I hooked it up to a 4gb hard drive I was not using and "Poof", no more $100 per month TV bills and I now had a 4gb DVR which is good for thousands of hours of recorded shows. All the channels came in perfect except 12 NBC. I moved the digital antenna all over but no luck. So I did some research on TV antennas and came across Free HDTV AZ, and the owner TJ. He had a $50 off coupon on his website so for $250, TJ stopped by, provided and installed the antenna with pole mount, and professionally ran the cable down my wall and into my house and hooked it into the back of my Tablo! Boom, now I got all the channels including channel 12. So, $415 later (approx 4 month Cox TV bill) I have free TV! If you are a DIY person you can get an outdoor antenna and mount it yourself and save $100. If you are not a DIY then call TJ @ 480-206-2407. He also will install your Tablo for an extra $50 and your Roku $25 if you need him to. Now a word about Tablo. It is a streaming and DVR for your over the air free tv all in 1 little box. It is compatible with any streaming device like a Roku or Fire Stick, etc. With a Tablo you can stream the free TV to any TV in your house that has a Roku like device. You just download the app on your streaming device and you are in business. You can get the recorded programs at any TV too. Also you control the Tablo from an app on your phone if you want to. The cheaper Tablo I bought has two tuners. This is the 1 I bought. Be aware that having 2 tuners means you can record 2 show at the same time only. If you have 4 people in your home you might want to consider the upgraded one with 4 tuners. The quality of the TV picture and the recorded shows are HD. Truly amazing. When you call TJ, tell him Ron sent you. Now if there was a good alternative to Cox on internet ...........

Mario was on time, very professional, did a FANTASTIC job on the installation, and I am 100% satisfied with the install and performance of the antenna. Even my wife (who is very much OCD) is glad we went with the roof mounted antenna. The reception is way better than I hoped for, and we get nearly twice as many broadcast channels as we did with the amplified indoor antenna. We ran the antenna cable to our HD HomeRun DVR box which uses our router to send the broadcast station signals to our iPhones, iPads, Windows PCs, and 5 TVs using Amazon Fire Sticks. My only regret is that I wish I wouldn't have waited so long to do this. Thanks Mario!! I couldn't be happier.

OR you message them and they don't even call or text back. With this last set of problems I first text them on May 4th. Then the problems have gotten worse and worse and now the whole system is not working. We try to reset, doesn't work. Then we call cox because they like to blame everything on cox, that doesn't work. Then when we are upset that it took almost a month for them to call back, they say I know you are upset and you're taking it out on me! Uuuuuhhhhhh yeah!!! I'm taking it out on you because you don't answer the phone, you don't answer texts, and then when we do finally track you down it's going to be 2 weeks before we get someone out to look at it! I have 2 businesses that I run from my home and 2 weeks is a long time to be out of business!!! Hire more people so you can live up to what you are selling people!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Attached are the communications the last few times we have needed assistance. Sometimes you are communicated with and sometimes not! Use someone else that has better customer service, that doesn't put the blame on you!

I have a technology background and from the very start I could tell Jared understood my needs and suggested the route I should go and what equipment I might need. I told him I wanted 6 hard wired cameras / 2 security panels / 2 smart thermostats / a smoke detector tied into their system and my 2 smart locks linked as well. He actually talked me out of one panel which saved me a bunch of money and am super happy as I use the app most of the time bs the actual panel. They came and finished the install in one day as promised and now I can monitor front / sides and the back of the house, open the front and the garage door remotely, turn the heat or A/C on and off, be notified of a fire and actually asked about a carbon monoxide detector while install guy was here and that is now also installed. All the doors and windows had sensors and they tested them all including the shatter glass sensors I had. They will also be doing the monitoring with no contract - I am super happy with the pricing and level of service I received. Don't hesitate to use them for your future needs.

I called today and spoke to Sara to get a timeline on the form and share their network is still trying to connect and sending us notifications. She seemed to get upset and note it was just her and Lucas running the company and there is nothing she could do it. I told her I understand but she started to blame the new company we went with and said they needed to take care of it. She seemed very confused and ended up hanging up on me because I asked her not to call me sweetheart. After hanging up she called back 10 min later and gave me a new name of Brandy and when I questioned if she was Sarah or brandy she said she had two names. Never acknowledged that she hung up and just noted she sent a note to IT and kept calling me honey and sweetheart. Just really bizarre behavior. The cameras - At first they were great, but then started to lag greatly. (We did upgrade the WiFi and all that) the doorbell was hit or miss sometimes it would record and other times it wouldn't and then eventually stoped working. When we would call to have someone come out they said someone would get back to us but they never would. The monthly price is low at 29.99 which is a big sell but you get what you pay for. We have our security system with Vivant and decided to switch our cameras with them and it ended up being the same monthly price but a company that has great customer service and responsive.

