Hidden gem. Nice, clean restaurant with friendly service. We had the fish burger and grilled fish with sweet potato fries. The regular fries and sweet potato fries was hot and crunchy. We finally made it around to checking out this place; I'm sorry it took us so long. We stopped in for lunch and ordered the Kiwi-style fish and chips and the fish sandwich. The first thing to note was how welcoming and kind the people working there were; I would've loved to hang out all day. We did not have to wait very long for our food. But, while we waited, we enjoyed their big comfortable couch and watched some "Kiwi TV" (?) which was something I hadn't seen before and quite intriguing. They offered me a ton of ketchup to go with the chips which worked out great. But the highlight of everything was that amazing fish...so GOOD! It came with a mayo-based tartar sauce of some kind on the side. The portions were more than enough, so I recommend you come hungry. Keep up the great work, Kiwi Style Fish and Chips. Great discovery in Holmes Beach, FL. I had the Fish Salad and it was delicious! A large battered fillet on top a small salad with choice of dressing. The fish was light and not at all greasy. The salad was fresh with dressing options. They are super friendly and accommodating. There's a cute sitting area with magazines and large indoor picnic-style tables for dining in.
