Everything tasted moist and well made without feeling like it was trying too hard to be "gluten-free." I'm not personally gluten sensitive, though a couple friends I was with are, and honestly I wouldn't have known it was gluten-free based on the quality and taste alone. The drinks were solid too and paired well with everything we ordered. The whole place has a calm neighborhood bakery feel to it, and you can tell it's a spot locals come back to often.

First, they only offered medium roast coffee, which wasn't to my taste as I prefer the robustness of dark roast. Unfortunately, the coffee I tried was far too sour for my liking. This is just a matter of personal preference, so I'm simply sharing my experience rather than complaining. During my visit, I ordered a large cup of coffee and settled in with my laptop for about an hour and a half. As the battery on my laptop was running low, I plugged it into a nearby outlet. The café started off bustling with customers but eventually quieted down until I was the only one left. A male staff walked around fixing the table and chairs then approached me asking if everything is okay which I initially thought a nice gesture as customer service. However, I did notice that the AC suddenly cranked up, making the place uncomfortably cold. Was it because the shop was too hot? Them initially dressed in short sleeves suddenly donning the long sleeve sweatshirts did not convince me that they turned up the AC because it was hot for them. I got their message and left the shop. Yes I probably should not have used their electricity. I probably should have ordered more than one cup of coffee. But I've never experienced this elsewhere, whether at local spots or chain establishments. I am a local and I've found it convenient to visit from time to time. However, if you prefer dark roast coffee or want to linger for more than an hour, I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

Tried the Crème Brûlée Latte at this cozy spot in Redondo Beach, and overall it was a great experience! The coffee itself tastes really good--smooth and flavorful--but the drink was a little on the milky side for me. I'd recommend asking for an extra shot of espresso if you like a stronger coffee flavor. The latte is sweet (as expected with crème brûlée), but if you're not into super sweet drinks, you can definitely ask them to tone it down a bit. The place itself has a chill vibe and is perfect for hanging out or getting some work done. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area! read more

The black dude who works there is the worst. He is unfriendly, rude and he always gives me the bug eyes. He wants to be white so bad. (Sorry, I am not racist. I am stating the truth) Other than that the rest of the staff is great and their high end coffees are awesome. I would prefer to come here because of their premium coffees. But I don't like the black worker. I would give this place more stars but the black guy always makes me feel unwelcome and I don't need that kind of disrespect.
