Just had the best Hibachi Chicken here with my Daughter. The waitstaff at Kobe is wonderful. Lots of table side service, whisking away plates and filling my tea glass for the third time. This is my Daughters favorite place to lunch, and I like it as well. It surprised me that they are now offering an ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI for lunch or dinner. Came for a weekend dinner at the Hibachi station and left very disappointed in both the show and the food. Show The show started with the two metal tools juggling. Our guy accidentally flung the two pronged pointer to the side and it fell on the ground. He then picked it back up and continued the juggles instead of getting a new one. Then he moved onto the egg tossing and tried to get it to land on the side of one of his utensils. He failed three times in a row and gave up. At least we had lots of egg in the fried rice? He moved onto rice flinging into the customer mouths. The tosses were really bad and it kept landing short onto the table and on the customer clothes. As a finale, he did the onion volcano with a train whistle except the flames wouldn't stay on for longer than half a second each ignition. Very weak performance. Hibachi Shrimp ($23.95) Overcooked and rubbery. Not all the shrimp had been properly deveined and deshelled. The mushrooms as part of the veggies were also not properly washed as there were still bits of dirt on them. Hibachi Steak ($23.95) Server mentioned this was a ribeye cut. I'll let you decide from the pictures. Also ordered it medium rare but it came out medium well at best. Oh and the steak was also cut with the same two pronged pointer that had previously fallen on the floor. Performance, cleanliness, cooking were all bottom level. Family couldn't even finish the meal with how tough the proteins were. Maybe because gratuity was already charged, no extra effort was made? read more

Love this place but I'm biased as I use to work here many years ago under a different owner, almost my whole family worked here at one point over the decades. Sitting the Hibachi Tables you get a great entertainment and excellent food. I LOVE their fried rice that I always get extra to go for later. The meat and shrimp in the Splash N Meadow is always juicy and yummy. They also have a full sushi bar with fresh and delicious sushi, hand rolls and unique rolls. My favorite is the Skydiver Roll and Kamikazee Roll, Scallop Volcano Roll and many others. Great place to go before and so much better than other hibachi places. Sat at a table rather than hibachi. The sushi was tasteless at best and inedible at worst. The "chef's choice" sushi roll was just a California roll. The hibachi calamari was nice and not too chewy. The egg rolls were something you would buy at Costco. (But we happen to like those egg rolls) Hot stuff was hot, cold stuff was cold, wait staff was friendly, and the part of the restaurant we saw looked clean. We ordered food online to be picked up so I can't really comment on service or ambiance. The food was well prepared and we received plenty of condiments. The chicken friend rice for just under $5 was more than enough for a meal. The peppered tuna was fabulous. The 2 rolls we ordered were tasty. The only thing lacking any taste was the tuna tataki. I really loved this place, me and my boyfriend came here for Valentine's Day and the atmosphere is amazing. The menu has many different options that I couldn't even pick so I gave my waiter (Jacob ) four different options and he surprised me with two which were incredible I loved it so much and our waiter was very kind! Love this place so much. Is the first place I learned to like steak at. Service is amazing ALL GHE TIME. I feel so bad I never get her name but she's there everytime I come in so she knows me by name now. But the hostess is so sweet. Helped me take my to ho order to my car and everything and gave me lots of refills while I waited. Sweetheart all around. And the atmosphere is super nice and clean. An update: We have been here a few times and the service was excellent again! We were seated quickly and our waiter was attentive and helpful. We both had the Orange Roughy - with bean sprouts and vegetables. While the vegetables were delicious the fish was a bit boring - no flavor to me until I asked for some teriyaki sauce and poured it over the fish - although my husband enjoyed it as it was served. I rate this place a 10/10! My family and I went there for our daughter's birthday dinner. It was a Saturday around 4. The place has a very mom and pops vibe but hibachi. We typically go to Benihana but I was looking for an alternative. We had the chicken and steak hibachi and my two children each had the kids hibachi. Drinks not included with the kids meals. My wife and I just drank water. We had a chef to our selves, which was really nice. He didn't short us on the presentation either. He ran through all his tricks and really made the experience enjoyable. Our waiter was attentive and the food was great! It was seasoned really well and none of us were able to finish our meals. This restaurant is nestled in a strip center right off of Sawdust Road. You'll see a Walgreens, Game Preserve and a Fed Ex business which will lead you there. They do not have a happy hour so this would not be my first choice but the food, service and the plum saki makes up for all of that for me. The placement of the food that comes out to you is not on the top of the 10 list but it's way better than you will ever see on a buffet, and delicious! I remember having the dragon roll which was a decent amount for what you pay. You might have to ask for some Wasabi on the side since I don't believe it was on the plate. Service here is teamwork. You will hardly ever have to wait to get a refill and don't forget to try the plum saki. There are usually two guys in the back at the Hibachi Grill which is on my list to try on my next visit. Preliminary impression of the place is that I like it. I had the lunch sushi combo. I was mildly concerned about a lack of freshness in the food, and to be honest, this transferred to the taste in the California Roll as well. The quality of the sushi was very good. I was happy with the soup, salad, and meal in general. Great service. Following up on this review, I can now say that the food is consistently excellent.
