Klatch coffee is a great place to relax, sip a comforting drink, and enjoy a delicious pastry. The lattes are fabulous, especially the ones made to perfection every time by Gladdiel. Gladdiel is the best barista of all the coffee shops we frequent. Gladdiel's iced vanilla latte is our favorite. Recently, we've had the great fortune of having our favorite iced vanilla latte made by Jenny. Jenny is always upbeat, friendly, and one of the best baristas, right up there with Gladdiel. Jenny's latte's are super smooth and rich, with no bitterness. We don't how she does it but we love it when she makes our lattes. read more

I was making an errand at the CVS next door when I saw this coffee shop- I needed an afternoon pick me up so went in. I was kindly greeted as soon as I walked in and was welcomed promptly. It was nice that they had options for coffee sizes/cups, had pastries and light brunch options and etc... the downside is that the large was almost 8 dollars! The indoor space is pretty wide open and would make a good study spot. They also have a few tables outside but is fairly loud because the shop is located at the corner of busy streets. In regard to the vanilla bean coffee, it was okay; not the greatest or worst I've had. Overall, the space and vibe i get is an upgraded Starbucks feel. Very sad to be writing this. Idk what happened to this location. Daniel T left and it went down the drain with customer service. They had two girls one named Bella and she was so sweet along with the other young lady. 5yrs.... I've enjoyed this location. James was another great barista. There's a blonde female that has bangs that I think is an original from the last 2-3yrs (she use to have deep black hair when she first started). I haven't seen her in a bit. The new staff is super harsh or just straight rude to a lot of customers. Sometimes impatient with new customers that stand too long trying to figure out what to get. My very last issue was a staff member whipping sweat from her uncovered head as she was making my sandwich. (I'm still waiting for that drink and sandwich refund from MONTHS ago) from corporate. I sent it back they brought the same sandwich out. They have been making the drinks incorrectly (because they are always training new staff since the fall and it's almost spring). Then that staff leaves after a short stint. They keep flying through managers since Daniel T left. One left after just a few weeks without warning. If you go in the left bathroom (I'm not trying to be crude) but, there has been oxidized period bl00d for two years now. No joke. It's on the wall by their orange trashcan from a woman probably tossing their tampon from a seated position. Their tables are often dirty lately. They did recently get new seats. Coffee beans are very good but, when you can't enjoy the location anymore it over shadows everything that's good. I spend 200-300 at a time for coffee beans. I can't even walk in to get a bag without your newest male staff member being very short with you at the register. I'm not sure why. I miss the smiles. I love klatch, but I'm not the biggest fan of this location. Terribly long wait time! Especially considering that people that come in the morning are headed off to work. There were two baristas that seemed to be overwhelmed with the orders coming in and would leave the cash register to prepare food or drinks. I probably waited over 15 minutes just to order. The favorite sandwich was light and healthy. The nitro cold brew/ cold brew was absolutely undrinkable. It had such a sour aftertaste. It definitely wasn't made right. Their new Ube flavor is fantastic! Highly recommend the ube latte, could make it sweeter if you wanted to add vanilla but personally it was a great blend of sweet with the espresso. The iced mocha was okay but wouldn't get again. Quick service, right by the beach, and open till 8pm, will be back for sure There's some parking near the CVS or street parking. My huisband, myself and kids came in on a busy Sunday all tables full even outside, but didnt wait at all for our order to be taken. The lady that took our order was also making drinks her name was Jess, she was so efficient and really nice, we talked to her about how long she had been at this location since this was the first time we saw her. She had been here only a couple of months, but she was amazing our drinks where delicious, we got a iced creme brulee and a strawberry spritz along with food. The food was good, I recomment the show off and the melt. Jess was soo good with all customers especially my kids, i know they can be a bit much in public places but here comes Jess with coloring papers and crayons so the kids can be entertained! And we can enjoy our coffees while they arent melted! How great is that!! Jess really made this day comfortable and relaxing, we have been back 3x since then and each time she has been top notch. Cute, free-standing coffee shop located next to a CVS. Nice, clean seating area. Coffee selections and a small bakery selection. They pride themselves on their coffees. Although it wasn't quite to my liking, they seem to have regulars. Service was very good. Parking is not readily available unless you park in the CVS lot next door. Not sure if the parking lot is for Klatch and CVS. Definitely a nice place for people in the adjoining neighborhood to walk to for coffee. read more

