Stopped by here during lunch time on a Friday. We were able to sit down right away, no waiting, which was perfect. The server took our drink orders right away and we were ready to order by the time she came back. I had to pig pile skillet but asked to replace the tater tots with hash browns which they were able to do for me! It tasted amazing! I love breakfast skillets and with the sausage gravy on this one, it was basically my ideal breakfast item. It was served with 4 pieces of toast and I was able to take half my skillet and 2 pieces of toast for leftovers. The person I was with got the sausage gravy omelette and it was huge! He had leftovers as well. Good breakfast food & good prices. Only downside is they have Pepsi products instead of coke products. I will definitely be back anyways! read more

Stopped in for our second time on New Year's Day after an early morning drop off at the airport. Service was friendly and efficient. Menu was extensive with lots of great choices. Had breakfast with my husband, staff greeted and welcomed as soon as we walked in. I had the French toast platter with sausage links which was 10/10 and my husband had the pancake platter with bacon also 10/10 he said. All other customers seemed happy and tended to as well. I arrived and went the hostess and asked can I just sit at the bar, there was one person at the bar, she said she could not seat me as there are parties in front of me. Mind you me sitting at the bar does not impede larger parties from sitting, just snotty service. I turned and left and spent my money elsewhere. Planned a breakfast day out with the wife on Presidents' Day. Got in quick and easy around 8:30 but definitely by 9 am the place had filled up. Our server was great and super speedy, she was definitely hustling so props to her. Our food came quick too. I got the Ranchero skillet and it was pretty tasty. The avocado, melted cheese and chicken probably gave it the best flavor, the only suggestion I would have is offering a different/ fresh salsa to kick it up a notch. The sausage and gravy was super tasty as well with the biscuits being so soft! I also got the sugar bread side after seeing another photo post and it was super delicious; basically like a cinnamon bread roll- highly recommend. The wait staff tried but the manager was awful. Food ordered with no onions came with extra onions, hash browns were overcooked. Added a take out bagel to our order and it was taking forever. When we asked someone about it, the manager snapped at the servers and told them to "walk away." She was the one doing the bread. They were afraid of the manager and clearly frustrated. We could hear her rudeness from the seating area. Sarah does not belong in a customer service industry. The quality of the food there has declined in recent months. read more

Empty tables and waitresses with excuses. Maybe help your kitchen crew instead of standing around. Food was good, front of the house needs new training. Never saw a manager. I have been to Red Geranium a few times. They have been consistently amazing. Friendly and fast service. This is the Southern Comfort Benedict. Flaky biscuits topped with delicious breakfast sausage, perfectly poached eggs and amazing sausage gravy. I highly recommend anything that has their gravy. So good. read more

Had the Greek Omelette and it was very good and pretty big, service was great. They did a nice job even though I heard mention they were short staffed. The English Muffin bread was ok might choose one of their other many options next time. But nice to have choices, my wife's raisin bread was better. Manager was a Packers fan tell him Go Pack if you are as well. read more

TERRIBLE. We ordered for delivery and the food was taken by someone THEN brought back to the store and they ACCEPTED it. Then let someone else take it and bring it to us. We had no idea how long the food was with the other person. The safety seal on the bag was ripped, hair in the food and we didn't even get all of our food. Absolutely appalling. read more

Easy access in suburban strip mall (easy parking), but don't let the nondescript location affect expectations. Breakfast is excellent- cakey pancakes, crispy hashbrowns. Staff is quick on the draw with coffee refills. It's not great coffee, but fits the ambience and pairs well with the stolid, high quality grub. Signs entering the restaurant asked for patience due to staffing challenges, but the team was prompt, friendly, and checked in often. Found this restaurant on yelp, after an appointment at the Wyoming VA. It was near bye and it was a great find. Had an excellent omelet for breakfast. We were seated quickly, and the service was very fast. They are in a strip mall and the space is what you would expect. Very clean, and a little worn from time, and use. Tater tots are good plain. Was going to use ketchup but they don't need it. Fried perfectly and melt in your mouth. Chicken is seasoned perfectly. Fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Honey mustard compliments the sandwich perfectly. Two types of cheese. The brioche bun is amazing. It was toasted and buttered. Bacon stays crispy here. Coffee is always good. I went to breakfast with my dad recently, he has dementia and it's usually a big deal for us to go out to eat. Christy was our server and was so wonderful. We were very satisfied with this restaurant. Menu had several items that sounded great and the choice was hard but I went with the Pig Pill Skillet. It had bacon, sausage, ham, potatoes and sausage gravy.... the wife picked the Egg Benedict and wanted her eggs medium well... both items came out quick and was exactly like we asked. Plenty of food on both our plates. Kim did a great job taking care of us!! When we get back to Grand Rapids we will be stopping by again.. Thanks!! read more
