Knead is so underrated and doesn't recieve the hype it deserves. The vietnamese coffee with variety of tops you could get on it...sooo good!! The coffee has different levels so if you need a pick me up or CSULB students, it's finals week? Def check out this place. The service is quick and super nice so you can just sit for a few minutes and get your coffee asap! Also maybe snap a quick pic with your office with the LB sign by the door.

The store is cute with insta decorations. Alex is speedy and very informative about their items. Kronuts are fluffy, not greasy. Highly recommend

Coffee and donuts are soooo fire! The service is exceptional, with friendly, happy staff. Calm vibe with two tables and a sitting spot. Thank you, Knead!!! Can't wait to return.

01/14/25 A small store in a strip right next to 7-11. I was greeted by both employees working. The girl who helped me was very nice and patient with me while I tried to make hard decisions. First time visiting but recently had a kronut. It was my last day of work last week and my coworker bought some donuts from here. I tried the strawberry kronut and MY OH MY. Where have you been all my life?! I loved it so much that I had to get it again! Filled with slices of strawberry with what tastes like whipped creamed cheese with a strawberry jam mixed in and topped with powdered sugar. It's sooooooo good. I also tried the Nutella kronut. This was a perfect treat to satisfy a chocolate craving. The main thing about these kronuts is that they're not overly sweet. Like they don't use a lot of sugar. It was just the perfect amount of sweet. You have to try it to understand lol I also got a Vietnamese iced coffee. This was amazing as well. Overall 10/10. Will definitely be back!

Great donuts and friendly service. They are a bit pricey but very special. Creative and very tasty, worth it for a special treat! They also make great Viet Coffee and Boba drinks! Today was just a special donut run! So many great flavors to choose from! Everyone I picked was a big hit with the family! We split several to try more flavors! Guava Cream, prettiest donut and so good. Dubai Chocolate Cronut, the priciest of the six, very messy and yummy, and had some strawberries inside. Who doesn't like Dubai Chocolate and together with a cronut? Definitely a winner. I personally loved the Nutella and this one I didn't share, another messy but so tasty! Berry Cronut was devoured by husband, he was late to the party! Thumbs up. Cinnamon bun and Apple Fritter is saved for tomorrow. Knead has very fresh and creative donuts. Been there many times, consistently great! It's nice to see them expand. There is a new Long Beach in Signal Hill, near Costco. The PCH/Clark location is closest to home, although I patronize both!

The donuts here have rich and fluffy textures. Love my strawberry one. Knead Donuts & Tea 5105 Pacific Coast Hwy, Long Beach, CA 90804

tl;dr the eclectic array of ambitious (and pricey) donuts can feel overwhelming -- but a piping hot tiger tail is a safe and satisfying bet Los Angeles is a donut town through and through, but plenty of LA's most talked-about donuts are outside of the city proper. One such spot is the family-owned-and-operated Knead Donuts & Tea, a trendy Long Beach bakery just a few minutes south of Pacific Coast Highway. The ambitious flavors -- think pastelito de guayaba-inspired croissant donuts or Remy Martin-infused rings -- fuel one of the city's most picturesque Instagram feeds and attract visitors across Southern California. From the street, Knead's enormous backlit sign eclipses an otherwise diminutive shack. Inside, the inviting shop has pops of Cambodian flair, from the temple incorporated into the logo to Buddhist icons intermixed among the houseplants and framed accolades. On the weekend, expect to witness staff members hard at work preparing fresh donuts, as fresh trays keep coming out of the kitchen even late into the morning. No music plays -- only the chatter between staff and regulars echoes around the narrow room. My partner and I visited on a weekend morning, and we were immediately offered to begin our order with piping-hot Tiger Tail fresh out of the fryer (I was impressed by the courtesy, as plenty of other tiger tails were already sitting out on the display case). We ended up getting 4 donuts. The aforementioned tiger tail was the highlight: I was most impressed by the crispy, funnel cake-esque texture of sugar folded within a pillowy, forearm-sized package. Meanwhile, the gorgeous Guava Cream Cheese sported a light, flaky croissant donut base, although I found the rich flavor swirl to be more cream cheese-y than guava-forward. Knead's Maple Bacon was also enjoyable; the flavor profile was notably smoky, and I appreciated the even distribution of crispy bacon bits and thick icing. Only the Creme Brulee donut was a true dud; the thin crisp of glazed sugar and subtly vanilla-flavored filling were both muted and forgettable. The staff was efficient and inviting, and the donuts were enjoyable overall. Nonetheless, our $25 bill made me raise my eyebrows. Even at their best, Knead's donuts are better described as "unique" than "exceptional". And for $5+ per donut, I wouldn't be a regular even if I lived in the neighborhood. Still, the whimsical mashups are a fun option for the adventurous donut lover.