Do NOT skip on this hidden gem! Emphasis on hidden since it was a little tricky to find-just know it's located right beside the CVS but the sign seems to be on the back. Plenty of parking back there as well. This was my first visit-but will be first of many! I was lucky enough to get Brittney who helped pinpoint exactly what I was craving. I used to come here all the time because it is close to my apartment. The staff was always exceptionally rude to me, especially the big guy with the round glasses (I forgot his name but he was always there). I always gave them generous tips but rudeness was always consistent here. But one incident really turned me off to this place. One time they got my order wrong and instead of immediately correcting it, the guy with the glasses told me to get back to the end of the line and wait - it was a busy morning and the line was long and I was forced to wait 20 minutes to have my order corrected. It is unbelievable how somebody like that can work anywhere, let alone a coffee shop. I will pay extra and drive a little further to get better service and better coffee. Great for studying, dates, or groups! Very clean setup with good quality drinks, food, and pastries. I've come once before and my frist time here I had a pour over which was great. This time I decided to go with the "Pineapple Express Espresso Tonic", which is a seasonal summer drink. It was great, not too carbonated or too sweet. Daniel, the barista on today's Saturday shift was super helpful, friendly, and checked on customers to see if everything was OK as he walked around cleaning up empty cups. The room is well spread out and with a lot of sunlight. There are outside benches as well. Matcha comes pre sweetened which is a huge bummer-- I had to toss the drink. I even had my husband go in and double check after he ordered that they didn't add sweetener and they said there is no sweetener added. They didn't say that the Matcha powder already had sugar in it. read more

For a coffee chain this place is doing pretty well. While the hot cocoa and chai are not stellar, they offer a seasonal golden latte that is terrific and can be made coffee-free. That said, if coffee is your particular vice, Klatch has the usual options and their beans are well-sourced while their baristas are well-trained. A slight selection of sandwich & bakery items gives the minimum of what's expected, and it's all high quality stuff. Put another way: the menu is small but mighty. Add to that the milkshakes and spritz drinks and they've got all the bases covered. I know prolly come here to work a lot, be sure to bring your noise cancelling headphones. read more

It's not exactly cozy, but it's very clean, bright, and has plenty of seating. They seem very serious about coffee, based on the "quotes" about all the coffee awards they've won. As a tea drinker, I appreciated that their matcha latte automatically comes with oat milk (instead of charging extra like others!). I do wish they had more regular tea options. This was my first and last visit. 1) Based on their coffee alone, I've had instant taste way better than this. I really wanted to ask for a refund for an iced creme brulee latte, but I didn't want to deal with the uptight guy behind the counter again. 2) Don't bring your dog here. If you do, tie it up outside (and pray it doesn't get stolen) before you go inside to order, cause god-forbid a single paw steps one inch inside the closed doors. You'll be instantly greeted with a rehearsed monologue on whether your dog is a service animal and state law blah blah blah. No $#!t, really? Dogs owners are aware thanks. So, people are literally coming to GIVE YOU MONEY for to-go orders, want to look at the menu, and you're coming in hot at the first hello assuming they want to sit inside with their dog...how is this hospitable? Dude was acting like we walked straight into the kitchen and put the dog on the commissary. There's no shortage of coffee shops in the area (and let alone LA...and all of CA) that won't freak the F out over the sight of a 9 lb leashed dog present while ordering an overpriced, sub-par iced coffee. I'll continue supporting those businesses, thanks. Just do everyone a favor and take off "dogs allowed" on your Yelp page. While yes, "only on the patio", but what's the point if we can't even order without y'all kicking up a fuss? Based on other reviews, seems like you've lost other customers to this dog issue as well. I have been visiting Klatch Coffee in Redondo Beach on and off since 2019. It has gotten so bad here they started closing at 3pm during the week instead of 6pm due to a large drop in business. At first, I truly loved the place. The coffee was excellent, and the manager, Daniel, always ensured customers received great service and high quality drinks. Unfortunately, everything took a sharp downward turn after he left. One by one, the really great employees started quitting, and the atmosphere changed completely. Now, the staff are consistently rude, indifferent, and unprofessional. The food is prepared poorly, and drinks are frequently made incorrectly. One recent visit stands out. I went in to buy a bag of organic coffee beans and order my usual long time favorite drink. The barista made it completely wrong. I tried politely letting her know during the process, but she ignored me. I did not want to seem rude by insisting. Minutes after leaving, I realized the drink was undrinkable, so I called the shop to explain and said I would bring it back the next day when I had time. Instead, I was treated rudely over the phone, and when I returned, a new employee remade it incorrectly again because the original barista refused to handle it. I emailed the company to complain, and their response was essentially this: "We will happily take your money if you want to buy a 10oz bag of coffee for $22, but we will not serve you any more drinks or food." They seem perfectly willing to sell me beans, but not to fix or replace the drinks and food they have repeatedly messed up. I visited this location today because I am almost out of coffee, as I said they are willing to sell me an expensive bag of coffee, but said no to making me a drink even though I have not been here for at least a month. It is disappointing to see such a decline in what used to be one of my favorite spots. And don't get me started on how dirty the place is now, with the bathroom keys attached to a nasty little silver cup placed on the counter top right next to the muffin. It does not cost that much to install a coded key-pad doorknob which would be much more clean for a coffee shop then a nasty key attached to a metal cup that the employee handle then takes your order and makes your food and drinks. read more

