Soup that comes with teppanyaki
Jessica L.

Ate at the teppan table. Food was seasoned and cooked well. My scallops were like butter. The service was great -- the staff were attentive the entire evening. The restaurant has a massive menu! If yo I want sushi or appetizers or teppan or traditional Japanese dishes? Everything is available here. They don't have a ton of teppan tables, so if you want one be sure to call for a reservation. Otherwise, there is traditional seating available where they don't cook in front of you. There is also a sushi bar. The food and service were excellent. The only reason for 4 stars is because the pricing is a bit high and the building could used some upgrades. While it was clean, the bathrooms looked old and grungy. The location could use some TLC. As for the pricing? $51 for filet and scallops is higher than most in the valley, but it was quite tasty.

Our server is kinda annoying this time . We mention couple time no teriyaki sauce in my husband bento Box and when the bento came with sauce . We had to asknto remake it with put sauce

We had a good first time dining experience at this restaurant. We had a reservation for the "tatami" seating. In this area you take your shoes off and sit on cushions at a low table. There is an opening below the table to dangle your feet, so it's actually pretty comfortable. They have regular seating as well. Our server was initially fairly attentive but disappeared for a while and then reappeared toward the end of the meal. I had a lemon drop martini to start which was tasty. We tried some gyoza to start as well. These were tasty but seemed like frozen gyoza versus those made by hand in the restaurant. Overall not too bad. For an entree I had the pork teriyaki which comes with miso soup and assorted tempura (shrimp and vegetable). The pork was tasty and tender with a sauce that was flavorful without being too sweet or heavy. The soup was fairly good as well. The tempura was good but was a bit more oily than I like. They have an assortment of desserts as well. We tried the green tea fried ice cream. It had a lovely crispy coating, and the ice cream had a nice green free flavor. Overall this was a tasty dining experience!

Late night dining and open until 12 midnight on Saturday. I've been to the Sahara location and am glad my friends reminded me that this location was close to us. Service was good, and she was attentive. Now, the bus boy was meh. His customer service skills need brushing up. Food: Tiger Roll And I can't remember my others' rolls. See photos. They were all good. Chicken Skin Skewer My friends had the Kalbi, Tiger Roll, Japanesw Lasagna, and a few rolls. I will definitely return.

Glad I drop by to check this spot out. The spot is somewhat hidden on the strip mall. The servers greeted me immediately and were professional and attentive. Sat at the sushi bar. Let's dive into the food. Salmon: Soft, smooth, moist, and melts in the mouth Snapper - soft, fresh, standard Halibut - average. Had better Mackerel - average Salmon belly - delicious Ikura - excellent Soft shell crab tempura - tender and soft inside with good tempura batter. All in all, it was an awesome experience. Can't wait to come back and try out the rest of the menu.

We were looking for a place to dine late at night in Henderson and this place came recommended on our online search. They have good selection of food items and they also have a late night menu for those who comes 10pm onwards. When we were seated, the staff was friendly and explained the food items available. She checked on us constantly and was attentive to our needs. We ordered several food items and I like their ramen. The noodles were good quality and the broth was amazing however, I just wish the meat and egg were better. We tried some sushi and tempuras and they were all to our liking. We will definitely come back again to try their teppan. We were informed it's only from 4pm to 9pm. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great late night dining experience.

