We went with Daniel who showed up right on time on a cold morning. I thought removing the old badly cracked panes of glass would be very difficult. I was right but they got the old ones out quickly and the new ones in so fast and they finished about 30 minutes before their estimate. They only removed one window at a time and our house never got cold on a 33 degree day This was one of the best customer experiences for a project I have ever had. I chose EV Windows after asking CharGBT to find me a great window company with very good reviews and I'm so glad I did. I do not have one negative thing to say. I had a little bit of sticker shock from the first quote so decided this would be worth getting multiple quotes on. And Home Build was one of them due to their stellar Yelp reviews. I called them and they were able to send Oscar out right away. They told me to save 60 -90 min for the consultation, which seemed like a lot of time considering every other company just needed 5-10 min of my time. However, i was willing to invest the time for the right doors and right price. Oscar and i met for over an hour. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about all my door options. He brought along a presentation (via his ipad), as well as materials so we got it all done within that hour. The other companies took a lot less, but resulted in a few trips to my house and lots of back and forth via email. I honestly probably prefer the latter since less time all at once. In the end I went with a different company due to price, but thought this company offered a good product at competitive pricing so would be worth looking into them.

He came first thing the next day to give a free quote, and his quote was lower than all other quotes I received. He took the window back to his shop to install a new piece of glass, putting in the special gas between the panes that helps with insulation & energy efficiency. Siding & Windows Group was one of the 4 companies I had come out for a quote. We ended up with them for a few reasons: - Their quote was competitive - They were able to spray paint the interior trim with our existing paint color - They were able to match the exterior trim as closely as possible to our windows outside - Anthony at Siding & Windows Group was very responsive We placed the order on August 22nd, which is my bday. I can't say new doors was what i wanted for my bday, but i guess this is being a homeowner in your 40s. The new doors weren't installed until November 6th and we just hoped for no big storms and got lucky. Anthony checked in a few times on when they'd be installed and pushed it back a few days due to other projects. The actual installation took about a day, which wasn't too bad. A week later they came to spray paint, which honestly seemed like a much bigger project than installing the doors. That took 2 days and went smoothly, although there was a little confusion about them not knowing what color to paint, etc. It turned out beautifully and while the doors look very similar to our old doors I like the look of these even better. The exterior finish isn't a perfect match, but i think a big part of that is our old paint on our windows as faded. One day we'll touch it all up, but for now we're looking forward to a break in paying for anything for the house. I learned there are a lot of companies in the area for new windows/doors, but we were satisfied with this one and would use them again.

Received a call from Claudia who left a voicemail stating to call back and ask for Agnes. We have called this Agnes person 8 times since receiving the voicemail from Claudia. Agnes is on the phone, out to lunch or gone for the day no matter the time we call. Despite having an overall good experience with the contractor, Climate Solutions has proved to be less than helpful in resolving an issue that is entirely their fault. This is not how customer service is supposed to be done.

After selecting the quote for the windows we wanted to get done, a down payment was made and the windows were ordered. They came in a few weeks later and two of their team members came out to install them in the morning. Everything was done quickly and professionally with care. After the install, I had a question about one of the windows since it looked like there was a small crack at the top corner and they sent someone out to look at it right away. It turned out it was just some glue residue that was attached on the inside of the window that made it look like a crack and was easly scraped off with a razor blade. I definitley recommend using Semko as they provided a very reliable service and also beat out many other window companies with their competitive pricing.

Then they promptly sent me a quote later that day. The price was great and everything comes with a lifetime warranty, including labor! I replaced all of the windows at my home in Lincolnwood. It took about 3 weeks to be custom made and 1 day to install. The installers did an amazing job! So fast, helpful, moved my furniture and installed all of the windows, put foam insulation around the frames and capped everything on the outside in aluminum. I can already notice the difference in temperature in my house. It looks beautiful. His team of installers installed out windows in January, and they managed to do it in just a day and a half! The attention to detail and workmanship is second to none.
