This place has been on my list for a while and I'm glad I finally got to go. I really enjoyed my food and the hookah. The names for the speciality drinks are cute but I won't lie I wasn't a fan. I'm obsessed with passion fruit and I hated that drink. It was even remade and still was bad. But thankfully I got drinks prior so I wasn't pressed. I enjoyed my food a lot. They have penne alla vodka also just not displayed on the menu. Customer was very goo and attentive as well. I wil be coming back for their HH! Oh! We called ahead of time to make sure reservations weren't needed. We were told to hurry (we were a party of 2.) When we got there, there weren't many people, but this QUICKLY changed, so it was good we hurried over. Hummus and pita were unique and delicious. Drinks were good. I don't really do hookah, but it was notably better than other spots I've tried. The servers are amazing, fun, friendly, and beautiful! Everyone is working hard and making sure you have everything you need--especially Pollen, the server--what a gem! Owner went out of his way to make us feel welcomed, which was much appreciated. A small lounge in midtown with a DJ, hookah and overpriced cocktails . The food menu is very limited. The only sides available last night was white rice and french fries. The food took approx 1 hour to come out some people on the table got their food in 1hr 45 min ( the food in question was a quesadilla and pasta with vodka sauce ) even if it was being made fresh not sure how it could take that long . Many tables around us had the very same complaint their response was the kitchen is backed up . We got to the lounge around 9:30 states until 1:30 ordered bottle service that didn't arrive until midnight so of course on top of our bottle service we also ordered some of their very basic $20+ cocktails . Last night, following the suggestion of one of my girlz, we celebrated the bday girl in our friend's group at KLOUD. After seeing a great video upload online, we gave it a try. Sooo glad that we did! I was first to arrive out of our party of four. I was greeted, seated and offered a menu right away. I ordered a drink called Some Like It Hot. It was tequila based with added ginger and a skewer of sliced lime and jalapeños for a little spice. Served in a very pretty glass, it was such a nice sip. Very soon after, all four of us were there and the festivities began! We munched on tasty bulgogi sliders, gooey, saucy, skillet mac and cheese, fries, crispy calamari and VERY tasty Cajun wings. The wings were so crispy and hot and seasoned with flavors that had actual NOLA pizzazz. After our food and a few rounds of cocktails, we ordered hookah. It was so smooth and it burned for a looong time. We were ready to frolic and the DJ (Mike) encouraged our shenanigans. We shook our money makers all over KLOUD! The staff enjoyed our energy, the DJ was AMAZING. Big fun was had by all. The staff treated us to free shots and the bday girl's drink was served to her in a large, gorgeous glass. We smoked, drank, mixed and mingled with other patrons and vibed to a non-stop mix of R&B, early 2000s hip hop, trap and house music. KLOUD is also a really good looking place, perfect for selfies and photo shoots. If you want a restaurant/bar that feels like a fab night in Miami or even Vegas, KLOUD is where it's at! read more

Attended my cousin birthday dinner. It was about 15 of us. The space wasn't big enough to sit all of us but we managed. The food menu was limited. They offered a lot of halal dishes but anything I would normally eat. I decided to order the lemon pepper wings and calamari. My mocktail was good but really sweet. I added the sparking water to give it a fizz. As far as the service, it was sketchy. Our server and another server were fake nice. They seemed a bit annoyed at certain times. I actually had some words with one of them. Because of the seating, a couple of us had to keep getting up to let people out to use the restroom etc. At one point I slid down to the next table and one of the servers asked that I remove myself because she was seating another party. I stated to her it wouldn't be a problem when the party arrived. So when they did finally get to the table I slid back down to our table however our coats were still halfway at the other table. This server rudely says to me "you NEED to move your coats". Clearly she knew I didn't mean for the coats to be at the other table (which literally is 3 inches away). She clearly seen my whole party wasn't seated. Going back to the calamari, I ordered a little later because I was still hungry. The first time I got it, it was undercooked. When I got it back it was overcooked. Unfortunately, I got sick on the way home. A part of me wished I didn't send it back and just said forget it. My family actually loved the experience. The establishment is beautiful I won't lie. They only had one working bathroom which was a MESS! It clearly was a male bathroom. I do think they are over priced. Kitchen ran out of the entrees we put in . The owner did their best to accommodate us which I appreciate. But definitely some kinks to work out . Hookah is fabulous I will give it that . I came here this past Saturday after brunch only because we were in this area and I was looking for a cool place to go afterwards. I saw that they had hookah and cool cocktails so my friends and I decided to check it out. The decor was so chic and also chill and romantic at the same time. We had the pleasure of meeting Sam and Sandra the most beautiful woman who helped to serve us this day. Sam made me a lychee martini with empress gin instead of vodka and it was delicious! She came up with other variations of drinks for me and my friends as well. She made recommendations for our hookah flavor and even the food we chose. The service was so nice, the vibe was amazing and it was such a pleasant surprise to find this cute little spot on park avenue!! Love love love it! Can't want to come back! read more

