Not a good experience at all, better off driving to a different one or just not going. Wait time for the food was inconvenient but not horrible. They didn't put the lid on my soup all the way on so when I got in the car I had the pleasure of hot soup all over my lap. Went inside and they replaced it, girl was apologetic and nice. I used to love Kneaders, they made awesome salads and loaded them with turkey. Lately, I've been super unimpressed. I bought the turkey cranberry salad expecting to have TURKEY with that $8.29 salad. Instead I basically paid to eat a giant bowl of lettuce! I went back to complain/ask about the lack of turkey and my answer was "that's what it is supposed to be". I like the food, generally. There is nothing spectacular about the food. Their small bread loaves are fairly good, but the Kneaders in Lehi is particularly slow. You can't win, drive through is a minimum of 15 minutes and going in can be longer. I keep giving Kneaders more chances and I always regret it. Even as I am typing this I have seen multiple people complain about how slow they are, and continue to ask the people at the counter if their order is coming. Definitely avoid the lunch rush hour. **** update**** After a 20+ minute wait I finally asked for a refund because I had to leave. All I ordered was a sandwich. This morning my wife met her friends for breakfast. She'd heard wonderful things about the French Toast and had to try it. She was delivered a plate with 2 pieces and was disappointed with the first. Hungry, she started on the second only to notice that it was covered with mold! For a time she sat quietly in order to spare her friends, and quietly stepped up to the counter with the offending breakfast item. The mold was clearly visible, and the person at the could was "Sorry, I can take that for you." Then the employee took her plate and was gone. This Kneaders location has the slowest and most inaccurate service of any restaurant I've been to recently. The food lures me here, but I always regret my decision when I get stuck in a slow line. Lehi Kneaders...the Trash Panda of bakeries! Worst cinnamon roll my wife and I have eaten in years. We had such high hopes... Kneaders is a bakery so bread and rolls should be what they specialize in. Well cinnamon rolls are where they FAIL. They are dry, hard to chew, and barely have any icing. And make sure you don't ask for extra icing because that isn't possible. They don't have icing anywhere in the bakery, other than what is already on the rolls. For a better cinnamon roll go to a Maverick gas station...way better than Kneaders. If you want the best cinnamon roll you're likely to ever eat...go to Midway Bakery, Midway, UT. They have cinnamon rolls that are worth the drive and they actually have friendly and considerate service too! read more

Had a great meal at Kneaders with the family. Loved my French dip. The au jus reminded me of family trips to SLC for meat pies- (until now had never found an au jus that matches my memory.) Kneaders is a perfect place to meet friends for breakfast or lunch! Pick up pastries and treats that are made in house? So great! This location was dirty with overflowing trash cans sticky dirty floors and a tub of ice with a cup in it for the customers to use...and tons of teenagers that seemed pretty clueless. It wasn't busy and yet most if them stood around talking to each other. When we complained the manager seemed pretty unconcerned and she kept adjusting her pants then touching every surface.. Wow! Yum! Yum! And more YUM! I would eat here everyday if it were socially acceptable. My husband and I usually can get a sandwich (for him), salad (for me) & 2 desserts for around $20. The unlimited French toast in the morning will make you clap with joy, especially with the creme they serve with it. And, you can get a side of bacon for pretty cheap & get quite a few pieces! For lunch/dinner the creme of broccoli is delicious and their bread bowls remind me of Panera (which I'm obsessed with). Neither my husband nor I have ever been disappointed with the Turkey, Bacon Avocado sandwich (which you can also get as a salad to save on carbs). The turkey, cranberry, sunflower salad is also really good, but be warned that the raspberry dressing it comes with IS, indeed, very sweet. The only sandwich I've had that I wasn't thrilled with was chicken pesto panini, but with so many other options, I can't fault them on having one sandwich that isn't my favorite. (My husband thought their strawberry smoothie was too sweet, but I didn't try it.) You can also buy loaves of bread & have them sliced. The hazelnut loaf has ACTUAL hazelnuts in it, which at first glance was weird, but is so tasty & adds a fun crunch! Every Thanksgiving we order our pies here, and our family/guests are always SO excited. Pumpkin & the apple crumble are my favorites. Sooooo crazy good. Set your pick up time for the first time slot & you won't have to wait to in line pick up your pie (I almost hesitate to say this). Last: every dessert is AMAZING! First, during the lunch-time rush there was only one cashier. It made for an extremely long wait just to order. Second, after we finally placed our order we went to find a table. I did split an omelette too so it wasn't that the FT was bad...but I don't think I'd double down and get a 2nd plate French Toast even without the omelette. Kneaders is just average. Better than grocery store bakery (well, except Harmon's) but nothing to rave about. Their breads are perfectly adequate. Their croissants are a mediocre imitation and barely deserving the name. They are soggy and not very buttery. The almond ones have that strong almond flavoring taste that is not pleasant, and they are very, very soggy. A croissant should be crisp. Anyways, don't order the croissants unless you like them soggy. Their sugar cookies are just fine. Their cheesecakes are good. The tarts are good but the crust is soggy and not very buttery. Their sandwiches are ok but their salads have wilted greens more often than not. One thing that they make very well is the raspberry bread pudding and the cinnamon bread--which makes great French toasts. Which reminds me of their breakfasts. The French toast is good but they should serve them with more than a quarter strawberry, and I don't care that much for the caramel syrup. Their prices are ok and service is hit and miss. read more

I guess you can say that I'm a recent convert to Kneaders. For a long time I thought they sold small portions of OK food for really high prices. However, over the last few weeks I've been convinced otherwise. I stopped by the other night in a rush to a friends and ordered the Turkey, Bacon, Avocado and they toasted it for me. It was REALLY good. So because of that I went back today and got a salad and loved it as well (though it wasn't that large of a salad). Kneaders is one of those restaurants you can always count on. Whether you are going out for date night, a lunch meeting, or catering a big group. It tastes good every time. Today I went, just to do some work, snack a bit, and meet with an associate. Great environment, good noise level, and a fun, busy environment. It was a different experience just coming to snack. I had a soda, a couple slices of hazelnut multi-grain, and an eclair. All good! Not super healthy, but... Oh well. My only critique: be a little more adventurous with your desserts. You're a bakery. This place is very poorly managed. This is coming over the span of many years. Always out of sourdough bread, never remember special instructions on orders, long wait times and just poor customer service in general. After getting a salad at a competitor near the point of the mountain I actually don't know why anyone would come here again. With that said, their desserts are great, chicken soup is good but expensive and their breakfast tastes great. But again if you show up even a min after the stop serving breakfast, they won't accommodate. I understand policy but they are far too rigid for a customer service based restaurant. read more
