minutes, I finally asked one of the baristas if they forgot my order. She said, "We're working on it. We're kinda slammed [with mobile orders] sorry." Ah yes, the mobile orders. They are definitely more important than in-person customers. Makes sense. I said, while I can appreciate that, I'm here in-person and have been waiting 15 minutes. She just laughed at me. Approximately 17 minutes after placing my order for a single almond milk latte, I finally got my order. Upon leaving, the blueberry that had my name written all over was still sitting in the case taunting me. I will stick to Coffee Nature from now on where the baristas know your name, care about the in-person experience, and oh yeah -- they don't have mobile orders. Cute place to grab coffee or brunch! I got the breakfast burrito and a vanilla latte. The burrito was crispy and had well balanced flavors from the egg, cheese, avocado and rice but my favorite part was the green salsa. The latte was memorably good. Just a very robust and well roasted coffee bean. Plenty of parking nearby but finding seating can be tough. Would go back for sure, I heard their other locations have different menu items. read more

I'm a big breakfast girlie and I am so happy I discovered KIT! I tried their cilantro fried rice and their cinnamon brulee toast. I like a sweet and salty with my meal and this was the perfect match. The toast was Crispy, and sugary without being too overly sweet. The rice was the perfect savory bite to go with it. My sister in law got the lox toast which looked super light and refreshing. As for the drink, I tried a strawberry alarm clock - iced. The perfect little pick me up. The staff was really friendly, and there was plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. I usually love this locations for coffee and they make great cold espressos - however, today when I ordered an ube dream latte with a shot of espresso; it tasted much different than usual. I ordered this early in the morning, so maybe they used a bad batch of leftover coconut cream or something on top. The latte tasted sour/spoiled and was pretty much inedible :( read more

For something as simple as strawberry milk, I really enjoyed the flavor notes and would order this again. Atmosphere is nice and bright inside with plenty of sitting inside and outside. The cashier was extremely friendly and suggested his favorites for us to try. While speaking to us I watched him weigh the matcha to water ratio on a food scale. That sold me right there. Line to order on Saturday morning. The menu is not posted on the board, it's only 1 copy on the counter where you can only see when you order. (You can use my pictures as reference to look at the menu ahead of time.) I'm not sure if they expect people to spend 5-10 min at counter to decide what they want to regulate the flow of people, but I felt rushed to decide what I wanted to order. Cornbread matcha latte was actually good. The cream on top is creamy and tastes like cereal milk. Kimchi and fried egg avocado toast was pretty good for the flavor as it was. I personally prefer something else on avocado rather than kimchi though. I like the unique variety of flavors that is offered on the seasonal menu. We sat outside around short tables. Make sure you pick up your drinks at the counter even if you get a number for the table. The number is mainly for them to bring food. I can imagine that it would be a peaceful area but there was loud construction next door that ruined the vibe. We come to Kit on a weekly basis and even more than once a week sometimes. Lately the past 3-4 visits, I have been ordering a latte for here and they have been giving it to me in a to go cup.