Amazing service and amazing kronuts! The banana cheesecake is 10000/10. They have a great food selection as well as drink selection.

Soooo yummy! My favorite viet coffee, sweet and strong. The sexy red donut and the biscoff cronut to die for. Always great service!

Their food is not cover up in a proper glass container , I walked in and saw a fly flying and landing on the donuts on the left told the owner and he acts like he doesn't care , made me want to throw up i cant eat that and would never eat that until he fixes and actually contains his food and not let it sit out

Food: 5/5 Very tasty speciality donuts with a variety of flavor option. I'm a big fan of oreo so definitely which was very good. The others including cheesecake, cobbler were also fantastic! Service: 5/5 Staff were inviting and speedy. Ambiance: 5/5 Although location is small and parking can be a little tight, the shop is very nicely decorated with lots of glass enclosures for displaying donut. Nice Long Beach Donut shop to check out. Also love the box design!

Parking is plentiful, although the lot can fill up during peak hours since it is shared with several nearby retailers and restaurants. The shop itself is well maintained, especially considering how long it has been in business. Everything appeared clean and organized, including the small dining area where customers can sit and enjoy their food or drinks. Service was quick, efficient, and straightforward. The staff seemed pleasant, though my visit was brief, so I didn't have enough interaction to fully evaluate the level of customer service. I ordered the chai milk tea, which I enjoyed. However, from what I remember, they're particularly known for their mango green tea, which is refreshing and worth trying if it's still on the menu. Overall, it's a clean, well-kept spot with a convenient location, quick service, and a comfortable place to relax with a drink.

Hence the 3 stars. The only 2 staff there, 2 young ladies were no slouch at all, they were slammed! They both moved with a purpose. It's a very small shop. There were 2 kiosks as soon as you walked in. I counted 11 customers including myself waiting for their drinks. No outdoor seating, only 3 small tables with 7 chairs, 1 bench that sat 4 adults, no restrooms. This used to a candy shop a while back. Normally I would take photos of the establishment but there were too many people inside & I did not want to bother them & include them in the photos, if I could help it at all. I ordered via kiosk coz the staff were ultra bz. Usually, I prefer the human interaction but not encountered at this visit. Got the taro smoothie for Hubby & got an iced mango green tea, both were decent. I liked my refreshing drink at 50 % sweetness level & easy on the ice. Next time, for any Gong Cha shop, will go on an odd time, not when it's prime time like weekends. It was good but waiting in a small shop for 30 minutes was long, if it was food for a party of 4 or more, I would've been more forgiving. Decor needs a little bit of work, nothing flashy, just, something, anything lol :-)

It had a mixture of lime and passion fruit (you can see the seeds on the bottom of the drink) but the flavor was not strong at all. The flavor leaned more tart and citrusy rather than passion fruit. These options are replaced by cheap imitations of Starbucks' frothy drinks that sound good on paper but taste like iced piss with sugar. The drinks are excessively sweet, a mortal sin by Asian standard, and they have a generic taste that might as well have one item on the entire menu.
