Hire Katsu and Ebi Fry combo ($24)
    Megan L.

Best katsu I've had ever, even compared to spots in Hawaii! The owners are from Hawaii, and we loved chatting with them, super kind and welcoming. + Takoyaki Katsu: never seen this before, but literally a fried takoyaki. Pretty hefty w huge octopus chunk, nice and hot but prefer traditional takoyaki (7/10) + Hire Katsu and Ebi Fry combo ($24): such great value and great taste. Comes w rice, miso, yuzu dressing in a cute jar, tartar sauce, and pickles. Hire is leaner but this was amazing. Ebi was juicy too! Both fried in a light crispy exterior (9/10)

Why is the rice served like this?

Service was slow. The solo server seemed too busy and we felt like inconveniencing him just by being there despite there were only like 5 tables. He never asked us how the food was. He asked for a refill at the very end but we were done. Interior was good. I didn't like how the rice was served as if we were served eaten rice. I took a picture of it. Please take a look. There was no ramekin for the tonkatsu sauce. The katsus were wet on the backside. Curry udon was great. I probably will not return.

It was my first time here I heard about it from my surgeon so Ofcourse I had to come in and check them out. It was a Wednesday night @5:15 pm the restaurant was not busy at all. We got seated looked at the menu which was 1 page for food and 1 page for drinks. Their drinks consists of alcohol and non alcoholic beverages. I ordered the katsu curry the meat was pork. Let me tell you I haven't had a think pork chop that was not dry or hard to swallow. I loved the katsu curry. Their curry was different more of the soupier side. Their miso soup was nothing compared to other Japanese restaurants. My plate came with a small portion of pickled daikon a must when eating with curry. The table had 3 different sauces but I never tried it. Definitely coming here again if I have a crave for katsu curry. The ambience was cool dimmed lights. The restaurants had two gender restrooms for men's and women. No baby changing station.

What a hidden gem. This place was right by our house and I never knew it. I happened to see it while waiting for my prescription at Vons. I'm so glad I did. My wife is a Katsu fanatic. She LOVES her Katsu so we had to try this place. We actually went for our anniversary lunch. 15 years strong! The food was DELICIOUS. I had the curry Katsu and wifey had the chicken/shrimp combo. Everything was perfectly done. Nice and Krispy. Not oily at all. The curry wasn't sweet. It was a traditional Japanese curry. The service was fantastic. For the food being so good, it was empty at lunchtime. It might be because it's in Anthem and where most of the retired folks live. We'll definitely be back for sure. We gotta take the kids since the love Katsu and karaage. Love this place

It's the most delicious tonkatsu in Nevada! It feels we are in Japan Kiyoshi's menu has many choices and everything it's just exquisite! Maria san is very attentive and gives you a warm welcome to the restaurant. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Thank you Kiyoshi restaurant staff for always making us so happy with your delicious cuisine .

Tried this place on a friends recommendation and it did not disappoint. The place is pretty spacious and clean. Service was fast and friendly. The food!!!!! Delicious and just melts in your mouth. The breading is crunchy, but still soft. Highly recommend to visit in the Henderson area.

Cute little katsu house deep in Henderson. The restaurant was quaint and nicely decorated. The staff greeted us immediately and was super attentive to our needs our whole visit. The food was good, but nothing special. I was interested in what my friends' dishes were and do want to come back to try! I will say that the sando had good consistency - katsu had a good crunch, the bread was also crunchy which I prefer, and the perfect amount of sauce. The fries were what you would expect.

3.5 stars. Had the Rose Katsu and katsu sando. Both were decent, but wasn't as juicy and crunchy as others we've had. Yuzu salad dressing was good and white rice was good. Nice atmosphere and friendly wait staff, but they charge extra for credit card payments.

Clean quiet place to grab a good meal. Not a lot of options for vegans but that is fine my friend got udon and katsu and liked it. I got miso soup and a tofu salad. Tofu salad was different compared to other places it was crushed up into a ball and they added flavoring to it not sure what. Most tofu salads they just cube the tofu throw dressing on it. Nothing wrong with this place but if you want a larger meal and don't eat meat or fish go elsewhere...

