We both enjoyed our drinks they were refreshing and well crafted. For dinner I had a really hard time deciding! I wanted to try so many things! Our bartender said his favorite thing in the menu is the chicken and rice bowl. That was something I was considering and decided to go with that. Excellent recommendation! The chicken was flavorful and so tender. The hot peppers were a nice touch. There was a lot of food too! I couldn't finish it all. Mr had the hanger steak that was served with mushroom and asparagus risotto. He said the risotto was the best he's ever had, and I agree. The asparagus was perfectly cooked and so was the steak. Fair enough -- but from the moment we walked up, the manager at the host stand couldn't have cared less. She quoted a two-hour wait, shut down my question about sitting outside with a flat no, and pointed us toward the bar. No sense of customer service at all. Like zero. The three of us who were there took the last open seats at the bar. Then came the real show: one bartender for the entire restaurant AND bar. He ignored us for ten minutes. My wife and friend got their beers quickly -- but my bourbon sat finished at the service station for another seven minutes while I watched the large ice cube melting as it marinated there. When I finally asked where my drink was, I got "I'm working on it." When he did finally bring it, he pushed it across the bar at me -- no apology, no eye contact, his attention on anything but me. I'll be honest about what I can't prove: I've worked in this industry a long time, and the whole thing read like my service got intentionally slow-walked. My drink held back while everyone around me was taken care of. Maybe the front manager said something after our rocky start at the host stand. Maybe they're just all bad at their jobs. I can't tell you which. I can only tell you how obvious it felt from the barstool. Everything after was the same; menus, ordering, closing out, all a slog. I had to hunt down that same manager for our check so we could get to the show, and she was all attitude, zero help. We only escaped because my wife flagged a server who found a another manager. His response to hearing all this? "I'm sorry." Nothing else. No attempt to make it right. For the first time in my life, I left $0 on a $100 tab. I'm a 25%+ tipper. That's how badly this went. Here's the thing, 123 Tavern: if you're going to bill yourself as a place to gather before events, staff the place and train your managers to act like they want customers there. Until then, I'll spend my money somewhere that values it.

The vibe of the restaurant oozes with modern and industrial creativity! I was so intrigued to learn from our waitress about the history of the restaurant and the connection it has to Brann's, along with the innovative technology that was built into the experience...Ipads in the booths=awesome...Young family with kids' dream! The digital ceiling and phone chargers on the tables??? Whoever thought of those is a genius! The food is sublime. Everything cooked exactly how we wanted it, not a mistake made. The incorporation of local flavors on the menu is so creative and original. The flavors jump off the plate and leave you speechless. The presentation of the food is phenomenal as well-- I was thoroughly impressed. Our waitress checked in on us at exactly the right times and never missed a beat. K67 drinks are FABULOUS! What more do you need to hear in order to get yourself into Kitchen 67? The moment you walk in you're treated as if you've been expected all day. Such a welcoming and vibrant staff! The ambiance is very innovative with the digital ceilings, iPads in the booths as well as the bar, virtual Pepsi machine and phone chargers at the tables! The waitress was incredibly delightful and helpful with my dinner choice. She was spot on when she said I couldn't do wrong by ordering steak. Phenomenal..!! Their products are all extremely fresh- everyone could tell. Nothing tasted frozen, processed or cooked other than to perfection. Even the table next to mine mentioned that her salad was incredibly fresh, cold and crisp with every flavor coming to life- that's impressive. And who knew I could down warm savory rolls, an 8oz, two sides, (my side salad came with a chilled fork- amazing) and dessert! I love this place, from the moment you walk in you can tell the people who work there actually care about your experience. I first started coming in and getting drinks at there bar, they have a great selection of beers. The best part is they have cool liquors that I've never seen at other restaurants, even the "fancy" bars downtown don't have them. Trust me. I've asked, they just look at me all confused. The service is great all around, when I ask for a suggestion they don't just tell me the most expensive stuff on the menu, they tell me what's actually their favorites and why it's all so good. Now I bring in my family, grab a spot at one of their booths, my kids play with the iPad, which is great for me because it keeps them a lot busier than crayons and paper, and I can watch the game or actually have a conversation with my wife without being constantly interrupted by my kids. Kitchen67 is the place to be. I have dined there several times now and absolutely love it. On Tuesday nights they have a steak and bake special for a low price of 6.99. I order it medium rare and it always comes out just perfectly moist and tender. The chef has always come out to our table and made sure that our food taste great. He talks to us for a few moments before he heads on to the next tables. The server Clare was waiting on us and was great. She greeted us promptly and we didn't have to wait for anything. Went back yesterday with the fam and a friend. My wife, friend and I ordered the hangover burger and it was delicious. My son ordered the zuckerburger and he ate it all. The truffle fries were a nice touch. Nick took care of us and he was very attentive.He even made a mango lemonade for my friend, which is not on the menu. It was so good that my friend ordered a second one. Being a previous customer service supervisor, I can say they know how to make things right. We really like coming here as it's close to home and we always get seated promptly. Wait staff is always welcoming and prompt in taking our order. The menu has something for everyone and the food is hot when served. Only had a problem once with a steak, the manager was quick to come over to rectify the problem and offered a free meal the next time we came back. It needed a little more seasoning or smokiness to stand out. * The American Fries These chunky potatoes looked good, but some were undercooked and none had seasoning. They really needed salt, pepper, or something extra to wake them up. * The Toast The wheat toast was buttery and fine, but not very crispy. More like warm bread than real toast. There were a few bright spots, though. The ketchup was top‑notch (pretty sure it was Heinz), and I loved the fancy salt and pepper grinders on the table so I could season things myself. In photos, the plate looks awesome--especially that giant piece of ham--but the taste didn't fully match the picture. The service and the cozy vibe were great, but the food didn't quite hit the mark for me. If you live nearby or want a simple diner breakfast with friendly people, The Peppermill Grill is worth a try. But if you're visiting from out of town, it's just okay. The people are wonderful, but the food needs a little more flavor to make the trip feel special.

