Solid option for cappuccino which we felt was full bodied and smooth while not acidic. Excellent choice if you are craving a good coffee product. The disappointing factor was that my barrista was not able to draw a milk pattern with the steamed milk. Usually this is taken for granted among good coffee barristas. Coffee should have a good nose but it's also visual isn't it? The guys here seemed slightly lackadaisical. The inside was a bit clinically sparse and I have nothing good to say about the location which you literally have to force your cognition to understand is NOT part of the CVS store although it seems as if it is built into a CVS. The signage for parking is not helpful because you have to park behind the storefront (along with the other CVS customers). The road in front is a busy intersection and it's a tough location. Coffee shops shouldn't aggressively market to me after you check in on Yelp but this one does. read more

My husband and I come weekly for coffee and a pistachio muffin. Then we head down to the beach to walk or to the farmers market. The baristas remember that I don't like full caffeine and always greet us with a "hello" as we enter. We sometimes bring our kids along and let them do homework and have a snack. I am a regular customer here and as of this morning I will not be returning ever again and will let all of my friends and family know of my experience. I went in this morning with my service dog and the gentleman working with the glasses, asked me if my dog was a service animal. I responded yes, because she actually is and in front of around 10 other customers, he asked me what kind of service she provides! Is my disability any one else's business? I didn't feel like it was so I didn't let him know and had to leave. Terrible rude and insensitive customer service. Every time the guy with the round glasses is working he makes me feel super uncomfortable and unwelcome. Not sure what kind of power trip he is on but Deb needs to calm down. read more

This was our first time here so we really didn't know what to try and didn't have anything that we were leaning towards either. We were kind of resembled a deer in headlights and I'm sure it was obvious. Thankfully the baristas were very patient and even made a couple of suggestions which turned out to be delish! Husband tried an egg sandwich while I had the Black and Tan, iced coffee with they're house made brown sugar syrup. Very happy!!! I got "The Show Off" which consisted of ham, tomatoes, egg, bacon, and avocado with a 24oz cold brew. The wife got a Turkey Pesto which came with a side salad and a latte. The food was very decent (typical breakfast sandwiches) but the coffee was amazing. The latte was one of the best I've tried. (I didn't take a photo because the wife started drinking from it before I got back to the table ) Would definitely recommend this place for breakfast or brunch. I ran an iced coffee experiment due to the recent hot weather. After extensive argument w/ a co-worker about the better tasting iced coffees in the area, I decided to take matters into my own hands and show up to work with 5 large(st) sized iced coffees from 5 different locations. Klatch is brand new to Redondo Beach (close to my house which is nice). They've repurposed the old Chronic Tacos location at Torrance and PCH, near CVS. Service and line management - 2/5 stars (wasn't busy but the server was a little slow and disengaged) Price (under $5) - rated sufficiently at ~$3.95 so 5/5 Parking and accessibility - 2/5 getting back out to PCH is always a bear against the northbound traffic and you have to make a U-turn if you go the Torrance way. I never liked this catty-corner lot much that is shared w/ CVS. Taste / Freshness - 3/5 I thought the coffee was just ok. Probably needs more sweetener to suit my tastes. I did get the Klatch first so the ice had dumbed it down by the time I was physically taste testing. Sadly Klatch finished tied for last place. But it is worth more on-site testing. read more

I live around the area and been wanting to try this place. I just never had the chance until today. Unfortunately I won't be coming back. Costumer service is horrible. The lady that made my drink was rude. I just asked for a lid and the way she responded is as if I'm the only person who doesn't know where to get it. She wasn't too happy handing me my food either. No matter how your coffee/food tastes like, rude staff turns me off. Definitely not coming back here. I never understand why some individuals are rude for no reason, especially when costumer service is a big part of your job. read more