This coffee shop is systematically defrauding customers. Avoid at all costs! I ordered a nitro cold brew four separate times and was charged the premium nitro price despite them knowingly serving regular cold brew. On my fourth visit, after asking why there were no nitro bubbles, the barista admitted "our gas isn't working" - yet they still charged me the nitro price and handed me regular cold brew without saying a word. They've been doing this deliberately, across multiple employees, multiple visits, multiple days. Let's be clear: They pour the drink, see it's not nitro, knowingly charge the higher price anyway, and hand it over without informing customers of the substitution. This isn't a mistake - it's intentional misrepresentation and overcharging. They're pocketing the price difference on every single nitro order despite knowing their system is broken. I'll be filing reports with: - BBB - State Consumer Protection Office - Local Health Department - My bank and MasterCard for incorrect charges Save your money and time. Let me start off by saying I just found this gem not to long ago and it's my new favorite spot! Parking is my only negative. You have to park next to CVS and walk to the place. I wish there was another entrance but it's just where it's located is on the Main Street. Im always greeted by a friendly face when I walk in. To order is very fast process, no line, but the seating areas can get busy. Plus I didn't wait long for my coffee. I love the caramel Brulé iced however, I just tried that drink blended today and oh man, is it delicious! For me, the place wasn't very inviting and neither was the staff. The ambiance was very dull and lifeless. The aesthetic seemed outdated and it just felt old to me. There was no "oompf". Hubby and I got iced vanilla lattes and a treat. The drink was too sweet for my liking and my muffin was very stale. I'm always happy to find and try new spots. Klatch Coffee in Redondo Beach is a superb spot to get some work done. I've been here twice now, both times with the intention of getting some delicious coffee and working on a report for work. A great success. On my first visit, I was a little confused about the parking situation and entrance but once I realized Klatch is on the corner of Torrance Blvd. and PCH, I found the parking lot behind CVS Pharmacy and was greeted by two friendly employees. In the last year or so, I've found a love of lattes and the lattes at Klatch do not disappoint. During a recent visit I ordered the Lavender Love latte. I also ordered one of the seasonal toasts, I believe it was the Goat Cheese & Honey Toast which was a nice hold me over from my dinner. As I mentioned previously, there is ample space and free Wifi to do work as well as clean restrooms. There is also outdoor seating if that's your preference. I typically don't arrive until 4pm and stay until closing at 6pm. I've had great experiences during each visit and will definitely be back again soon! read more