At first I was hesitant because of the price, and it being biscuits, but they made me eat those words and more. It was like a large biscuit muffin top with jalapeño, cheese and honey glaze (I think) and it came with a white cheddar cheese sauce to dip it in that was outrageously delicious. For a guy who hates cheddar biscuits, I've got to say I'm blown away. My wife ordered the steak with fingerling potatoes and carrots. It was on the pricier side, but yet again well worth it. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the veggies were pretty good too. They had live music playing as well tonight. It was a jazzy kind of vibe and it didn't over power anyone talking or anything. The guy had some serious skill too. To top it off, we had some pretty killer service from everyone there. From the hostess taking our names, random servers walking around, and our fantastic server (I forget her name but she was blonde and worked upstairs and had a a really great attitude. The expo or food runner dropping our food off anticipated us possibly needing an extra plate and brought one without asking which was super awesome and ended up coming in handy ( I knew my wife wouldn't finish that steak alone) and she brought it without asking and was ready with a smile to get more. I used to be a GM (I hate when people use this saying but...) truly I know how hard it is to find good workers and the folks running it here seem to have it down. I come from a place where you have to drive 100 mi or more for average service. So seeing exceptional service is really almost too good to be true. I'd definitely stop in for a bite. My guest and I spent most of our lunch talking, and I left with nearly an entire meal. About 20 minutes after leaving, I realized I had forgotten my box and immediately called the restaurant to see if it was still there. The young lady who answered the phone asked where I had been seated. I explained that I was at the very first table at the front of the restaurant. Within seconds, she told me there was nothing there. Her tone made it clear that assisting me was not a priority. Given that the hostess stand is located at the back of the restaurant and I was seated at the front, I do not believe there was enough time for her to actually check before dismissing my concern. After I sent an email regarding the situation, the hostess responded that she had walked through the restaurant looking for the box. Based on the timing of our phone conversation, I find that difficult to believe. In her response, she also stated that she checked with the servers after our call had ended, which suggests that no real effort was made while I was on the phone. What is most disappointing is that I am a regular customer. Today, I paid $56.00 for lunch for myself and my business guest. Between a server who was largely absent throughout the meal and the dismissive interaction when I called about my forgotten food, the level of service fell far below what I have come to expect. Everyone has an occasional bad day, but customer service is often defined by how issues are handled after something goes wrong. In this case, I felt dismissed rather than helped. Unfortunately, after today's experience, I do not plan to return.

The salsa looked different than expected - more Tabasco than tomato sauce but still good. No condiments on the table so you have to ask for what you want but the space was relaxing and happy.