Yet another amazing Japanese spot here in Henderson! I've heard about Osaka several times in the past but have never been inside until now. Some former colleagues of mine also went here a few months ago and raved about how amazing their sushi was, so I was excited about what to expect from here. One thing I found unusual about this place was that they had an automatic sliding door at the entrance that you see at grocery stores and stuff, then another door inside separated between a hallway. And apparently, this place was featured on an episode of Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives starring Guy Fieri, which is one of my favorite shows out there. It wasn't too busy for a Friday night, surprisingly. We walked in and we were greeted by the host with live music performing in the background. As we were seated next to the sushi bar area, we were given a huge menu with so many food and drink items to choose from. Last time I had sushi, I ended up ordering two different sushi dishes and had to take one home with me. Lesson learned, I chose one sushi dish this time. We started off with an appetizer of Gyoza (10 pieces) for us to share. I ordered the Spicy Tuna Roll and my boyfriend ordered the Salmon Sake Nigiri and the Treasure Island Roll. The Gyoza was amazing and it paired well with the soy sauce. My boyfriend's Salmon Sake Nigiri came with a little extra something on the side - a wasabi snowman. I thought that was adorable and creative. The Nigiri and both the sushi rolls were delicious, although mine was super spicy, but pairing it with the soy sauce made it less spicier. The service was fantastic and the ambiance was inviting. I'd like to come back again in the future!

Service : 5/5 The head chef John is super nice. Very friendly. Everyone was very attentive. The seared o toro was really really soft. It melts in your mouth. 100% recommend. The quality of fish is really good. My partner loves the butter salmon I would order the tiger roll again. My partner also really loves the No name. Parking always no issue. I would prefer this location over some locations out in my area. So in my opinion this is definitely sushi stop to visit when I'm Las Vegas.

The owner snapped at the person who sat us we weren't sure why and felt maybe we weren't supposed to be seated at the bar. We were greeted by a young server very nice, smiling, welcoming. I ordered a Orion beer, wife had a green tea. Wife ordered some plates. They came quickly. My wife was so excited to try this restaurant, so she ordered and I ate. Everything was incredible. The sashimi , sushi, all melted in your mouth. So many different flavors with each plate. Not over powering sauces which most places do to hide the low quality of fish. Not here each piece was a culinary deliciousness of flavor. The rolls are not typical all rice little filling. The rice enhanced the filling. No need to use soy sauce! The ginger they supply was so fresh we had 4 servings of it. The restaurant is a 50s style diner, but it doesn't matter what the place looked like with this incredible food. We've NEVER had sushi like this. It's expensive, but you are paying for Japan quality sushi. With all the sushi spots and AYCE places I see why it was so slow. I asked if it gets busy, and was given a few jokingly sarcastic answers from I think owner, which was ok cause I joked back and he got it. If you want the experience of going to a master sushi chef restaurant in Japan, go to Tokyo Boys. You'll pay for a great experience. We hope when we come back to Henderson to return!

However when asked about certain menu items they weren't that knowledgeable. The inside looked like a diner which was a cute theme. Food overall was pretty pricey and tasted okay. I forgot the name of the roll we ordered but that was rly good. It had a good freshness to it. 8.5/10 Beef udon 6/10: the broth was too sweet for my taste but it had a good amount of meat in there to make me satisfied Tempura udon 7/10: it def had a lighter taste than the beef udon. The noodles were nicely cooked and the tempura also had a nice crunch Green tea fried ice cream 10/10! Def the best part of the meal. It was warm on the outside and cold on the inside. I love places that have this as an option. Overall the food was pricey and tasted okay for the price. The service can be a bit better in terms of understanding the menu item or what the "special of the day" is. The place has a nice vibe where you can chat with friends.

Thank goodness it was fresh. Once our order was taken, our server never came back to check on us. My daughter got sick after forcing herself to eat the udon (we arrived very hungry after work and school). I took one spoonful of the soup and couldn't eat it because the dashi was terrible. It tasted exactly like the packaged udon you'd find in the refrigerated section at Winco, and not the good flavored ones either. I don't often complain about my food but everything was bad. The rice was wet and mushy. I requested pan fried gyoza and they deep-fried them. The udon was horrible. I had to call over someone who I believe was the manager to complain about the poor quality of the food. He didn't even offer a response and just stood there, staring at the wet rice on the plate. He didn't apologize, didn't offer to comp anything. He continued standing there awkwardly until I told him he needs to comp something because it was all bad. He offered to comp my one bowl of udon so I paid $87 for some of the worst food I've had in quite a while. Bad food and even worse service. Zero stars if I could.
