The only thing we get here is a Philly Cheesesteak... I got a chicken salad sandwich once and it was too mayonaisey for my taste. I also tried to branch out and get a diff sub...nope. Basic and not great. The cheesesteak with onions and peppers is the way to go. It's good 80% of the time - so it's kind of a game when we go. The time before last the meat was not seasoned well or something. Ended up taking it home and re-cooking the meat and adding more cheese and then shoving back on the roll...the bread is squishy and soggy but it's good with the cheesesteak - not on any other sandwich. It takes a min to cook so give the server/line cook some grace. The service is counter service and wait so expect that. Walked in and the place had great tunes and good vibe. Place was super busy so I knew I was in the right spot. Ordered an Italian and got it pressed which you can do with any sandwich. I'll be honest, even with the discount from a Local Flavor voucher, Publix makes a better hoagie/sub. The bread is too soft and reminds me of a refrigerated, half cooked loaf. There's nothing special about the coleslaw. For a supposedly "warmed" sub, the pastrami & Swiss filling were room temperature. The staff was cordial, and they kept themselves occupied throughout the duration of our visit, so it's not like they were being lazy. They could probably benefit from some instruction on how to properly make a sandwich, however. The dining area is pretty clean, albeit an odd layout, with front and rear entries. The bathrooms could benefit from a little more attention. While their hoagies may make the cut for some, there's a lot to be desired. read more

Came here because my husband wanted ham and cheese pressed on a long sub roll. New to the area not many local delis to order what you want. Looked on google saw the advertisement had a pressed ham and cheese and drove over. Ordered the ham and cheese with mayo only they said he couldn't press it. What?! I said is simple less stuff than a cuban. The lady next to the cashier agreed to do it. Thank goodness my husband would of been crushed cause its the only thing he wanted. Bread is soft like a Jimmy John's portions are smaller. Overall not a fan but I did like a lot of the sandwich options that others may enjoy. It was a pretty good sandwich and one of the few places you can still get one for under $10. I like that they have the zappos chips and some unique sodas in the fountain. The sandwich itself was pretty good. The bread was soft and adequate. I love the very thin shredded lettuce on there. Dropped in for their grand opening today. The owner was very nice and greeted everyone in line. I was told that the #12 Original Italian is their most popular sandwich. I customized my sandwich a bit, leaving out the mayo and adding pickles, cucumbers, cherry pepper relish, salt and pepper, and dijon mustard on half. I appreciated that they separated the hoagies into two wrappers to keep the dijon separated. Unfortunately, they added way too much salt and pepper and that's all I could taste on the sandwich. So that kind of ruined it for me. In addition, the sandwich with the dijon dressing was very soggy. I think if I were to go again, I would obviously not add the salt and pepper or the dijon dressing. In fact, I might not customize it at all and see how it tastes as constructed. I hope Knuckies does well, but I did not have a great hoagie for my first experience. read more

I just got a gluten free sandwich from them. First off, they charge you for a 9inch hoagie plus extra for gluten free bread. I got home to find they use normal sandwich size bread. They left off the lettuce and gave me the heel of the bread too. So essentially I paid for a 9 inch sub and got normal sandwich size bread AND paid more for it. Not cool. read more

Solid sub joint. Brand new. Ordered an original Italian today and it came well packaged. I would mention the taste was delicious and the ingredients were well proportioned. I like the lettuce they are using which is shredded more finely than pictured. I think the mayo and cherry peppers are top notch here. Will order again. read more

Went to the grand opening today and got their Italian #12. It was delicious. This is my go to sandwich place now. So many other things I am eager to try. Banana pudding. Buffalo chicken hoagie... Placed an online order for two sandwiches. When I got it home it was not what I ordered at all and was just plain (what it comes with). There was not much meat and a lot of bread. I went on the website and emailed the customer service. Someone responded quickly, apologized, and said they would refund my money and send me a coupon for future use. Food came out fairly slowly for a couple of mini sandwiches in a mostly empty restaurant. My husband got the Knuckie and thought it was just ok. I went for the BLT- big mistake. It consisted of what tasted like 3 strips of unmicrowaved microwaveable bacon. It would have been a disappointing amount of bacon even if it wasn't the only meat on the sandwich. Word of warning- don't get the mini size. We thought it would be the normal sandwich shop thing where the large is huge and the small is passable. We left hungry. If you're wanting to eat inside, pick somewhere else. Not sure I understand this concept, or maybe I just ordered the wrong sandwich. Went with the Italian, as it's a stable option at any sub shop. For the record, the pressed Cuban also consumed at our table was very good, but the two Italian subs were lackluster at best. Starting with a bread to filling ratio of about 85/15, and bread that was actually cold, nearly stale and lightly dressed, half the roll went right into the garbage. Lack of fillings, including the veggies, I'd call this "underwhelming". First time trying this chain, but probably won't be back anytime soon, especially when there are so many tried and true options at other brands. read more

Disappointed with first visit. We got two different subs, neither impressed. Biggest issue was the white bread, which was not well baked and far too soft. Hard to deliver a good sub without quality-made bread. Mike's Jersey Subs is across the street and far superior. Jimmy John's is better. read more
