We had under 20 people so the 25 piece order was more than enough. They gave plenty of napkins, utensils, serving utensils, strawberries, a big serving of the caramel syrup (yum!) and whipped cream to match the order. Tip: if you're picking up your order, I'd suggest to make the pickup time 15-20 min ahead of your actual needed time. In my reservation, I put 445pm pickup time but they weren't ready until 5pm. It wasn't a problem though because I didn't need to be out of there until 515pm. Overall, great food that is perfect for catering! I like going to this location for lunch while I'm at work. I always go through the drive thru, and they have been very prompt each time. The people working are efficient and kind. I get the turkey bacon avocado sandwich on focaccia. I love this sandwich, and the bread is always so fresh. I think they do a good job at cooking the bacon because it's always crispy. This place has really good vibes to me and I'd recommend it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. read more

Yet another drive-through in the land of drive-through establishments. I don't live in a place where there are numerous drive-throughs, and the ones nearby are mostly fast food. In and around Salt Lake, there were entirely different drive-through options. It was almost unusual to find a restaurant that was NOT a drive through. which brings me to Kneaders Bakery and Cafe. I drove right up to the window and ordered a turkey sandwich on wheat bread with mayo, lettuce and tomato, waited a few minutes and drove away with my bag. Back story: I am 36 weeks pregnant and severely malnourished and havent been able to keep any food down, im actually getting an IV tomorrow for it. First time here, went through the drive thru. It's 9pm and we drove up to the speaker. I couldn't understand what the cashier was saying. She informed me what a veggie sandwich has kneaders sauce. I ordered that and this is what I got. It took me about 20-30min to get home. By the time I bit into my sandwich my bread was soggy and the pink stuff was jelly. The woman before us ordered a lot of pastries, and the line behind us and in the drive thru slowly grew pretty long. We ordered 2 sandwiches and a handful of pastries including 2 eclairs. We sat down and waited for almost an hour while we watched the staff struggle and scramble to serve every single customer that was in line AFTER us. We watched them all walk out with their orders while we continued to wait despite us being in line first. Then about 45 min later the staff calls our name and tells us "sorry we're out of eclairs." ......probably because they oversold & sent them out with all those folks in line behind us. It should be mentioned, while we sat and waited, we watched them mess up literally every single other patron's order as well, including people coming back in from the drive thru. I just paid $5 for a tiny, stale eclair that tasted like freezer burn and another $5 for a dry, flavorless cinnamon roll that is a step down from what you would get at a gas station. We were looking for a place close to our hotel for dinner and came across Kneaders. It was very busy, but our wait for very short. I love their chicken pesto panini so I knew right away that's what I was getting. My dad ordered the Dave's BLT. The cashier was very friendly and patient while my dad who has never been ordered. The location was clean even though busy and smelled so good! All those desserts drawing me on lol. Our food came out so quick. They even brought to us. Our food was good and my sandwich warm and flavorful. My only negative was that it was barely toasted..it was just enough where I was still able to eat it without complaint to reheat. In the future though they may want to actually press it like a panini. When we were leaving we ordered some caramel cheesecake to go. This evening my husband and I went to the drive thru at your restaurant. We ordered loaf of sliced sour dough bread, Bowl of Irish stew, a turkey avocado bacon salad and a chocolate dome for desert. when our order came our bread was not sliced and we asked Clerk if we could get it sliced. She said no problem and a minute later she said machine was broke and they couldn't slice it. It seemed a little suspicious as she took it and then said machine was broke. We always order this bread weekly and never a problem. My husband enjoyed the stew but I was not happy with my salad. This is not the first time I have had an issue with a salad, either very little turkey or mostly lettuce and not much else. This is the worst location in the valley honestly the items are a shell of what the chain is known for. I grab a loaf of the sourdough and after I get home (used drive thru) the loaf is completely uneatable look at the pic, not only is it like a bag of bruschetta toast slices, the bottom is completely burned, dried out, and hard as a rock. The first time I went to a Kneaders I was so excited. SO MUCH DESSERT! But as time has gone on I've become less impressed, especially in regards to their food. It's fine, but it's not great. This location always seems to take FOREVER to complete your order. Even when nothing I've ordered requires any sort of preparation. I will give them props for their sugar cookies, though. They are thick and soft, and I like to treat myself to one every few months. I will also get a caramel apple every once in a while (but I wish they made them with dark chocolate instead of milk). I have been coming to this place for many years and today was the first time I remembered to check in and post on Yelp. The inside tables were dirty and hadn't been cleaned and the place only had 3 other people inside. We opted to do take away since we didn't want to put them out by asking them to clean the tables of an almost empty restaurant. The turkey bacon avocado wasn't that great, the bread was really dry, the bacon looked to be leftover from breakfast and the turkey only had a few pieces. I've eaten Kneaders before at this same location and others. We came in from out of town and wanted the famous French toast. It was very dry. You can use dry bread, or day old bread, that is even recommended, but you have to get a good soak in the egg mixture and then cook it through. That takes time. Our orders were out in a few minutes and it was clear they didn't take the time to do it right. We had dry French toast that wasn't hot enough to melt the cream and just a thin layer of egg mixture on the outside. If this was my only Kneaders experience, I'd not go back. Please get back to the basics and do it right. read more