I've never heard of it before so I was surprised to see that they have been in business for 25+ years. They have 3 other locations, but they are out in Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, and San Dimas so that explains why it's not a familiar name around the area. They have a good amount of tables and bar style seating on the inside with a few tables outside. Klatch Coffee not only serves your typical lattes, cold brews, and coffees, but they also serve a wide variety of pastries, paninis, toasts, salad, and breakfast items. // COFFEE // Iced Latte: The latte comes with either 2 or 3 shots depending on what size you get. The roast on the beans give it a much bolder, stronger flavor. If you like a strong, bold espresso then you'll definitely like the espresso at Klatch Coffee. Creme Brulee Latte: Espresso, milk, vanilla, and caramel syrup. It's on the sweeter side, but if you prefer your latte sweet then you'll love this! So excited for a new coffee shop in town! Klatch offers a great coffee menu and also has options including ice cream drinks/shakes and food. The interior is clean and they also have a good work space available both inside and outside. The wifi is free and works well. I ordered the creme brûlée latte with the house-made nut milk with half sweetness. The drink still came out really sweet, so I'm unsure if the barista forgot or if it is just a very sweet drink. Unfortunately the nut milk is an extra $1, but I think it was worth it. The flavor was strong and you can tell it is well made. My sister got a chai latte also with nut milk and really enjoyed it. She wasn't able to adjust the sweetness because they mix the sweetener into the chai blend and was worried about it being too sweet but it came out perfect. We will definitely be back! read more

3rd time in here. Customer Service is great; nothing against them. My only peeve about this place that I've just come to realize is that most, if not all, drinks with ice in it has an upcharge. I prefer my coffee iced. Knowing this, I have to admit this may be the last time I come in here. I just don't feel that charging for something with ice in it should be an upcharge. I love the blend's fruity complexity with the nuance of Ethiopian Natural. It is delicious with or without milk. They also offer a selection of three pour-overs! It's located in the corner of PCH and Torrance, right before the entrance of Redondo Beach Pier. The parking is slightly confusing because you would need to park for CVS and find the walkway around to get access to the coffee shop. Discovered this place too late! It's so good! First ordered on UberEats and then went in for a second time but this time in person. Both times I ordered their Lavender latte and it is DELICIOUS! I get it with oat milk and it is the perfect sweetness and gives me the perfect amount of caffeine kick. The customer service was super friendly and I would highly recommend visiting if you can! Cute place to get some work done! It's reasonably small but doesn't seem like it would be too difficult to find a seat inside. Menu is pretty much your typical coffee menu (macchiato, espresso, etc) which basically means I had no idea what anything was. But if this is you, don't fret! They have reasonably priced and tasty cold brew! They also have flavors you can add to your cold brew which is fun! I got the Vanilla bean syrup.. I would say they put a little bit too much syrup in there for my liking so I would recommend asking for less than the full amount. But overall good experience at Klatch! This is my 3rd visit to Klatch Coffee. And today I got the BEST NEWS! My friend Sunnie from Catalina Coffee is going to start working here full-time shortly. She is so customer service friendly and a beautiful familiar face to the locals. I keep coming back to my faves that are not easily available at other coffee places I visit. The avocado toast to a great breakfast or mid-day snack. I want to try all the other unique "toasts" they have but haven't been able to pull myself away from the yummy avocado yet. Their chai tea has a great spice to it. Doesn't taste boxed, but could be? Idk! Their almond milk is great! Location is not ideal, considering it's on the corner of a busy highway. So, sitting outside and trying to have a conversation is near impossible. One more tiny complaint...they play their music too loud inside and cannot hear the teller or you have to yell your order. For me, it's always been about the coffee here. I've never dabbled with their food or pastries. I come in and it's usually to grab a bag or two of their freshly roasted coffee beans and a drink, then I'm out. I can tell you that the ice cream blended, Javalanche drink is a total coffee dessert in a cup. Heavenly, especially during a warm and sunny day. If you're an iced latte person, then try their vanilla bean iced latte. The coffee taste to vanilla bean syrup ratio (taste) is perfectly balanced. It's not like ordering an overwhelming syrupy coffee drink. It's probably my latest go to item on the menu. Hot coffee? Then I would suggest a pour over. Honestly, I wouldn't know though because I buy the beans from here and make the coffee at home with my Hario. Because of that, I don't waltz into Klatch ordering a pour over coffee. I suspect that if I didn't make coffee like that at home then I would probably order it. Which leads me into my last point... The beans are plentiful and based on your taste buds, you may have to try a few to get a feel (I posted plenty of pics of this). The most impressive bag that I buy from here is their WBC Espresso, "World's Best Espresso." Tasting notes include sweet dark chocolate, orange citrus, and berry. A meager $17 for a 12 ounce bag. It lives up to the hype and I can easily see why they won such prestigious awards with it. It's the bag of beans I prefer and buy the most from Klatch. And just because it's tagged as espresso, doesn't mean you can't use the beans to make a regular 'Cup of Joe" with it. Sure, you can and it's totally fine. From Klatch's website about the WBC Espresso: "Named Best Espresso in the world at the World Barista Championship, Japan 2007. It holds initial tastes of sweet dark chocolate and orange citrus and later gives a syrupy sweet taste of wine-like berry and spice.The competition espresso won the honor over 45 competing countries. World's Best features three legendary beans, Brazil Yellow Bourbon, Sumatra Lake Tawar, and Ethiopian Natural. Each roasted separately then blended together for the peak of flavor." If you plan on becoming a frequent visitor of Klatch, then I suggest you downloading their app and getting points through it. You'll get a discount every now and then after spending a certain amount. Two stars for ol' Klatch. Mostly because I had really high expectations. First off, the service was not that great! I was smiling and excited to be there as the place looks super modern and cool, the guy helping me that Sunday morning was just not having it. When I asked about their menu items and what he recommended, he rolled his eyes and said: "mm well every item on the menu is different so it depends what you're feeling like this morning.." C'mon dude, I know it's early but at least try to pretend you like your job! I went ahead and tried their Gingersnap Latte, what a disappointment! It was extremely spicy with barely any taste of coffee. I also got their avocado toast and honestly, that was also disappointed. There was no seasoning added to the avo and it came with Persian cucumbers which I really like but honestly did nothing to the whole dish, the toast was almost burned...just bad. I want to think this was an off day for Klatch, would I go again? Maybe, just wish my first experience has been a better one! read more

