Even people who have ordered ahead were waiting at least 15 minutes+ to grab their orders. My last visit was 45 minutes, sunk cost fallacy had me staying in line. There's usually just 1 person serving the line, maybe one person dealing with people who've ordered ahead and one or two others that are prepping ingredients. This most recent visit they were out of cucumbers and a couple of other ingredients. With the light staffing it also meant the seating area is about as well maintained and cleaned as prior patrons have done themselves. If you're used to the locations in the city and the efficiency you see there, this is not it. The employees have no sense of urgency and stop to chit chat with each other in between swapping gloves which just adds to the time it takes to serve each customer.

The salmon was a bit overcooked and dry, but still pretty good. The salad was fresh and I particularly loved the caesar dressing because most places don't really use anchovy in the dressing. Will definitely order again!

To start, we shared the crispy brussel sprouts Charleston style. These were delicious with the tangy sauce and large flakes of parmesan cheese. For my main, I had the brunch wrap. It comes with chips, but I swapped for fries for an additional charge. The wrap was a good size; I had half and saved the rest for leftovers. It was tasty, but not a ton of flavor. The tater tots were nice and crispy and I enjoyed the fresh tomatoes and avocado. They gave me a huge portion of crinkle cut fries, which also would've been great with a little more seasoning, but they were good when dipped in mayo. My husband got the shrimp and grits and appreciated the large portion size as well. I had a lemonade to drink. It was refreshing since it wasn't overly sweet. Service was great. I look forward to trying the rest of the menu!

Aesthetically, each table feels like a meal at a family dinner table; it's clear that they wanted that vibe to be translated, and it's done quite well. This is also supported by the service being very friendly and helpful in general. To eat, I had the French toast burger with sweet potato fries. Some others with me had various sides like regular fries and tater tots, and the same thing was present on them that tends not to be at most places: they were all perfectly salted/seasoned. It might seem immaterial, but it's a very good signal when something that simple--yet often neglected in favor of just using condiments to mask it--is executed well. If you're a burger place with fries that taste great without the need for a sauce or condiment, you're doing something right. The French toast burger was likewise fantastic, combining sweet and savory in a great way. To drink, we all got a communal pitcher of the only frozie they had available at the time: a kind of jungle juice vodka slushie. It, too, was great--worthy of multiple rounds. All in all, here's a place that I can't wait to give another visit.

Five stars for the amazing staff that works here and their kindness and hard working!…read more Usual smoothie bowl places always have a little fresh ingredient and excitement about them when you walk in. This place felt a bit gloomy and down but either way I came in for a smoothie as I was in between work and needed a quick pick me upper that wouldn't take too much time and would feel me up. I ordered a Bango Boss with banana, flax seed, peanut butter, chocolate protein and almond milk. Loved that I was able to customize the chocolate protein and milk for a plant based one. Even though it was busy the smoothie came out pretty fast and while my first sip didn't have me dancing in place with my eyes closed, the smoothie did keep me held up during a super busy work day. I do wish it was slightly more chocolatey and you could also taste the peanut butter. Other than that great spot to get a smoothie or açaí bowl if you're in Scarsdale. Restrooms are available but located in the main building. You need a key to access them and to go up and elevator and finally land this sketchy floor to use the restroom. So just be sure to either hold off or know before you go :)
