A little disappointed on the old fashioned donuts not having much edge-crispiness (contrary to their appearance.....so kinda old donuts?). A tad too much oil held on in the apple fritter. I liked that the blueberry cake donut had a uniform blueberry taste throughout the donut. Also, these donuts aren't overly sweet so great for those who don't have the biggest sweet tooth. There's nothing more Delicious than waking up in the morning, and wanting a Maple bar! I finally got around to try Kj donuts and I am so happy that I stopped by today. I'm pregnant and I was really craving a Maple bar and the selection at Kj. Donuts did not disappoint. It was 9 A.M. and they still had an incredible selection of fresh donuts that looked insanely Perfect. Not only was the place very clean. Fresh and yummy. I've been back here a number of times over the years and the donuts have been very great. Haven't gotten a new Apple fritter since my last incident, but I will next time when I'm craving a sweet treat just to try it again. Disappointed on how they run their business. First off they don't have a local number to the area and when you call rarely does anyone pick up cause it doesn't seem to be a number to the store. Went in to get donuts at about 10am on 4th of July. Busy day, not too early but def not that late in the day at 10am. They had barely anything left, like nothing. Was told it was busy but when you're a donut shop, you are still making donuts I will imagine in the morning. The lack of donuts they had was due to them just not making more. I understand if you're set to close later in the day but 10am?! Literally had maybe 20-30 total fonts available with no more being made. This seems to be a trend here. The donuts are great when avail but they don't make enough batches for the hours they claim to be open. read more

So glad I popped over to this shop with my mom. Walking in and seeing a beautifully full display of glistening donuts early in the a.m. made me smile. The shop is clean and the man inside was super friendly. We got a classic pink box filled with the good stuff (cinnamon roll, maple bar, sugar twist, classic chocolate, classic sugar, 3 cake donuts: chocolate w/peanut, vanilla w/rainbow sprinkles and chocolate w/rainbow sprinkles, and a dozen donut holes for good measure hehe). Solid local donut shop with a cool owner. They have apple fritters and filled donuts, and then all your basic donuts. All of them have been very fresh every time and not too greasy. I always judge a donut shop by their maple bars. KJ has soft spongy dough and a very nice maple frosting. The staff is always kind and patient while we make our choices. Happy that more people will be finding out about this gem. Every time we've gone the owner has been super nice and even thrown in a number of free donuts on the slower days. The Apple Fritters are amazing, and a good range of donuts. Not too many hip/trendy cereal on top crazy combinations but good old school donuts. Like any donut shop if you go late in the day the selections may be limited but even the afternoon donuts were still good.