Avoid at All Costs - Incompetent, Dangerous, and a Complete Ripoff…read more If I could give Oasis "Luxury" Smart Homes zero stars, I would. Hiring them was one of the worst decisions we've ever made. They charged an outrageous $4,000 to install 25 feet of LED strip lighting, took three months to finish what should have been a simple job, and still failed to deliver anything remotely acceptable. The "work" (if you can even call it that) was a disaster from start to finish: Unbelievable Incompetence - It took multiple failed attempts, four visits over three months, my husband repeatedly meeting with them in person, and they still couldn't get it right. The LED strip in the master bedroom failed entirely, and their so-called "experts" clearly had no idea what they were doing, from design to execution. Major Safety Hazard - Most egregiously, their botched installation could have burned down our home. After notifying Oasis we could not trust them anywhere near this project any longer, we called in a REAL lighting professional, who promptly pulled out the wiring and showed us that Oasis' garbage installation with incompatible components resulted in a melted connector inside the wall. We'd smelled the burning for some time before the LED driver blew out, thankfully protecting us and our property from an electrical fire. Shocking Lack of Professionalism - Their team spray-painted indoors without any protection, leaving a mess on our floors, broke wires in the kitchen, and generally bumbled something every visit. Communication was abysmal. Repeated requests for updates over the life of the project were ignored. Meetings with their rep, Ben, were useless because he apparently couldn't wrap his head around the design, despite being provided visual aids, and the technicians didn't even follow the agreed-upon plan. Total Waste of Time & Money - After months of frustration and thousands of dollars wasted, we were left with a non-functional, dangerous installation. And despite their catastrophic failure, they had the audacity to send us an invoice for the remainder of the $4,000. This company is a bunch of clowns and a scam and a liability. Do not trust them with your home. If you value your safety, your time, and your hard-earned money, RUN in the opposite direction. ---------------- Clarification on the response below. There was NOT "quite a bit" of additional work. It was 6ft of lighting in the kitchen, 16.9 feet of lighting in the master and the materials necessary for both. Neither of these were some wild design that your industry has never heard of. Standard LED lighting. And the master bedroom was by far the larger of the two requirements. My husband asked MULTIPLE times as this project was going off the rails to speak with you. Never heard a thing. Maybe you should have a word with your staff. ALSO - our designer called you and had a conversation with you earlier this month to let you know how wrong this has gone and ask for your help. Did we hear from you then? Nope. So spare me the story that this is news to you. As for you reaching out, my husband just now found your response to our notice of dispute of the final invoice. Well after the project ended. It's really too little too late, unfortunately. Leadership was absent through this entire ordeal on every level. A refund and "We're terribly sorry" is indeed the only right answer here. ---------------- Update as of 2/24/2025: No surprise here - Justin and his team still haven't issued the refund they promised. Instead of taking responsibility, their response to this review was to try and bury it by creating a fake 5-star rating the very next day. Rather than making things right, they're focused on damage control. This speaks volumes about how they operate. If the owner can't own up to mistakes and do right by customers, what does that say about the integrity of the business? Think twice before trusting them with your money.

A representative spent over an hour with me and my wife, discussing options and promising a proposal shortly thereafter. What followed was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I had to send four separate follow-up requests -- including one to their general sales email -- just to receive the estimate, which finally arrived 20 days later. And the proposal? For a single 98" Sony TV, a soundbar, and a few accessories, the quote came in at over $15,000, with a "discount" of four cents. Yes, $0.04. No full surround sound, no advanced system, no customization -- just inflated parts, padded labor, and insulting communication. This experience made it clear that Oasis either didn't want my business or had no intention of delivering value or professionalism. I expected expert guidance and a fair bid. What I got was silence, delays, and a tone-deaf proposal that felt more like a brush-off than an offer. Needless to say, I'll be taking my project elsewhere. I recommend others proceed with caution.