My husband and I came here for lunch on a Sunday and we had a great experience! The ambience was super clean and welcoming! The staff were very friendly and informative. The food was bomb! Everything we ate was delicious! We ordered the Takoyaki Katsu and it was wow! It was crunchy, doughy, and filled with flavor! It is a must try for sure! We also ordered the hire (pork katsu) and ebi (shrimp fry) combination and the chicken katsu and ebi combination. It came with a bowl of rice and miso soup. I was very curious to taste their curry so I ordered it on the side. ($4) Everything was delicious! The pork katsu was a bit dry, but it was still tasty! Adding the curry to it made it better. The ebi was crunchy and juicy! The chicken katsu was cooked to perfection! All were flaky because of the panko and it wasn't drenched in oil. It was all super light and flavorful! That side of curry made a difference with our meal! If you're from Hawaii and like curry house, the curry tastes just like it! The salad was fresh and the dressing it came with was tasty! Overall, the service was great and the food was delicious! I will be back for more!

Always so good here. Authentic, tender meat with perfectly thin crispy koromo. I LOVE the sesame seeds in the grinder. The service is always good too. 気軽に来れるカジュアルなカツ屋さん。サービスも良くてたまにカツが食べたくなったらくる結構気に入ってるお店!

The restaurant is a cute little ducked off spot in Anthem village. The server was really nice and recommended us a very yummy desert. I had ordered the katsu curry and it was delicious! The katsu was thick and crunchy. The curry was well seasoned. The other dish we've ordered was the shrimp and rice. I do wish there were at least 2 more pieces of shrimp for the price. However, the desert was amazing. The green tea crepe cake was so fluffy, light, and not too sweet. We will definitely come back for the pecan crepe cake. They say it's from a famous desert shop that only serves it here and the Resort World.

This is a really impressive ramen and curry spot! We definitely got our fix here…read more We ordered takeout and got the black garlic ramen, beef stew curry, and chicken katsu curry ($70). Everything was really good, and the portions were actually generous enough to feed us. We split each dish so everyone could try a little bit of everything, and we still had plenty. The service was quick, which I always appreciate when getting takeout. The space also looked really nice and clean from what I could see. We only did takeout this time, but I'd definitely come back and try dining in next time. I'm curious to see what the full dine-in experience is like! Overall, a great spot when you're craving both ramen AND curry because sometimes you just shouldn't have to choose, lol.

The gyoza and crunch roll were both good, and the ramen hit the spot. My only critiques were that the ramen egg was a little overcooked and the spicy edamame lacked flavor. It tasted like someone sprinkled garlic and spicy crunch on top and called it a day. Despite my very thorough quality control efforts, we still managed to eat every last bite. The service was friendly and fast, and the restaurant was clean. Overall, a great experience and definitely a place I'd come back to.

Out of kindness (it's hard keeping a business afloat), I was going to give today's lunch 3 stars…read more Then I read my previous review, which was 3-star, and I realized that we received Lack of Attention and Service today, just as we did the last time we were there. Since the table service hasn't improved, I've gotta go with two stars. Hubby and I arrived around 1:00 PM on a Thursday and were seated immediately. Instead of reading the menu, Hubby asked if they offered a Vegetable Tempura and Shrimp Tempura. The waitress said they have both a dinner and an appetizer. We're so old now that we just can't eat much at any one sitting, so we ordered two Tempura appetizers which included two shrimp each, a large slice of eggplant, a sweet potato slice and an asparagus spear. I wish they'd served an onion rather than the eggplant. The inside of the eggplant was gray; it wasn't appealing -- and we do eat with our eyes first. I took a bite of the shrimp and didn't like it; I gave it to Hubby who ate it. (It had no flavor and, other than the tempura itself, no texture. It was mushy.) I later tried the other shrimp with the same result. I traded it for Hubby's sweet potato. The asparagus spear was scrawny and overcooked. I didn't care for the sauce; therefore, I wanted wasabi to mix with the soy sauce that was on the table. That never happened because no one ever came to check on us! Not once! The tempura was oily. I needed a second napkin and had to get up, go get it myself from a neighboring table because after a young man delivered our food, neither our waitress nor anyone else ever checked on us; not even once during the meal. Not once! No one asked us if we needed anything; no one visited our table for any reason, not once after the food was delivered. We finished eating and sat for a couple of minutes. No one came around with a check, so I went looking for our waitress in order to get the check. In summary: The food was disappointing. Specifically: the tempura was too oily; the eggplant was gross; the shrimp was flavorless and its texture was mush; and the asparagus spear was scrawny and overcooked. The service was worse because not once did anyone check on us! I had to go in search of both a second napkin and the check; and I went without wasabi. If you read my previous review, my issue then was the service. So, Lesson Learned. By me. Clearly, the wait staff ignore customer feedback about service. So this will be our last visit. Adios, Caio Caio and see ya never.

There's nothing "911" about that roll. Also ordered a chicken katsu bento box. Portion was big enough for next day's leftovers! We will be back to try other rolls. Prices are comparable to other sushi places.