Super cute new cafe! Very nice ambience with good music, marble countertops, colorful accents. I got the Japanese Sakura tea (iced) which was a little fruitier than I like but they did tell me it has a cherry flavor. Also ordered the favorite (which is actually a sandwich not a toast) and it was great! The WiFi is fast and the service is great. My only complaint is that I could only find one outlet in the entire cafe - I was planning on working here for a bit but will probably have to leave when my computer runs out of battery. I have been coming here for over a year now. I love it! The workers make it the best in my opinion. and I've learn more things about coffee since coming. Transparency, I had been a Starbucks fan for many years. And I still visit them as well.... when I want a sweet drink and don't care about the quality of espresso or coffee. Not saying its horrid but they rock the sugar when you want a fufu drink. Klatch takes pride on their quality and skills. If you know nothing about caffeinated drinks then this will not matter to you. Most small business or local cafes will not look or taste like well known chain shops. Period. It's like Oreos vs home made hot-out-of-the-oven chocolate chip cookies. And that is a good thing. They even make some of their alternative milks in house. How cool is that. And food is made fresh. Some reviews said they didn't like a worker's demeanor or they weren't happy enough. Come on folks. EVERYONE has their days and not everyone has to love everyone else. Just think about how many jerks they have to serve compared to your "he didn't smile at me". But everyone at Klatch is professional, helpful and nice. Some naturally smile more than others. I actually miss seeing their faces... dang masks. And I always get a hello when I walk in the door. They make such an effort yet I've seen countless costumers ignore their greetings. So get over your hypersensitivity and know these workers are ready to assist you and, if you're nice, spend time helping you with your indecisiveness. Been here several times now and always get their vanilla iced latte. The blend between their coffee, half and half, and vanilla flavor is not too sweet, not too bitter but perfect. Okay let me be real about Klatch. I came here and got some avocado toast and a frozen Mexican mocha. The mocha was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. And the avocado toast was just underwhelming to be honest. Like, look, if I'm going to overpay for avocado toast, I'm expecting some sort of flair. This was just bread and avocado and cucumber and pepper. It fell flat and didn't feel like a ton of effort was put into it. The big question, would I come back? Yes, but not for the food. I want to try another one of their coffee drinks, because I sensed potential. But to be real, the food options gotta step it up. Okay that's me being honest.
