We came here on a weekday to try out their breakfast. I enjoyed my French toast while my buddy enjoyed her croissant sandwich. It was delicious.

While the coconut French toast was delicious the customer service left a lot to be desired. I walked in and had to speak multiple times before I was greeted. Having never been there before I asked if we sat ourselves and one worker merely nodded as if speaking was too much. It was empty albeit clean although I did notice one table top was cracked all the way across and needed to be replaced. Even as I was leaving I was ignored and I will not be back. French toast was good though.

Food was good-ish. I ordered a Turkey bacon avocado combo and wanted soup. My intention was to upgrade my soup to a bigger size but they said I couldn't do that, I'd have to order a bigger size on the side. That was interesting. So I ordered a combo with chips and ordered a medium bowl of soup which was an extra 8 dollars. So for my sandwich and side of soup, it was about 19 dollars. It was alright. Overall I'd prefer Panera. Broccoli cheddar soup was on same level as Panera but the turkey bacon avocado was ehh. My wife ordered a berry pecan salad that was good but was $15.50. After tax our food for two was $39. That's crazy to me. If I'm paying 40 dollars for a sandwich, chips, bowl of soup, and a salad, at least present it well. It was on plastic cafeteria plates with the salad in a plastic container like Whataburger. My soup was in a to go container as well. The vibe was off for a 40 meal. Also, the store was cluttered. Go to Panera. Food is better and cheaper.

Good food & service. I ordered the bbq salad and the salad was really tasty, I enjoyed the bbq sauce on the salad. I also ordered the cilantro dressing but I wasn't a fan of the two of them together (my choice, I wouldn't do them both together again) I also ordered a fruit tart and was very underwhelmed by it. The filling tasted like vanilla frosting and not like most tarts, I would skip the fruit tart if you're looking for a more traditional one with custard instead of frosting.

If you want great bread and soup. This is the place for you. However, I don't recommend their French Dip Sandwich- save your money and order a Baggett roll only, since that is what you actually receive.

Gave this another shot! This time we dined in! Came in on a Monday around 10 am not busy at all. Ordered a chicken pesto, which came with chips Enjoyed the raspberry cream cheese and chocolate croissants! My son enjoyed the french toast kids meal (comes with 3 french toast sticks and a drink) No issues with service and I like how they have signs to clean up as you go!

The French toast with berries and cream was really good, the eggs were just okay and so was the coffee. They had a $3 special on the croissant sandwiches that looked really good so next time I plan on trying that. Overall the location was cute, I just wasn't crazy about what I ordered.

We have also had the grilled cheese and chicken pesto panini. Everything we have had from here has been amazing! The sandwiches are filling and flavorful and great for sharing... which is good, because there are so many great things on the menu, it's hard to choose what to order... The homemade chips are the perfect side. But definitely get dessert! Some to eat with your meal and then some more to take home with you. Highly recommend the Berry cheesecake. But everything else looked great too. It really is hard to pick one or two things... The beverage options are also great! The hibiscus tea with lemonade make a great combination! The restaurant was kept clean but some of the tables were broken/cracked. Staff was helpful on recommendations for which bread to use on your sandwiches. Or you can just go with what is on the menu.

Turkey Avocado sandwich. The bread is to die for. The filling is great also. This is a huge sandwich.

We are trying to visit places to eat new to us or we haven't visited in a long time. We moved further away from Kneaders. We visited tonight. It was incredible. The service was great. The food was so amazing. I forgot what I was missing.

    Chocolate Brownie

When Kneaders Bakery first open in Alamo Ranch, I was super excited to see a new restaurant bring a different variety of food options to the area. I have enjoyed many items from their menu. However, I feel like I was robbed today. I have orders the chocolate brownie from there so many times. But today I paid wait for it $3.67 for a brownie no bigger than the size of a credit card. Well one thing I can say is thank you Kneaders for helping start of my weight lost journey as I can't justify paying that much for a sweet treat.

My son had the Athenian burger. He was not impressed at all. It was supposed to be an Angus burger topped with what would normally be on a Gyro. It left him, wishing he had just gone straight for a Gyro instead. He found the meat dry and flavorless. He also wasn't a fan of the feta fries. He said all he tasted was too much salt. I ordered the classic Greek salad. I guess I should have read the ingredients before I trusted this place to make it. It had more Romain lettuce ribs then anything else. I was not expecting any lettuce at all. They need to take the word classic off of it. It was supposed to come with pita bread. It came with those little flat rubbery pieces of tortilla - like pita. I also ordered a spanakopita for us to split. What they served us was a very soggy pastry with almost no filling. Once again, not impressed. There are too many great places to get Greek food in San Antonio. We won't be back to this one.

After they placed their order I stepped up and placed my order for a number four Lil John no tomatoes and cheese. No drinks, no chips. I stepped back and noticed all of the orders pending. So right away I know it's going to be a wait. Soon after I placed my order, a mom and her little girl come in and place an order. I noticed a lot of people walking in who had placed mobile orders. When the orders start to be completed, the family of three go up and grab their lunch. Then the staff member calls a number four "something something something"couldn't hear him. A woman quickly gets up, grabs the sandwich and walks out, crumbling up the receipt, and not even looking at it. I walk up to the counter and I ask what was that order? He said oh, it's already been picked up. I had a sinking feeling it was my order but OK. Next the lady and her daughter get called for their lunch. They walk up there pick up their lunch and walk away. I look at the counter where they're preparing the sandwiches and there's no little John sandwich being made. I walk up and ask the gentleman again about my sandwich. He asks me my name. I tell him and he says, "could it be under another name?" I said absolutely not. He asked me how I placed my order. Was it an online order? I said no, I walked in after that family placed my order and then the little girl and the mother came after me. This means to me that he doesn't have my order or it means that they're not making the orders as they come in. The female staff member said, we're really busy; not an apology for getting the orders mixed up. My order wasn't complicated. It was a single small sandwich. If they were so busy, why didn't they have more people out there making sandwiches? I noticed Mr. Order-taker heading to the back after every order. Maybe he's taking lunch, but when you're that busy in the food industry shouldn't lunch wait until after the rush? They finally made "my" sandwich. After leaving, I spotted the receipt in the bag. I noticed the last 4 of the Visa card was not mine. I also noticed this person's order while similar to mine, had no mayo. It was placed much later than my order according to my bank info. Proving my theory. I called the store and spoke with the woman who claimed to be the manager. I recognized her voice (the one that said they were really busy). I explained everything I had discovered and that I understood mistakes happen, but not a single one of them apologized. She did finally apologize and offered to credit me for the sandwich, but that wasn't why I called. It was because of the way I was treated. I hope things change. I will also say, the sandwich was not worth the wait. I won't be going back to that location if I can help it.

I'm on their notification list when new things go down for the week, so this round I pre-ordered their gouda and bacon sourdough loaves, my absolute fave! So, we don't have to wait in line with the others for a smoother service. My eyes were burning the entire time while we were waiting inside. We've been a few times and never been disappointed. The bagels are a bit tough (due to sourdough in lieu of traditional bagel dough) but the bread and other items are fresh and well made. Most of what is available is a pastry, a few cookies and other odd items like spreads. We've been twice and bought bagels but they were unable to re-heat them or provide even butter or cheese for them. The sandwiches are varied and made with their bread. Prices aren't low or medium but fair given that they are making it all there. Watch the hours as they may be open but aren't serving lunch or only have certain products available.