The food was absolutely delicious. Everything came out hot, flavorful and juicy. I got a bottle package and my friends got other drinks. We were recommended a new hookah flavor which was a mixture of blueberry, orange and vanilla and it was amazing! Hands down the best hookah lounge in Manhattan I've been to. Three stars due to lack of transparency and useable bathroom: firstly it is very pretty inside, the drinks were very tasty. The hookah was also very good. I had the Greek salad which I felt was small for the price, just 6 pieces of shrimp. My friend had the pasta with shrimp, she enjoyed it. I had two issues with this place, one is they were not transparent about the service charge. I was charged a 20% service charge which is usually only applied when there's 4 or more people in the party. I don't mind a service charge, my issue is that it was not disclosed. On our way out the owner of the place stopped and asked about experience, I let him know everything was good but I was not happy about the lack of transparency with the service charge, he said "this is Manhattan" which I don't think is a fair way to reply to a customer expressing a concern. I've been to hookah lounges in Times Square and they have not charged service charges especially not without letting the guest know before hand. That interaction was a good opportunity for the owner to apologize and refund the service charge but he did not. One more thing, there was two bathrooms, a ladies room and one for the gentleman's. The ladies room was unusable as the door was torn off from the hinge and then the gentleman's room had no toilet seat... I had to squat to use the bathroom and often times there was a line since there was only one usable bathroom.Kind of funny to have a service charge but then have no proper bathroom for your customers to use. Both of these things I was able to just accept and go about my day but I thought it's something others should know when visiting. Bottom line the lack of transparency is unacceptable, the owners reply was not good and the condition of the bathrooms was concerning. Keep in mind this place is brand new and they are still working on their establishment. I did still Enjoy my time and the hookah so I'm definitely willing to return. read more

I guess I had to choose a star. The workers were friendly. This restaurant is not attentive at all when I arrive there was a food error there was no food available till 7pm and they opened at 4 for happy hour. 50% OFF happy hour because they know the food is not seasoned or prepared well enough for the price. Empanadas had no cheese just unseasoned meat and the Mac and cheese was worse than velveeta. There was a piece of straight black hair stuck in the Mac. I am not sure why I ordered food considering a group next to us returned all their food back to the kitchen and said it was not flavorful and they could taste the batter. We sat and waited 45 mins for someone to even ask us what we wanted then once we ordered they didn't serve us until 30 mins after. There was way too much socializing from the staff and not enough service. We realized how long we waited for a drink the staff then began to give free shots because of so many dissatisfied customers. We ordered some appetizers because we really came for the food and that took and additional two hours for us to get. This place should never be recommended. The owner is who makes the place worth going he was a true King but new chef, menu, and customer service training is mandatory!! read more

Had reservations for 4:00PM because we figured it'll be really crowded being that it was fathers day. Upon arrival we were greeted by a gentlemen who told me and my guest that the kitchen was closed but still would serve us drinks and hookah. Explained that we came from far and people with reservations should have at least gotten a phone call about the kitchen being closed, especially on a Holiday such as fathers day. He apologized and we decided to stay for a drink. Drinks arrived but were really sour, explained this to the same gentlemen whom greeted us but unfortunately he didn't bother to offer us new drinks but instead shots inside the drinks. Then CLEARLY stated out loud we would have to pay for shots. More than likely wont be giving this place another chance. read more

This was the most unprofessional unorganized understaffed establishment I've ever been to! There weren't enough menus to provide to our party, 1st red flag ! The menus that were provided were partially torn and occasionally a waitress would come to "borrow" some for other tables. 2nd red flag We waited over an hour for our drinks, which were mediocre at best! We finally managed to order appetizers and had to wait another hour! The appetizers weren't brought out together they were staggered which was weird. Our whole party didn't receive their order. Our server was polite and seemed overwhelmed the manager left all the responsibility to the staff. At one point the bartender and server were asked to help out in the kitchen!! Yes they were pulled to assist in the kitchen. Idk how kosher that was or if they had any food and health certifications.... Bathrooms were overflowing... while management walked around flirting with women and seen snacking on food while patrons sat patiently waiting for hours for appetizers for their tables. This was a complete waste of time and money! We left a hungry and sober. What was supposed to be a big celebration turned into a nightmare. The Dj kept us there as long as we were that was the one positive! As for the ambiance it was mediocre as well high priced mirrors for influencers to take pictures. Dim lights to create a mood for horrible date nights when food and drinks aren't available ... they need to close down and rehire retrain and rebrand! I was extremely disappointed with this restaurant. I read the reviews but still gave it a chance and the reviews are correct. They're not ready yet. The food was mediocre. It took us over half hour just for them to put water on our tables. Then the manager came over and said the menu we were using will be changed to a new one after waiting over 20 minutes to order. When we got the new one we were told they're only serving the same appetizers from the previous menu, hence we were only allowed to order appetizers and even that was limited. The chicken was good, I was shocked at the presentation of the salad. No culinary skills in food presentation and food decor at all. . I was extremely embarrassed because I planned this day out to celebrate a birthday for a group of friends. As far as the ambience, it looks much better in pictures.