Last night I went though the drive thru to get some soup on a rainy evening thinking it would be quick but was I wrong. It took them about 5 minutes to take my order. Once I paid at the second window it took about 15 minutes to get my 2 bowls of soup. All the employees were just sitting around doing nothing, chit chatting with others and listening to their air pods. I would try to wave them down to come talk to me but they would just ignore me. Finally Simeon talked to me but it seemed like they forgot about my order. I know it's hard to find workers to work fast food but if you want to stay open and succeed. You either need to better manage your and store and employees or find better ones with an actual work ethic. read more

The good news is the chocolate brownies are still great! The bad news is that probably due to inflation there's barely any meat in the sandwiches anymore. I ordered a half roast beef sandwich which came with barely a slice of roast beef, like a half or third. I ordered a roast beef sandwich not a vegetarian bread sandwich! The sandwich ingredients by themselves are good but I had to look in there to find any roast beef. This is just really PATHETIC and sad. I've avoided this place for over five years. I went back. It still sucks. I was craving soup and a sandwich for lunch. I was really hungry, and really impulsive. So I went to Kneaders, despite the warning of my subconscious. I tried the Chicken Pesto Panini, with the Three Cheese Cauliflower Soup. Consistent with every other time I've been here, it was all bread, and virtually no meat. The chicken was frighteningly thin, tasted weird, and maybe covered a third of the lame ass 'country' bread in was served on. A few wilted lettuce leaves and desiccated tomato slices, (and no pesto that I could detect) made this sandwich a massive disappointment. The bread was clearly not properly pressed, with virtually no butter on it to create a true panini. It was just dry bread with grill marks on it. Like every other sandwich I have tried here, it just did not live up to it's name. The soup was barely OK, but the serving was less then a half a cup. The parmesan chips that came with it were stale; virtually inedible. The cheesy, supposedly decorative knick knacks for sale were annoying, but likely suitable for the clientele, which on my visits average at about 75 years of age. I think old people with no taste buds keep this place afloat. Every time I've eaten at Kneaders, I left pissed off. If a restaurant puts you in a bad mood, it's a good idea to avoid it. Pushing us out the door before we even ordered. All of them had at least one headphone in. Started cleaning up the dining area the moment we sat down. Were vacuuming right next to us so we couldn't here one another talk, swing open the trash bins then practically spill trash on our food. Getting glared at by one of the girls for a solid 1 minute. All around rudeness and it's not like we got there right before they close it was 7:50 when we walk in the door and they close at 9:00pm. They were also handling food right after touching floor mats and trash bags.
