No big deal, easy 10 minute fix that Ephrem said he would take care of. I chased him down for EIGHT WEEKS to come fix it. Finally I was fed up and told Ephrem I was starting to get pissed, and he called me and BLEW UP at me. He started yelling at me and cussing me out, saying that 'he doesn't sit in front of a f**king computer all day like you do' and that 'you don't buy cabinets from f**king Home Depot, have someone install them incorrectly, then yell at Home Depot to come fix them". The burden was on him to fix, not my contractor because HIS team installed the doors, NOT my contractor. I asked him what the name of his company was and he literally said 'that's none of your business'. I was floored that I paid HIM, HIS guys made an error (a very small, easily fixable one), and HE promised to fix it, ignored my requests to come out, then I expressed my frustrations and HE yelled and cussed ME out. Shouldn't it have been the other way around? Is this how he treats all his customers? After eight weeks the door finally got fixed. I'm not suggesting anyone do or don't do business with him, but be mindful that if something needs fixing after the work is done he'll be very reluctant to help. *not sure why my profile says San Fran, I'm in Chicago.

As instructed, I texted photos of the window on January 9, 2025. After receiving no acknowledgment that my message had been received, I followed up by phone approximately one week later and was told that they were behind due to the holidays and weather and that someone would be calling me back. When no one contacted me, I called again about a week and a half later and was told the same thing, that they were behind and that someone would be calling me either that day or shortly. Another week passed with no response. When I called again, I was given the same explanation and assurance that someone would call me that day, and I would also receive a quote. At no point during these initial calls was I told that the company was researching parts, seeking a quote, or otherwise actively working on the request. Those explanations were raised only later, during the last call, after I expressed concern about the lack of follow-up. As of February 2, 2025, twenty-four days after my initial message, the company still failed to provide any acknowledgment via text where I was asked to contact them, an update on the parts and service requested, or a meaningful response, and the quote that was promised the week prior has not been received. Instead, I was met with a dismissive and defensive response claiming they do not have time to respond to every text and that they had been researching the issue and would reach out. That explanation does not align with what was actually communicated to me or with the repeated assurances that I would receive a return call. As a business owner, all of my communications are documented and recorded. I was simply attempting to address broken windows for tenants in a timely manner and to engage a vendor willing to perform the work. The failure here rests entirely with this company. Their lack of responsiveness and professionalism has eliminated any possibility of future business or a positive recommendation from me. Buyer beware.

I shared photos and information to get a quote ahead of time for my association to approve before dropping off the existing door to size and replace. I dropped off the door 5/12 and they did a wonderful job explaining to me that there was a part they may need to reuse but would clean it up for me. After some time passed, I called the shop 5/30 to check in on my order in which they told me they were a bit back logged on projects for the summer and I should expect a call soon. I didn't have any outreach so I called again 6/9 (4 weeks after the original drop off date) and they told me it would be ready the next day for pick up. When I went to get the new door, I had asked if I could get a convenance discount as it took double the amount if time to complete as stated. The response was no because my receipt had a blanket statement that said "approx 2 weeks" even though verbally I was told 2 and there wasn't anyone in the store who could approve a discount anyways. On top of this, I inspected my door and the part reused was not cleaned or touched up at all as originally promised. There was still dirt on it from the original drop off. Overall, my door looks wonderful and I am happy with the outcome of it. Blaine does do great work but could use some improvement on customer service and transparency to customers. Please be patient with them and don't be afraid to check in.

I asked him politely to send me a short video how to pull them out since they have that bathroom cabinet on the floor. He started raising his voice at me . I asked him why he's being so rude and disrespectful when the customer is calling for help with their product he said he's not going to send me any videos, he's telling me how to do it. Stay away from that store because it will be no help when any issue occurs, based on previous comments it is common problem with them. I wish i never bought anything from them.

I was sent a confusing PDF brochure for Larson doors to browse that had no prices listed. I had to call and email a few times to finally reach my salesperson again and get a quote. I picked a couple of doors to compare only to be told one isn't available in my size. The quote finally came through as one generic line item that was more than double what the big boxes had quoted me. It didn't even split out the door and the installation charges. At any step of the way they could have simply told me my order wouldn't meet their minimum threshold and saved all of us a lot of time and effort. I ended up giving my money to a big box store. Ironically, I've been blown away by the customer service from the box box employees/contractors every step of the way - everyone I've spoken to or has come out has been extremely responsive and friendly. I hope they're being compensated fairly because they're definitely working hard.
