These guys are a lifesaver. I'm so grateful for this delightful pizza tonight! If you are in a pinch or too tired to cook, make this your go to!

We had driven by this place a number of times and we stopped on a Sunday afternoon. It was a pleasure to see see a "salad bar" and actually eat from one. The pizza and breadsticks were yummy. Worth the stop if traveling down highway 30.

Their Italian sub, looks like it was made from leftover pizza ingredients...

The worst "Italian Sub" I've ever had. Should have trusted my first impression and left, when I first walk in. Prices seemed high but thought I'd give them a try since I was hungry and on the road. always trust your gut, especially when it comes to food. Really a bad experience.

Bartender was mean and nasty and I do not want to go back. Bad vibe and ambiance. Wouldn't stop in if I was passing through again.

The pizza is always great! I would venture to say it rivals some of the wood fired pizzas I've had in Astoria. Fresh hand thrown crust!

We usually eat lunch in Astoria, but since we have driven past the Logger restaurant so many times,…read morewe decided to give it a try. What a quaint restaurant with its rustic decor and knotty pine walls. There were lots of pictures on the walls pertaining to the logging industry and a few antiques mixed in also. The menu had a wide variety of choices too. My husband ordered the Reuben sandwich with onion rings and I ordered a Patty melt with coleslaw. Our waitress, Marissa, was attentive and friendly. We expected the sandwiches to be huge and these were enormous! We could have split one easily. I immediately set half of mine aside to take home. My husband ate all of his, and shared some onion rings with me. I loved the creamy coleslaw, and it was also a nice sized portion. The Patty melt was served on the same thick swirled rye bread as the Reuben. There were lots of freshly cooked caramelized onions on my sandwich and the beef patty was thick and cooked perfectly. We had no room for dessert, but those homemade pies were very tempting. They also serve milkshakes in about a dozen different flavors. No one would ever leave this restaurant hungry! Plenty of food for man-sized appetites! Not only that, but we noticed that there was parking space out back set aside for loggers to park their big rigs when they dine there. There was plenty of room to turn around, and we made note of that in case we stop during when we are towing our camping trailer. Great food and exceptional service always makes for a very pleasant dining experience!

Hubs immediately spotted the "Milkshakes" sign and requested that as a "starter." Though certainly considered a tad bit older than a child, he also honed in on the Grilled Cheese sandwich with fries and asked if that could be an "adult" offering. 'Sure! It's one of my favorites!' was the smiling reply. Despite the cold rain, I was in the mood for some cool greens, so I ordered the Northwest Chicken salad w/ grilled chicken, pecans, "craisins", red cabbage and feta. It also came with a side of garlic toast, the same style used for his cheddar cheese sandwich. Well, THAT was all very delicious! Their baked goods looked tempting, but the rain had eased and we still had a couple hours ahead on the road. So I snapped a few pics of the adorable decor then bid farewell. If we find ourselves along Highway 30, 14 miles east of Astoria, in the quiet little enclave of Knappa, we will surely stop in again. Cheers! "CC"

Second, their draft list offers a variety of beers at a good price. Third, they have an awesome outdoor area. Fourth, and this is worth stressing for businesses in Oregon and Washington, they are INDOOR dog friendly! Yes, they don't have an internal kitchen and this decision is precisely why your furry friend doesn't have to die in the cold or get wet in the rain. Only suggestion I really have is it would be great to see a few more options for beer brewed outside the PNW (of course, this is NW Beerwerks so I get it). But seriously, this place is great and you and your hopefully very friendly dog should frequent it.

Such a great place to stop and enjoy beer or beer tasting!…read more They offer flights of 4 from the on tap selection which changes frequently depending on the season. There's so much seating in front, inside at the bar, inside at the nook rooms (it's a house converted to a tap room), as well are more outside seating on the side and in the back! The barstools are lovely and heavy. So sturdy and comfortable for being iron and wood. The service is always friendly and welcoming, offering suggestions and will go out of their way to try and locate a beer if you were looking for something specific (they may just have more in stock in their storage area so don't be afraid to ask if you want a beer that you don't see in the coolers for can/bottle purchase). This is just a great place to relax and enjoy! There's food trucks next door but I'm not sure what their hours are. I was there Sunday in the afternoon and the food trucks were closed. But you can bring in outside food anyway and don't have to rely on just those trucks.
